Hi, I’m Chris.

I spent 24 years living in the United Kingdom, where I worked as an Export Sales Manager, building international relationships and managing clients across different countries and cultures. My career taught me the importance of professionalism, attention to detail, clear communication, and delivering on promises, values I now bring into hosting.

Working in exports meant understanding people from all over the world. I learned that no matter where someone comes from, what they appreciate most is reliability, honesty, and a genuine sense of welcome. That philosophy is exactly how I approach hosting today.

After many years abroad, I returned to Costa Rica with a renewed appreciation for my home country. Living overseas made me see Costa Rica through the eyes of a visitor, the beauty of Arenal, the warmth of the people, the peace, and the nature. It reminded me that what feels normal to us is extraordinary to others.

Hosting is now my way of combining both worlds:
British professionalism with Costa Rican warmth.

What I enjoy most is the quiet atmosphere surrounded by nature, while still being just minutes from downtown La Fortuna. You can easily access restaurants, supermarkets, coffee shops, tour operators, and some of the best hot springs in the area, all within a short drive.

After a day exploring waterfalls, hiking around the Arenal Volcano, or visiting the hot springs, it’s wonderful to return to a secure and calm environment away from the noise of town.

Every decision, from the layout to the furnishings, was chosen with comfort and functionality in mind.
