'Summer Bonanza' is a 4BR/2.5BA home with an open floor plan located in the Montgomery Estates neighborhood. The location is both central and quiet, with access to hiking trails and national forest just up the street and Heavenly ski resort and the Stateline casinos just 10 minutes away. The maximum occupancy for this house is 10 people (excluding kids 5 and under).

Enjoy spending time with the family in the living room that features ample seating, high ceilings and a cozy gas fireplace, along with a 55' LCD TV.

If you're hiker or biker, you'll love relaxing in the private 6 person hot tub following a day filled with Tahoe's abundant outdoor activities.

The family room has a 40' LCD flat screen (HDTV), PS2 player and cable TV.

Dining room features rustic modern dining table with 8 chairs, and two bar-stools. Also provided is a high chair for the little one.

Spacious kitchen with granite counter-tops, dishwasher, oven, microwave, electric range, toaster, coffee-maker (A 12 cup pot and Keurig), blender, waffle maker and much more.

In case you need to do some work on vacation, we provide Wi-Fi.

* Note: Master bedroom closet is locked from Jan 2nd - March 31st. Plenty of dressers for storage in Master bedroom during those months.

Strict ordinances govern Lake Tahoe vacation rentals. This home cannot be used for any parties/weddings/receptions. Maximum allowable occupancy is 10 people and 4 cars, enforced/patrolled 24 hours/day. Excessive noise or over-occupancy at any time of day will result in guest fine up to $2,000 (as well as any fines assessed against the homeowner). Failure to observe the NO PARTY policy will result in eviction. Absolutely no use of the hot tub after 10 PM; violations will result in immediate fine! WARNING: This home is located in a sound-sensitive neighborhood and is not suitable for large/ noisy groups. VHR Permit: 072654. Transient occupancy tax number: T64382

Great Location Easy to Access Everything

The property was well located. It was easy to prepare meals when we wanted to skip the restaurant scene. Everything you needed to prepare meals was easy to locate in the kitchen. The bedrooms gave each couple privacy and good space. Easy to park the cars. If we return to Lake Tahoe we hope this home will be available.

Had a amazing weekend staying at the bonanza trail house . Hot tub was great after a day at the lake . Everyone there enjoyed the house and fit our needs perfectly. Would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a relaxing getaway with friends and family

I have rented several homes and this by far was very kid friendly, the location is great! Close to Heavenly and near stores. Tons of dishes and silverware. Overall home was really nice!

It's clean, spacious and upgraded house. Minutes drive from Heavenly and kids enjoy the foosball and pool tables. Lots of fun!

Family and Kid Friendly

The exterior part of the property is nice! It is very spacious, has a functioning spa, sleds for kids and adults, and Safeway is less than 10 minutes away. The interior could use some minor upgrades. The owner thought of so much entertainment (pool table, foosball table, kid toys, etc) that we were surprised there was not a hair dryer and the airbed had a hole.

Family vacation

We had a great stay with the spa, foosball table and pool table. Coffee grounds were stiil in the machine. The alarm on the freezer was a little annoying. The neighborhood was very nice. loved all the trees and beautiful homes.

Wonderful Tahoe getaway in a great location

We loved staying in this spacious home near Heavenly ski resort. It's in a lovely, quiet neighborhood close to great trails and easy access to the lake. The house has everything you could need and more -- a large kitchen stocked with pots, pans, dishes and even a double oven; a large living room with a gas fireplace, TV and a foosball table; downstairs has additional bedrooms, a pool table, and best of all, a hot tub! The homeowners were very responsive to all our questions, which we appreciate. We look forward to staying here again soon.

The carpets were stained, wall damage on stairway, steps coming up had a broken board and screws coming up. We rented this because it said it was dog friendly but for a message from owner not wanting us to have a dog there. Frying pans very dirty and old. Woman’s underwear found under a sink. When we got there after 4pm check in the cleaners were still there and we had to wait to go in. Then another cleaning lady came back and brought toilet paper. This should have been done prior to 4pm stayed check in time. Remote controls for garage was not in basket. Hastle to go and open garage .

I was embarrassed when i arrived. The carpet was dirty and need replacing as well as the beds and towels. I felt bad for my fam that end up joining us. The home in general was outdated except for hot tub which was nice. Aside from that it was functional and had what you need. The price didn’t match the quality.

