Why Linda Loeschen chose Basalt

This cabin has been on the property for the ranch hands. Over the years, Lee has fixed it up to make it the sweet cabin that it is now.

What makes this cabin unique

The quiet beauty of this spot is incomparable. The only sound is the ripple of the stream or the whinny of a horse.

It is only minutes to Whole Foods, restaurants, golf, skiing or anything else that you would want. The cabin is small but comfortable and a fantasy come true.

Cozy Honeymoon!

  • 5 of 5

This cozy cabin has been absolutely magnificent! It's tucked away by hills and mountains, with the smell of mountain air that my husband and I both love! We arrived to a bottle of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon and at night, both of us laid in awe of how many stars we got to see! Loved seeing the shooting stars! This cabin has everything. We planned on cooking in the cabin to make some home made meals while we're here, they have the pots and pans to do so! It's got everything you need! We will be back to this amazing cabin!

What a slice of heaven!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I recently stayed at this lovely cabin and it was perfect for the 2 of us. Rustic, but had everything we needed. Especially loved watching the stars through the skylight above the bed at night.

Close enough to everything we needed and some great hiking and mountain biking near by. We'll be back!

Fantastic getaway, close enough to Denver, far enough away.

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway to this adorable woodsy cabin in Basalt! It was far enough away from any major city, the nearby cities were small and cute, and the natural surroundings were beautiful! We loved watching the stars as we faded into dreamland. I would highly recommend!

Little Cabin on the Ranch

  • 5 of 5

Having traveled all over the world, I can honestly say this is a little piece of paradise. The skylight over the bed, (as big as the bed), and the creek running outside your window makes this an outdoor expierence without leaving the comfort of the cabin. No Bugs! I watched shooting stars and cotton candy clouds upon sun rise from the comfort of my bed. Being in the fresh mountain air was made even better as I sat on my private patio watching the horses graze and the butterfly flitter past.

The owners, Linda and Lee, are two of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. They guided me to a beautiful hike and amazing bike ride along the river.

If you need a to get away I highly recommend this rustic gem.

Great real log cabin for 2 people NOT more.

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at the cabin. It is a real cozy small log cabin with a lot of charm. It is not luxury and very original but has all the comfort feature like a fridge, stove, TV, internet, dish washer, dryer and washer. For sure hot water and electricity. It is super quite and idyllic. 30 minutes or so from Aspen/snowmass. the bed is very comfortable and the view into the sky stunning. If you don't expect a big living room a huge couch and 70" inch flat panel, you will love it.

Private cabin

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent a wonderful week in this beautiful private cabin. We played hard this week!! Minutes from a beautiful bike path and near several rivers for fly fishing. The cabin area was so quaint and the privacy we loved. Added feature was the huge skylight in the bedroom loft. Lots of stargazing. Looking forward to this cabin next year!!
