Your cozy getaway awaits in Fairhaven at this welcoming cottage. With 1 2nd floor primary bedroom that includes a king bed, along with 2 bathrooms. Our guests will feel right at home. The living room offers an additional space with a comfy sofa bed and a twin bed for extra relaxation. Kickback, relax, and enjoy everything Fairhaven and our cottage has to offer. There is a washer and dryer as well as a dishwasher on site. We have the amenities to make your getaway feel like you’re at home!

The primary bedroom is located on the second floor and the stairs are narrow so this area for sleeping is not handicapped accessible. There are also one step inside between the front room and the main part of the living room. The beds on the first floor are extra sleeping spaces without closets and without privacy from the living room. There’s a bath/ shower on the first floor. This also requires a step up.

It is steps away from small pic Lic beach space for your use. The views of the sunsets and sunrises are stunning here. You can enjoy the, from the first floor porch or from a second floor deck space.

We are approximately 45 minute drive from the bridges to Cape Cod, 40 minutes to Providence, RI and Newport RI and one hour away from Boston. There’s a train 15 minutes away that can get you to Boston.

This is also the perfect setting to escape the hustle and bustle of more crowded city areas and just experience cottage living and recharge.

    We loved our experience here! Everything was just as advertised, and we appreciated how easy it was to communicate with our host. The location makes it a great base for exploring the area, or just having coffee on the front porch looking at the water. This was a great place for our family!

    The cottage was roomy, clean and just as described. It is a little of the "beaten path" but close to New Bedford which has some good restaurants and a whaling museum. Newport and Cape Cod are easy drives. My wife and I like to pick a spot and explore the area within an hour or so from where we are staying, rather than stay in the middle of a tourist area. Fairhaven was perfect. Elizabeth is a great host and always quick to respond. If you want a peaceful retreat, this is it.

    This is a lovely, well-constructed, comfortable house, large kitchen, and breezy windows on all sides. It also has three porches, including a large one off of the upstairs bedroom. Both the upstairs and downstairs look out onto the Bay, which is so nice. The owner is fully attentive and communicative, and makes sure your time spent there goes really well. Neighborhood-wise, there's a pleasant little beach area down the block, nice neighbors, and good meals to be had at various places a long walk or short drive away. Downtown New Bedford is easily accessible, too. And for great bike riding (or long quiet walks), there's a rail trail close by that spans the far western border of Fairhaven and gets you all the way to Mattapoisett.
