Newly renovated, this ultra-modern 1BR is incredibly private and has uncompromising amenities. Situated on the top floor of Del Mar Beach Club that sits atop the bluff, you can enjoy an unparalleled 180 degree ocean view from Oceanside to La Jolla from the balcony.

The minute you enter the condo, you will naturally be attracted to the balcony facing the Pacific Ocean. When you are not watching dolphins swimming playfully with the surfers from the balcony, you can walk to the beach from the condo within a minute using the private stair access of the complex.

Alternatively, you may distract yourself with high-definition TVs in front of the fireplace In the living room and/or master bedroom.

The entire condo has recently been tastefully renovated and equipped with Carrier central heating and air conditioning. The kitchen is fully equipped with top of the range GE Monogram and Bosch appliances, including washing machine and dryer. Invited guests can always wash sands off their feet and body using the shower in the second bathroom adjacent to the entrance.

Wonderful to stay at a renovated clean condo with a spectacular ocean setting. It was exactly as listed and it even surprised us as better than expected. To have a complimentary cleaning service come in once a week is unheard of. However, that keeps it tidy for both the owner and the renter. Great idea.

Wonderful Condo

Our 10 day stay with Kirsty was excellent!!! The condo was clean, well stocked, comfortable, and exactly as described. The view is spectacular! We enjoyed watching dolphins swim past in the afternoon. Although we did not cook much, it is very convenient to have a full kitchen to enjoy breakfast and lunch. We especially appreciated that there are no steps within the unit, and an elevator to access the garage. Many units along the beach in Solana Beach do not have air conditioning. This unit does. Worth noting if you are planning a summer trip to the area. We definitely recommend this unit.

It wasn’t 5 star. There wasn’t enough space for my son and I. We were planning to stay for 10 days and left after 4. It wasn’t a comfortable stay. Host didn’t have coffee stocked. I’ll never travel without my own coffee again! It’s the little things.

Paradise- Beautiful sunsets

Everything that you could possibly need is available at this condo and at the property. Very clean, comfortable, very spacious for a 1 bedroom, great location. The most beautiful sunsets can be seen from the living room and outdoor balcony. Host is very helpful and responsive. We have rented many times in Solana Beach and this was by far the best condo we have rented. Feels like your home not a rental.

It was a perfect getaway, very cool, very quiet, with lots of amenities. A well stocked kitchen allowed us to cook meals and there were also plenty of restaurants within a 10 mile radius fir those days we didn’t want to cook.

Enjoyed my stay immensely. Kirsty was a wonder. The rental is close to restaurants and train/Coaster station. Believe when I say close, as I walked everywhere or took public transportation. Walking on the beach was of course heavenly. Had to go thru a bad spell of cold weather when the unit’s heat failed! Kirsty came to the rescue with a portable heater and set it up for me. Overall....I found beauty and peace and if in area again, will surely be asking to book Kirsty’s place again.

San Diego Sweet Spot!

To be honest, I'd almost rather not tell folks about this place so we can keep it to ourselves. Knowing SD is a fast-growing metro area, I was trying to be careful in choosing a place that wouldn't be near or in the direct path of one of the big tourist attractions. Solana was the perfect choice. La Jolla, San Diego and Carlsbad were all just a short drive away for the few times we felt like leaving the condo. And what a condo it is. We lucked out and had a terrific stay in November at Lake Tahoe. At the time, my wife commented and I agreed that there was no addition to the cabin that would make it any better. I'd say the same thing about this beachfront property. Nicely tucked away just a block from the PCH, this was a little slice of heaven. Clean, quiet, luxurious with the most stunning ocean view we've ever seen. And we've been to SF, LA, Naples, Sanibel and Captiva. Covered, safe off street parking. Spacious one bedroom with top shelf appliances. Two huge televisions with all the buttons and whistles. Kitchen was gorgeous and surprisingly well-stocked. Bed was very comfortable and we didn't hear a sound while we were sleeping. Beach gear is in the storage closet but it was a little cool for that but we appreciated the availability. CVS is minutes away, Whole Foods the same. Fantastic pizza joint (Pizza Port), one mile down the road. Beautiful, upscale restaurant Brigantine, just across the street. One evening we left the condo at 5:25 for our 5:30 dinner reservation and still made it on time! The kitchen was a blessing. I love to cook and it's not cheap to eat in the SD area. I was able to prepare several meals on site, that saved us a LOT of money on food. This was the first vacation rental we've booked that had a really well-stocked kitchen. The only essentials we purchased were salt & pepper (they weren't empty but were getting low) and a spatula as the one on hand snapped when I was using it. Thought it only fair that I replace it. We didn't have much interaction with Kirsty, in fact we never even spoke either in person or on the phone. All done by text and email. The few exchanges we had were just to confirm the dates, arrange payment and to send us the instructions for the condo. She was very friendly, responsive and I felt she was available had we encountered any problems. This place is gold, we'll be back.

