Relax and unwind in this spacious, family-friendly creekside cabin, perfectly located near Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. With 2 king beds, a queen bed, and a full/twin bunk, there’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out and feel at home.
Enjoy a cozy gas fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and beautiful creek views just steps from the back door. The large, flat yard is perfect for kids to play, while adults can relax by the fire pit, fish in the creek, or unwind in the hot tub. Outside, you’ll also find a picnic table and charcoal grill—ideal for family cookouts and evenings under the stars.

Very nice property it was so peaceful staying there. My teenage grandson loved the creek and the fishing. It was a hidden gem but close enough to every thing within a short distance.

Pros: communicative and kind host. Property was semi-private but still within 15-30 min of nearly everything around.Cons: Sadly, we became more frustrated as the week went on with the cabin and property. It had such potential to be nice (and probably once was) but is now more of a “landlord special” that needs many upgrades and attention to detail and cleaning. The host was kind when I reached out and sent someone to clean and had to completely replace the couch because it was so disgusting. We were asked what she could clean to “make us feel more comfortable” which was kind but also a little too late. Light bulbs out, broken fixtures, shotty craftmanship, sloping floors and gaps in flooring, fire pit area was unkempt and infested with ants, foosball table had no balls and was rusted. One of our ppl used the hot tub briefly the first full day but became uneasy about its cleanliness as we found more and more areas uncleaned around the house- dirty dishes and knives put away in cabinets, other guests trash in windowsills, random drips and stuff on the walls and cobwebs everywhere. Just overall incredibly frustrating for the price.

We immediately sent someone out to address the issues and offered additional cleaning to help make you feel more comfortable, but that offer was declined. We wish we could have had the opportunity to further address the concerns while you were still there. We have taken your feedback seriously and have made additional improvements since your stay, including replacing both sofas and completing extra deep cleaning throughout the cabin. We also want to reassure future guests that our hot tubs are completely drained, cleaned, and refilled after every single stay. Had we been made aware of any concerns with the hot tub during your visit, we would have promptly sent someone out to inspect and clean it. We are sorry your experience fell short, and we truly appreciate your feedback as it helps us continue improving the homes and service we provide.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. The inside was clean and had everything we needed. We spent more time outside enjoying the creek. It was the perfect spot to sit and cool off while listening to the rushing water. It was also close to activities in Pigeon Forge. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful cabin and great location!

We really enjoyed our stay at Maples Ridge cabin! The hosts were really friendly and super helpful. The cabin was really pretty, and the location was so convenient! It was only about five miles from the Island in Pigeon Forge.

I love the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and all that the area has to offer. We visit at least once a month and always feel refreshed when we return home. My daughter attends college in the area and we have always called Pigeon Forge our second home. I look forward to retiring to the area.

Why they chose this property

This property is located just outside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. There is a meandering creek just steps from the back door, with sounds and views of the water from the deck. Located on Waldens' Creek Rd less than 1 mile from city limits of Pigeon Forge. You have the quiet serenity of the country but only minutes to action packed Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We have an oversized yard with plenty of room for yard activities and chairs around the fire pit.

What makes this property unique

Away from the hustle and traffic but still less than 8 minutes to all attractions. We love to spend late nights out by the creek with a roaring fire in the fire pit, surrounded by the moon and stars. The fire flies on early summer nights remind me of long ago days spent on our grandparents farm.
