This is a privately-owned condominium, not a hotel room. Our rental fees are lower than Aston’s fees, and are lower than all or most comparable VRBO units at the Waikiki Banyan. Depending on the season, you may also have received a discount. You have contracted for a great unit, with a great view, in a great location for a very reasonable price. We want you to have a great experience at our second home, but we also want you to understand that if you expect and desire immediate response from hotel staff (room service, daily cleaning, immediate service, etc.) you would be better off staying at a hotel. Most importantly, this unit absolutely does NOT provide daily maid service, daily cleaning service, shampoo, toothpaste, daily toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, playpens, cribs, pack n' plays, roll away beds, blow up air mattresses, etc. Should you have traveled without personal items or have forgotten some needed items, there are many local stores nearby including Wal-Mart that can provide you with said personal items.
Details respective to the $300 completely REFUNDABLE Deposit: When booking this unit we include on-site parking for your vehicle during the duration of your stay. A parking pass is left in the unit and ready for your immediate use upon check-in. Sadly, we have had a high number of guests that check out and never return the parking pass. Failure to leave the parking pass damages the next guest that stays in the unit. The Waikiki Banyan charges $100 to re-issue a parking pass. Therefore, a $300 refundable charge is held until you vacate the property and we are assured the parking pass is responsibly returned to the unit and the unit has sustained no damage. Promptly 14 days after your departure, VRBO will release & credit $300 to your credit card on file.This is NOT a profit center for the property owner. Thank you for your understanding.
CANCELLATIONS must be made in writing to Owner. Due to the high demand of this unit and particularly within the Waikiki Banyan Towers in general, this reservation is deemed non-refundable. With that said, once the unit is paid/booked, said reservation is immediately shown as blocked off / “booked” on the VRBO.com website barring anyone else from making the same reservation. Reservations are first come, first serve.

My stay was wonderful and your condo was very nice -- you guys did a great job of decorating! And I loved the mauka view -- better than the ocean view units in my perspective because there isn't any direct sun exposure in the afternoon which keeps the unit cool!
My two grown sons and there girlfriends stayed in this unit which was very comfortable. Lovely decor, nice view and very importantly, Christian was very quick in returning messages and very patient! Highly recommend!
My family and I stayed at this apartment for 9 nights and we had a great time! The studio apartment was the perfect location close to the beach, walking distance to the beach. The apartment was clean as was the kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom sink and counter area looked recently updated and it was really nice! The bathroom fan did make a lot of noise and would periodically turn off even if the switch was still on but it wasn't needed much. The beds were very comfortable and even the pull out sofa bed was comfortable. I loved the big picture windows in the bedroom area and the living room, beautiful scenery of mountains and sunrises. We loved the balcony/lanai for hanging out wet clothes or just to sit and enjoy the scenery and beautiful Hawaii! Great kitchen and everything was practically provided for cooking and all the appliances too! Internet and cable tv with a huge tv was provided as well as parking which all of those are awesome to be included unlike most hotels where they charge you extra. Safe location for people of all ages. We only discovered a pool and spa on the 6th floor a few days into our stay so that was a pleasant surprise. Only two things I would change which would be more lighting/fan in the ceilings and less furniture in the apt to make it bigger, that fake plant was too big. Also the apt smells like a Chinese restaurant from the neighbors but it clears away if you open the windows.
Overall it's a wonderful place to stay and I would definitely stay there again!!! Thanks for allowing us to rent the apartment.
Overall it was a great deal and the unit was ok. Thank you for changing out the mattress in the pull out sofa. Our pool experience was not so great. We went downstairs early around 8:20 AM on our last day. There was a sign that read lap swim only from 8:00-9:00 AM and 9:00 AM to I can't remember was recreational swim. So we took our boys to the courts to play some ball. Around 8:45 AM the boys said they wanted to do some laps. So we took them to the pool to swim some laps. There were 3 women in the pool. 1 lady was lap swimming and the other 2 women were standing in the pool. The boys were swimming their laps granted one of them is 7 so not as graceful with his arms, but they were still doing laps. One of the ladies that was standing around in the water told my husband that the kids can't be in the water. My husband questioned her and said why? She told him that she lives in the building and she fought really hard to have 8:00-9:00 AM for only them. My husband told her that the sign states that it is time for lap swim. The boys are doing laps and staying close to the wall as possible. She then said well they are splashing. The lady that was doing lap swim told my husband that she didn't mind. When it was 9:00 AM the kids went into the pool. They were playing around and then the same lady got out of the pool and went out and brought the security guard to the pool and the security guard told us that we can't horseplay in the pool. All the kids were doing was splashing each other. REALLY what is the pool for? To stand in it and not move? Sad the kids didn't even want to be in the pool. Actually when other guests started coming to the pool she started telling them things too and everybody got out and went to the jacuzzi. WOW does Waikiki Banyan allow this kind of behavior to their guests?
Wonderful experience as everything was just as we were told. A very nice condo with gorgeous views of the city lights and hillsides whether in the bedroom or living room. Incredible rainbows throughout our stay. Kitchen is well appointed with pretty much all appliances, pots, dishes etc you need to cook any meal - which helped us save money on eating out. Beds are very comfortable and closets stocked with plenty of towels. I would definitely come back and stay again.
This condo was spacious and very clean. Nicely updated and well maintained. Location is great with the beach not even a 5 minute walk. It is central to everything you would need while staying in Waikiki. Excellent owner, excellent property.
We stayed at the Waikiki Banyan many times prior. This place was exactly as described and one of the best we have stayed in thus far. Fully furnished, very clean, tidy, and well maintained. 2 separate queen beds, wonderful A/C, great wifi, free parking, beach gear, INCREDIBLE Big Screen TV and a huge variety of cable channels to choose from. There is a nice sized pool on the 6th floor, it's very close to the beach, and has an easy access to the freeway, restaurants, and shopping galore. The owner was very pleasant to deal with and communicated with us promptly and very professionally. This property was a great choice! Can’t wait to come back and book this condo again!
