The Carter's Wildwood Rentals- Master Suite #3

Suite 3 is part of a quadplex which features three beautiful apartment suites that sleep 6 and a Master Suite that sleeps 15. Located in the middle of town only 2 1/2 blocks walking distance from the boardwalk. You can see the iconic Beach Balls from the house! The Carter's is a family home and we welcome you and your family to come make some memories with us!























Suite #3 is the largest unit in this enormous quadplex which features three beautiful apartments that sleep 6 each and this Master Suite that sleeps 15. The huge building has fully renovated interior with brand new furniture and appliances. Ample off street parking in a gated lot , located right in the middle of town. There is a covered balcony for sightseeing and the common backyard area has a covered bar and patio both with Bluetooth speakers, outdoor shower, and charcoal grill for barbeques. Only 2 1/2 blocks walking distance from the boardwalk, you can see the iconic Beach Balls from the house!!! The Carter's is a family home and we welcome you and your family to come make some memories with us!

Perfect option for our 9 young adults celebrating the end of the year !!

Location could not be beat !! Amenities, restaurants and markets ! Boardwalk and beach in close proximity. Landlord was super responsive and helpful in the planning process.

Place was Great!

We stayed here for a a weekend for my friends bachelor party. It was a great location. A block from the boardwalk , beach and many restaurants. The back patio was awesome as well. Easy contact/check in. Would definitely stay again. -Scott

When we arrived, the property was in unacceptable condition and did not reflect the description provided in the listing. Although the hosts responded to our request for additional cleaning, the overall condition remained unsanitary and unsuitable for a family stay.Specific concerns included:A strong odor of beer throughout the home.Sticky countertops, tables, and chairs despite appearing “tidy.”Stained box springs and unstable, squeaky bed frames.Filthy stairwells and banisters, with stained walls and ceilings.Kitchen cabinets that were dirty and missing handles.Bedrooms lacking closets or dressers for clothing storage.Additionally, the location was misrepresented. The home is situated on a busy road directly across from a large brewery that remained open until 1:00 AM with loud outdoor live music, making it extremely difficult for anyone—especially our four young grandchildren—to sleep.This property appears to cater more to groups of young adults seeking a party atmosphere rather than families. Unfortunately, the stay was stressful, disappointing, and did not justify the premium rate charged.

Great short-term rental

I truly believe that most VRBO rentals are perfect for the right kind of group. This property was in an ideal location for a group of friends looking for a good time. On the main level there is one bedroom with a full sized bed and a bathroom. Both sofas downstairs pull out to beds, but they are not as comfortable as some. Upstairs is another bath with 4 bedrooms and 2 twin beds in each. Again, this would be great for friends traveling, but not as much for couples. There is no washer or dryer, so again, fine for a quick weekend, but not ideal for a longer stay at the beach, The kitchen is small, but has everything you need. Plenty of towels for showers, plenty of hot water. As far as the location, it is directly across from Mud Hen brewery and right off of a main road, so there was a bit of road noise and music at night. That being said, there was a liquor store, Wawa and surf shop very close. The beach was about a 10-15 min walk, but not inconvenient. The host was responsive and accommodating. Many places at the shore will not do a rental shorter than a week in the summer, so we were very thankful to get a 3 night rental.

Holds a lot of people, but more for college kids/young adults than families

The owner was very nice and I want to say I know she did try but there was a lot about this property that needs to be updated. PROS- great distance from the beach. It was only a few blocks and we were able to walk everyday to the beach and boardwalk. It’s across the street from a nice bar and brewery. Parking spots for 3 cars. Outdoor area with seats. Sleeps a good amount of people. 2 main sitting rooms and 2 leather sectionals that seat a lot of people. CONS- First, the place wasn’t that clean. The showers and floors had random hairs from people when we first arrived. Please consider having a rotation of bathroom floor mats. The ones in there look like they haven’t been cleaned in a while and we’re pretty gross. One of the beds had sand still on the sheets. The bedrooms were hot unless you slept with the doors open since there is no AC in any of the bedrooms. We were assured by the owner that the rental had the sufficient number of AC units in the main rooms to cool the unit. One of the two AC units was broken the entire stay in one of the main rooms (the owner told us someone was coming to repair the broken unit and no one ever came. We were instructed to reboot the electric outlet on the breakers to get the unit to work for a little bit. It only worked once and ran for 4 hrs). So the main sitting rooms were hot the entire stay. Maybe consider some cheap fans from walmart for the rooms since there are no AC units to promote air flow. The rental says sleeps 15 but there was only 9 forks and about 4 spoons. So bring your own silverware if you have more than that number. No baking sheets to cook anything in the oven. No vacuum to vacuum up any sand, only a broom and dust pan. Where are the lamps? Only harsh overhead fluorescent lights that no one wants to turn on once the sun goes down. We sat in the dark with the TV on if we hung out in the rental at night. No dressers or drawers that would have been fine if all the rooms had rods in the closet (all did but our room) and hangers to hang up the clothes. I think there were 5 hangers total if that Overall the rental is promising. Just a few upgrades have need to be made. I think this is more suited for high school/college kids than families. If you are looking for an inexpensive rental close to the beach/boardwalk and don’t mind it not having some amenities then this rental is for you. The couple of times we did have to contact the owner she always got back to us right away.

Sleeps a lot of people

The place can accommodate a lot of people and is in a good location. It was clean and nice. There was only AC in certain areas of the house and not in the bedrooms so it was hot sleeping at night. We have a few things fall off the wall that were just not installed properly. The landlord was very easy to communicate with and took care of everything for us.

Hello,

My name is Carlton Carter Jr and I, along with my family, will be your host when you book a stay at the "Carter's Wildwood Rentals". This home was the idea of both me and my mother, Mrs. Gwendolyn Carter. I was a collegiate athlete that had an opportunity to travel the world after college. I lived and played in countries such as Cyprus, Germany, Hungary, China, Bosnia, and Croatia. Through my travels, I always talked about the great time I had in Wildwood, NJ, as a young man. I decided that the Wildwood experience was something I wanted others to have as well.

Mrs. Gwendolyn Carter (Moms) is a Nurse who has worked tirelessly for people stricken with illness. She dedicated her time/vacation doing activities, such as Operation Smile, where she would be part of a medical team that would help people, especially young children with cleft palate. She has a big heart and is a very caring person.

As your host, I also wanted to introduce my extended family who will also be a point of contact. Assisting me with Host duties will be Jorida and Nori. Both have been helping with the property for the last few years. One of us will be available to assist you when you stay with us.
