The property was great for a weekend getaway and perfect for a small family or 2 couples. It's in a great location & convenient to stores and entertainment. Very easy check in process and the Fireside Chalet staff were very friendly and helpful. We did have a slight issue with parking only because of the slope of the driveway. We parked in the designated spot up from the chalet on level ground but had to walk down sevel sets of steps. It made it a little rough for someone with knee problems, but was manageable for everyone else. The only other issue was the location of the hot tub. The only access is through the lower level bedroom which is great for anyone staying in that room but a little awkward for the couple staying in the upper bedroom. The main level deck was a good size with plenty of seats. We loved having a bathroom with each bedroom and also a half bath on the main floor. The chalet was clean and decorated nicely and had all the basic necessities. Over all we were happy with our stay and would stay again!

I was a disappointed in the entire place. I didn't expect it to be wonderful for the price we paid but it could have been better.The entire place is totally run down. All of the steps and rails outside are about the rot from now being upkept and painting when necessary.The parking was unreal. I do understand that it's in the mountains but that was really hard parking there and getting in and out of the car.There's not enough room in the kitchen to turn around and there's absolutely no countertops.The inside needs to be updated, painted and just refreshed overall.I think it could be a really nice place if it just had some upkeep.

The chalet has a strong odor of cat urine and cat feces. The deoderizer sprinkled on the steps by cleaners did not help. The master bedroom curtains are wrinkled sheer and had tears in them. We had to take a blanket and hang over it for no one to see in the room. There are cob webs hanging on the walls and a busted open place in kitchen ceiling, where there was a water leak at some point. The chalet definitely needs updating with fresh paint and repairs to the walls, as well as tearing the carpet out. To park, your at about a 90 degree angle pulled down a hill to park. Our wheels spun a little trying to get out on dry land.

We had a wonderful time. Hole in the ceiling. Some light switches didn’t seem hooked properly. Several smaller issues items that seem to be missing maintenance upkeep. Our service animal was comfortable. Didn’t like that the townhome next door can look down into our hot tub. No outdoor trash cans have to drive to a different location to dispose of trash like was required of us. Driveway is not for the faint of heart and rough on our four wheel drive truck to even make. Water in the sink upstairs is like practicing for hell but the upstairs shower never got above ice cubes. Very clean. Price was right. Great location.