This place had everything! We've stayed at many cabins before and this place is the only one that is fully stocked! Plenty of extra towels, blankets, pillows, and even sleds! Love the location, just right off of Pioneer and not too far into the neighborhoods for those who are not 4x4s. All the essentials from shampoos to a fully stocked kitchen! We did not need to worry about extra garbage bags, toilet papers, laundry detergent, plenty of dishware and dish soap/detergent etc.! We were just surprised at how well we had everything extra there. The host was also every responsive! They always respond within 30-45 minutes. There were lots of toys, two high chairs, and even a baby tub! We did not get to use the baby tub because it was in one of the bedroom closets! Note to self, literally open all the nooks and crannies! They place is the place to be with families of all ages! The backyard had plenty of space for the kids to run around and play. The hot tub was a hit for everyone. They had show shovels for when we needed to clear the driveway and again, we will be back if this cabin is available for when we return. The cabin is carpeted as stated, which was not an issue for us since we are used to removing our shoes before entering the premise so that may be a set back for others.

blizzard visit

Glorious upstairs vaulted architecture with a spacious feel and views all around of the trees. Loved having the foosball and pool tables for our college kids. Wonderful garage where we could drive in with the roof box and even open it inside made the stay so much easier. Even though we had no babies with us, it was lovely to see the house was so child friendly. Warning: Navigating this neighborhood during a blizzard was near impossible though unless you had a 4 wheel drive with snow tires, due to the slopes of the streets. Would be good to warn renters in advance to prepare the correct transportation since we were often stranded during the blizzard and had to rely on hiring cabs to leave the house. The bunk bed in one of the downstairs bedrooms was completely caved in on the bottom and impossible to sleep in, so we had to put the mattress on the floor. The carpets were in disrepair so there was one section with some exposed nails that we needed to cover over with some cardboard and duct tape to prevent getting cut. Kitchen amazingly outfitted and a beautiful space to work. We had a mixed experience in terms of the host and in terms of covid. There was a major snowfall the day we arrived and the neighborhood had not been plowed yet. We had gotten stuck with other drivers in the snowbank with our vehicle just a block away at around 3 pm with my 91 year old mother in the car. When we asked if we could enter the house early because she needed the bathroom and she was cold in the car, we were told we had to wait. In the end we had to wait all the way to 4 pm at which time the the cleaning staff was still there with a little girl. My kids played with her until everything was done and she was quite cute but we had not expected exposure to a little child upon arrival. The house still had scattered toys and juice box wrappers left over from her time there. On the other hand, after we left the house on the most serious of the blizzard days, our host checked on us multiple times to offer us that we could return to the house if we were not able to leave Tahoe, which made us feel very cared for and we are grateful.

Very spacious home

We recently stayed at the home and had 9 adults including myself. There was more than enough space for all of us. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need to cook a nice meal. There was three methods for coffee which was nice to have (keurig, normal coffee pot, pour over with gooseneck kettle). Parking was very convenient. You could fit two cars in the garage and 4 cars in the driveway. We used the house as the starting point for biking around the lake. Roundtrip was around 77 miles, but the house is on a hill so the last mile will be a grind. Pool table and foosball added some nice entertainment. A few of the pockets would drop balls though since they are missing a few staples. Hot tub worked well and there were a good amount of extra hot tub towels. Overall I recommend staying here. Very convenient check in process and generous cancellation policy.

Great Neighborhood

Place was located in a great neighborhood and close to hiking. House was big enough for all of us to stay. We attended a concert while in town and the house was not too far from the venue or beaches. The home doesn't have air conditioning, so it was a little warm the first night, but after opening up windows it was much cooler the second night. We had a little hiccup at check in, but the owner was very responsive and helpful. Check in process is very easy and the information provided prior is very clear and helpful. Overall a good stay.

Short and Sweet

Great location with a short drive to anything in South Lake Tahoe. The house was perfect for our group with plenty of beds for kids and adults. The house needs some pest control (few spiders and beetles killed inside), but otherwise was quite nice. Would definitely revisit and recommend.

Family friendly home

This is a very pretty house in a nice neighborhood. It is conveniently located and has plenty of space. The kitchen was well-stocked and drawers are labelled. No opening one cabinet after another in search of things! Communication with the owner was quick and friendly. Check in and check out requests were also very simple. Our family had a very nice time here.
