Nestled in Mi-Wuk Village, this custom built 2 story elegant mountain retreat home has soaring ceilings, huge bay windows, and sits in a peaceful woodland setting. This delightful house offers 4 large bedrooms with a variety of bed sizes to accommodate all guests, a desk for remote work, free wi-fi access, and all the amenities of home. With amenities like a jetted bathtub for a perfect relaxation spot after a day of exploring, a large deck for out door dining and BBQ, your stay will be both enjoyable and convenient. Our property is kid-friendly and we have lots of games and movies, as well as access to streaming platforms, for all ages to enjoy. We hope you enjoy what our place and Mi-Wuk Village has to offer. It's located only a short distance from Pinecrest Lake, Dodge Ridge, Sonora, wineries, Aspen Meadows, and more! In winter, it's on one of the first streets to be plowed.

This was the second time here meaning we liked it enough last year. Generally if all goes well, it's a pretty good place. We had a big snow storm where we were told the road in front of the place would be plowed. We couldn't leave the house for days because our roads weren't plowed even though even one around us was. Our power went out the last night as well. All of this was due to a crazy storm but also there was not any flexibility on the cost when we were not able to get out of the house to ski or do otherwise when this was the entire point of the trip and was pre-booked. Also no response to the lack of power the last night. Beautiful snow. The reaction to the problems was disappointing both from the renter and from VRBO.

Why they chose this property

My husband and I found the property located conveniently off the highway, but in a quiet neighborhood. We decided to build our dream mountain retreat in this peaceful and quiet area for us and our grandkids to enjoy.

What makes this property unique

Our home has huge cathedral ceilings, large bay windows with lots of natural light coming through, and a large deck with outdoor dining options for a peaceful stay. The full size fully furnished kitchen has a gas stove and oven, and outdoor BBQ making dining in easy and comfortable. Upstairs master bathroom has a large jetted jacuzzi tub to help you unwind from your day. Our home is kid-friendly with games and movies, and access to online streaming platforms. There is also a work station upstairs to make working remotely easy and comfortable.
