Property was very clean and well stocked with all of the essentials. Check in was seamless and quick. Quiet and convenient location to our destinations. Only concern was the driveway was located in a sharp curve making the house number was hard to see-especially after dark.
My family had a great stay! Super cute cottage in a very charming town. Very nice artistic touches and very peaceful and natural surroundings. Very accommodating host. Hope to return someday! Thanks
Three of my college friends and I met here for a long-awaited weekend reunion, with three of us traveling from North Carolina and one from Florida. Although it was REALLY hot—as you would expect in the South in mid-July—the air conditioning kept the house perfectly comfortable. We did venture out to eat at TW Graham's and a place in Charleston, but most importantly we were able to relax, visit, and simply enjoy being together. The house was extremely well stocked with water, coffee, and even hot chocolate. I don’t drink coffee, but my friends do, and they really appreciated the generous supply!Finding the house was a little challenging because the house number is set back from the road and is out of sequence with the other houses. I finally asked a kind neighbor for help and discovered that it was right next door—I just hadn’t gone quite far enough! Other than that minor difficulty, our weekend was perfect.Grace is a fantastic host and stayed in communication with us whenever we had questions. We enjoyed our visit so much that we are planning to make this reunion an annual event—or perhaps even more often. We will definitely be back!
**Fantastic artistic hideaway in historic McClellanville**We had such a wonderful stay at The Marsh Princess. This cozy studio home has so much character and charm. It’s clearly a labor of love—everywhere you look there are thoughtful artistic touches. Take a closer look as you walk through the space and especially when you head up to the loft… there are some delightful hidden art surprises waiting to be found. It made the stay feel special and personal. The space itself is comfortable and inviting. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully set up so we could settle in right away. The kitchen was generously stocked, and the host had thoughtfully left plenty of water—small details that made a big difference and made us feel truly welcomed. The owner was super accommodating and responsive. Communication was easy and helpful from start to finish.McClellanville itself is a quiet, historic gem, and this little studio was the perfect base for a peaceful getaway. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, artistic retreat with a warm host.Thank you for a lovely stay!
