Our family has spent Christmas at this cabin for the last several years. It has been a great place to stay. We really enjoy the location. We were disappointed to discover that we have to rent it for 7 days next year. This doesn’t work for our family but we will have good memories of this cabin.

This property has plenty of spread-out room. It is big and beautiful. The hot tub was a great add on. The kids loved it, and the area was nice and quiet and really pretty. Would stay again. The deck railing is very loose and needs to be replaced but that would be the only "complaint."

Apple springs home

Overall a good stay. Property needs quite a bit of TLC. There are wasp nests all around the house, deck, and hot tub. The railings are loose and held together by a ratchet strap in one area, hot tub didn’t smell or work the greatest, garage door going into house is about to fall off. But stay was good and beds were comfortable

Awesome Home for Large Groups

This home in the mountains outside of Sturgis was spacious and provided breathtaking views of the mountains and valleys through many, well-proportioned windows and doors leading outside. The location was perfect for our large family gathering with needs for scenery, tranquility, and a destination spot with lots of things to do nearby or within a reasonable driving distance. Hawks, other birds, rabbits, and deer were spotted as daily visitors. Trails and roads were close and easily accessible for the walkers and hikers. All rooms were tidy and neatly decorated. We would rent this place without hesitation if we were looking again for this area.

Great house!

This house was perfect for our family get-together. There was 14 of us all together. Kids really enjoyed the game room in the basement. Plenty of room for everyone.

I've been to this house three times now starting back in 2019. We love the house however there are several maintenance issues that have been ignored since 2019. The refrigerator pullout shelves WILL fall out if not careful. One of the patio chairs we had one of my guests fall through (which we contacted them about) the mesh seat back in 2019 and this very chair has just been tossed in a corner outside by the deck. The cable you can only get three channels so we have to hook my fire tv up to it just to be able to watch anything along with other minor issues. The main issue that still hasn't been fixed is one of the upstairs bedrooms air conditioning. It's non existent through that actual duct work so they put a portable window unit in that room. So if you turn it on it will pop that circuit off when set lower than 70 or 72 degrees. This year we went (2022) the entire air conditioning system was frozen up solid and had to wait most of the day for someone to repair it. I wanted to book this house again for 2023 in hopes that we could get some kind of discount because of all of the existing issues since 2019 and the new issues that had popped up this year like the frozen air conditioning system and the shower knob in the basement that couldn't be adjusted because if was broken but they would not honor us a discount for our inconvenience. Like I stated earlier, we absolutely love this house and love the location, however things are falling apart slowly and still issues never addressed.

Villa in Boulder Canyon, SD

The villa was large, spacious, and comfortable. There was a large deck that easily held our entire family comfortably. There was also a large yard that was great for flying kite and playing outdoor games. In the evening we were all in the living room playing family games. Nice place, we are hoping to rent it again in two years.

Sturgis Bike Week 2021

House and neighborhood were totally beautiful and at perfect location for the bike rally. It would be nice to have had bigger pot in house for cooking of pasta. I would recommend this property to anyone.

This home was beautiful and was the perfect place for our family to stay altogether under one roof. The views were spectacular from the deck and we enjoyed the hot tub, although the water was quite cloudy. The second day of our stay the WiFi and cable went out. I contacted Nancee right away and she said she would contact the company the next day. Later the following day we still had no service so I texted Nancee again. She responded by saying that I needed to contact the cable/internet company to resolve the issue. I responded by saying that I didn't feel it was my responsibility to have to be on the phone for an hour to try and resolve this when it was the last night of our family vacation. She responded back saying someone at the house needed to call them and that she was 200 miles away. Very disappointed that we didn't have cable and internet throughout most of the stay and that no one was able to assist us with this issue. All in all we enjoyed the stay in the beautiful house but giving 4 stars because of the technical issues.

Great place for a family get together!

Amazing house, location and perfect size for a family get together of 20 people. There were more than enough sleeping arrangements for all of us. Had everything we needed! The hot tub was a fun activity as was the foosball table and poker table. Perfect house to celebrate our dads 70th birthday! Thank you so much!

Great House

House was wonderful for our family birthday celebration weekend. Everyone enjoyed the openness of the floor plan but having their own areas to retreat too. Housed our two families comfortably around 14 of us stayed. I would rent again if we ever decide to do another get together in SD we will try and rent this house again. Great location to interstate and Deadwood.

50th Anniversary celebration!

Beautiful views, clean, roomy, & comfy. We had 13 family members together celebrating mine & my husbands 50th anniversary. Brought our Ranger and 4 wheeler out, and there were trails close that we had fun on. Had plenty of room and just had a good time. Would DEFINITELY stay there again!

Large home with great location but was looked and felt like a rental at a very steep price

Loved the location but house needs some work. Mattress’s were all very worn and sloped to the middle. Jacuzzi cover was so waterlogged you could barley lift it.

Good getaway

This place has a perfect location between Sturgis and deadwood. There are plenty of rooms and spacious. Was a little disappointed with some of the TVs not working in the bedrooms and needed a little general maintenance. (Lightbulbs out, TVs, dusty ceiling fans). We are not real picky people so the house served us perfectly for our weekend getaway. The hot tub was awesome and the over all house was great for what we needed. We would rent it again, just recommend some upkeep maintenance to it.

Great house for a large group

We had 10 adults and 8 kids. There was plenty of room for everyone. We cooked nearly every meal in the kitchen. It is a great location.
