Maison de vacances au calme sur une propriété boisée à Ouray

Profitez du meilleur de la magnifique Ouray et de la nature environnante dans notre maison de vacances qui se trouve dans les limites de la ville d'Ouray, mais qui se trouve sur un terrain boisé surplombant la rivière Uncompahgre. La rivière, et le sentier de la rivière, peut être consulté à la fin de notre allée. La piscine thermale Ouray est à 15 minutes à pied de notre maison le long de la rivière. Notre salle à manger donne sur Gold Hill où la fonte des neiges crée une cascade au printemps et au début de l'été. Détendez-vous sur notre terrasse devant un bon feu ou allumez le bar-b-que et dînez dehors dans l'ombre des montagnes de San Juan. Magasin et recréer à Ouray et retourner à une maison tranquille dans les bois où les cerfs se promènent souvent dans la cour.

- trois chambres confortables peuvent accueillir 6 personnes (1 reine à l'étage, 1 lit superposé avec deux matelas à l'étage, 1 lit queen en bas).

This is a perfect cabin for all the fun things to do in ouray ! It was close to the hiking we wanted to do , a stroll to the hot springs , and just a beautiful location . The instruction list was so clear and easy to follow . We really enjoyed this place .

The location of the house was perfect. It was right across from the river so we could just walk on the river trail in to town and the hot springs everyday. We didn’t even need our car. The rooms and kitchen were spacious and kitchen appliances adequate.

Comfortable home in a great location

The property is exactly as shown and even a bit better! The house was very clean and comfortable, and in an excellent location! The view is breathtaking, and there is the perfect spot in the front yard to have morning coffee and watch the sun come over the mountains. There is also an outdoor eating space! We saw deer in the evenings and walked the trail morning and evening! The beds were clean and comfortable. This property does not have air conditioning and it was quite warm during our stay but no air conditioning is a norm for this area and it cools off nicely at night! Overall it wasn’t a problem. We would certainly stay here again! Check in and out was a breeze! You can’t go wrong with this property.

We flew up for a winter trip with the family. The house was great. Lots of great and lots to do in the town and close to many other towns. The driveway can get a little slick in the winter so definitely recommend 4wd if staying in the snow/icy times.

Wonderful Home

We enjoyed the home both inside and out. Loved the yard and outdoor seating and fire pit for evening relaxation and hanging out with family. We are two brothers who live with our families in Southern California. Our parents retired to this part of Colorado and we have visited them every year since then. They own an antique store on Main St. in Ouray called RB Horse Trader and would love to have you stop by and say hello.

Over the years we have been overwhelmed by the natural beauty of this area and the quaintness and hospitality of Ouray so this year we purchased this house so that we would have a place to stay for years to come. Ouray and the surrounding area has so much to offer. You can hike, jeep, and climb until you are exhausted or you can just sit down and watch the aspen shimmer in the breeze.

We love this property because it is so close to the amenities of town and yet you can also enjoy a bit of seclusion. Our property runs about 100 feet up the hill behind the house. If you hike up a bit you will catch glimpses of wild roses and deer. The dining room has windows that stretch from end to end giving an unobstructed view of the dramatic canyon walls.