Wonderful Stay, Very Quiet, Super Comfortable

We used to live in San Diego and came back for a visit. Wonderful stay with waves breaking right outside. Watched the sun set and saw the "green flash" from the deck. Great walks on the beach at low tide. Lots of new restaurants and coffee places in the area. This was just the right size for 2 of us with lots of luxury. Never heard a sound except the waves. We will be back.

Wonderful condo, fantastic location and setting

We had a terrific time! Days spent down at the beach, evenings watching dolphins (and one day, hundreds of stingrays, binoculars helped) and the sunset. We ended up having a daily tradition of being out on the deck at sunset, and it looks just like the picture! Kirsty was a pleasure to work with. We had a small hiccup at the beginning, where we didn't receive the arrival instructions, but as soon as she could, Kirsty sent them over and everything went smoothly. My only nit-pick - i would agree with a previous reviewer to say the couches are a little uncomfortable to sit on. But they worked great as beds for the 2 kids.

gorgeous view

This is a great beachfront condo in a wonderful location. Everything you need for a great trip is provided. The owner was extremely accommodating and prompt in answering our questions and needs. The only negative to this condo is the living room furniture. It is really a bed with cushions (not attached to the couch) making it very difficult to sit on. We were outside most of the time though, so no big deal for us.

Wonderful! Could not ask for much more.

We were planning to go to Naples, Fl. for an elopement and had to change our plans last minute due to Hurricane Irma. We decided on San Diego/Del Mar and found Kirsty's home. The condo had everything we were looking for and more! The Jacuzzi and Steam Shower were a bonus. There was plenty of dishware and amenities (paper towels, foil, plastic wrap, dish soap, bath soap, shampoo, toilet paper, laundry soap and so on). The walk to the beach could not be more convenient or close. Basically just take steps from your condo door down to the beach. The view from the deck was awesome and every morning and afternoon there were surfers in the water and dogs to watch on the beach. The location was ideal, close to the freeway and shopping. Just 10-15 minutes from La Jolla, 25 minutes from Old Town, The Zoo and Sea World. Heading north was a quick 10 minute drive to Encinitas and an hour to Dana Point and a little further to Laguna. You are minutes from the Del Mar race track and downtown Del Mar. I could not ask for anything more from an owner. Kirsty was extremely informative/responsive before arrival and responsive after arrival. As I mentioned, all the amenities were provided in addition to beach towels, chairs and other items for the beach. We were looking for an awesome beach view, nice restaurants, shopping, relaxation and comforts of home. We found them all and quite honestly, when we were leaving I felt like I was leaving our second home, On a scale of 1-10, I would rate this as a 9 and would certainly recommend it to family and friends! Wonderful week at Solana Beach

We could not have been more pleased with the accommodations! Lovely condo, beautiful sunsets, lovely sunrises & wonderful weather!!! The steam shower & jacuzzi tub were excellent perks. We highly recommend this property . Clean, extremely well maintained, excellent instructions & easy accessibility. So close to the Naked Cafe, Brigatine, whole Foods & the Cedris District. Beautiful condo, view and location!

This place has it all...great location on the beach with direct beach access, great restaurant within walking distance, close to downtown Del Mar and Solana Beach. Beautiful interior with countless amenities, and spectacular ocean views. My month at this condo was the most relaxed I have been in years! I will definitely stay here again.

The condo was is pristine condition. Just as advertised. You can not beat the location. If you want a laid back time head into Solana Beach and chill with the surfers. If you want to get dressed up and have a fancy night out, drive south into Del Mar or La Jolla. Overall, very peaceful time.

Amazing Property and Location

I loved my month long stay at this incredible property. The views are breathtaking and the finishes in the condo are top of the line, heated bathroom floor....amazing. The pictures honestly do not do the condo justice, once you walk in the door you will understand. Easy beach access, a short walk to downtown Solana, short walk to Del Mar race track, or a $5 Uber Cab ride to downtown Del Mar or Encinitas make this place an ideal vacation spot. The Landlord is an absolute pleasure to work with and is extremely Accomadating.

Peacefulness

My husband and I spent 7 days in this beautiful Condo, with all the spa amenities, and everything you need to make your stay comfortable, we had no need to leave the condo. From your Steam shower to making dinner and all the while enjoying the ocean. The view was breathtaking. I would recommend this relaxing peaceful condo to anyone wanting to get away. All you need to bring is the food you like! I found the property to be quiet and not a lot of people on the beach! This is the perfect location for some peace of mind! We look forward to our next vacation, and plan to stay again.

Beautiful vacation

We will be back for sure! Very easy to get around (about 20 minute drive to Sea World, Zoo, Fashion Valley Mall). Absolutely stunning views of the ocean. The beach itself very easy to access, clean, private and beautiful. The owner of suite kind and accommodating. Suite fully stocked (towels, beach gear, spices, even shampoo and conditioner!). Older building, but specific suite fully renovated to the nines. A top notch vacation spot!
