Days on the Dock was wonderful for our family of seven adults and one toddler.
Our initial impression was of the orderliness and cleanliness of the home. We loved the linen service's comfy sheets and plush towels. The plentiful, comfortable mattresses were wonderful. The bunk bed tended to be a little noisy with movement - probably something that tightening up could prevent.
The kitchen was well stocked and large enough to adequately handle our group. The filtered water pitcher was a nice touch. The icemaker quickly made fresh ice so we could keep our coolers ready with chilled beverages. Being close to Food Lion was a definitely plus. Plenty of room in the dining space for eating and game playing.
The cooling system worked flawlessly, the walk to the dock is easier than most and the dock itself, with the shaded portion, was fantastic. Our grandson especially enjoyed the "big boy" toddler bed (his first time sleeping on a bed, being rocked to sleep on the dock swing and the large deck that was a safe place to play since there are no stairs.
Having three full baths was also great. Much to appreciate about this well-kept home. Very impressed overall. Not fancy or luxury-filled, but everything needed to enjoy quiet time as a family.
The only slight negative - for me - was the busyness of the water. Lots of boats and watercraft all weeklong. I prefer quieter coves, but other members of the family liked the waves created by the boats.
