Condo in Vail off of I-70

Overall it was a decent condo. However there was one big issue I wish I would have known about. The master bedroom of the fourth floor unit faces a major interstate and unfortunately the window does not have good sound proofing so I heard the traffic noise during the night. I even tried putting in earplugs and it did not help much. I am very use to a quiet environment at night. The water from the faucet also had an odd taste to it. There were minor repairs to furniture and light fixtures that were needed as well. On the bright side my husband was able to work from the condo which means the internet was very good. I liked the layout of the condo, the master bedroom was separated from the second bedroom by a bathroom and small hallway to give some privacy and distance to the master. The overall vibe of the condo is a late 1980's feel.

Aside from salt and pepper there were no other food supplies, no condiments in the refrigerator, leftover tea or coffee or coffee filters. The refrigerator would make a loud running noise but it was not heard in either of the bedrooms.

Owner's Response: The interstate is here. Not a lot we can do about that, it is the major way across the Rockies. I have never heard about a water taste.....I will have the association look at that. By law, we cannot leave any condiments or items in the condo. My property manager Vail Realty will provide you with coffee filters if you ask, they keep a supply in their office.
