This 1400 sq ft retreat has an open floor plan, amazing views, lots of windows and two large sky lights. The living room has a gas stove, a couch and two rocking chairs. There's a small library/reading area with a glider. The kitchen has granite counter tops, double sink, Jenn Air electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator. It is fully equipped for all your cooking needs, also has a coffee maker, blender, waffle iron and toaster.

The bedroom has a very comfortable King bed, dresser drawers, a large two-person swivel chair and a gas stove. The bathroom is very roomy, has maple counter tops and a custom tile shower.

You can enjoy the outside on our large wrap around deck that provides amazing view of sunrises, sunsets, and star gazing. There is a gas grill, two comfortable chaise lounge, a small teak table and chairs and bench seating.

Ideal home base for all your vacation activities, including day trips to Mesa Verde National Park, Hovenweep National Monument, Canyon of the Ancients, Dolores River Canyon, Durango/Durango Silverton Train, Ouray/Box Canyon Falls, and Telluride, just to name a few.

Enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the San Juan Mountains in the fall, winter skiing, snowshoeing and ice fishing out your back door. Walking paths around Summit Lake and through our forest and meadows.

Delicious food and beverage can be found at our local restaurants in Mancos and Dolores....10 minute drive, and a few more choices in Cortez, just 20 minutes away. We are 45 minutes to Durango, 90 minutes to Telluride, 2 hours to Moab, 2 hours to Pagosa Springs.
