I generally only stay at Pointe West homes when I go to Galveston so I’ve stayed at almost all of them at this point. This one was the most run down, clean, but just not Pointe West standards. Back balcony had shingles and rusty nails that had blown off. I had to pick them all up for safety. The carpet in the master bedroom had holes in its. The front door catches on your finger when you open it and is very painful, so watch out! It’s not a bad place compared to an average beach house but if you like Pointe West, I’d avoid.

I called the number provided and sent a message /email, and never got an answer on how to get the wrist bands. I went to the beach club and asked them and they had them. That communications would have been helpful. The kitchen faucet needs work. The pots and skillets are badly scratched up making them unsafe to cook in. There is no large skillet just 3 tiny ones. The one pot that was in the kitchen, one handle was broken completely off making it impossible to lift. I had to drive back to Houston to get adequate pots and skillets. The house itself is nice, but communication was terrible.
