THE CABIN
Valley View Cottage sits right off Wears Valley Road on the peaceful side of the Smokies — no white-knuckle mountain roads, no steep driveways. Just a flat lot, open sky, and real mountain views from the front porch and backyard.

The backyard is built for hanging out: private hot tub, wood-burning fire pit (wood not provided), picnic table, and string lights overhead. In summer, your stay includes a membership to a local outdoor pool with a fishing pond.

Inside, a detached game house adds foosball, darts, board games, and card games. Smart TVs throughout let you sign into your own streaming accounts.

We enjoyed our stay & would stay again. The home was clean, decorated very cute, had comfortable furniture, smart tv’s, plenty of parking, everything we needed. We really enjoyed the nice outdoor area, we grilled out, enjoyed a nice fire, & the hot tub. Great communication from the host & a super easy checkout. I was a little worried about the house being so close to the road, but it didn’t bother us at all. We had a great time.

Great little cottage in Wears Valley! Home was clean and modern with everything provided. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the giant comfy beds! Note that the cottage is right on a main road and traffic is audible from the house, so bring earplugs or white noise if a light sleeper. Communication with the hosts was easy and clear, checkin and checkout were both super simple—no long lists of chores, quick and easy!

9/10. Property was clean and pretty well stocked. CLEAN BEDS AND ROOMS which is always a must. Would suggest better privacy screening for hot tub, but it’s a nice set up for the outdoor area. Hot tub was clean and not over chlorinated which happens far too often. Only 2 little things… We didn’t find hand soap and thought the initial cleaning set up was light. But dollar general is like 2 miles so no big deal. The trundle bed room is tight, and better suited for kids. The mattress height makes it hard to get in and out. With a little manipulation you can make it workable for teens….but overall it was fine. Would rent again. The Xplorie credits made it well worth the stay as we spent most of the time at Dollywood.
