Located only 150' from the beach and directly across from the beach access boardwalk on highly desired Ocean View Drive, this vacation home offers plenty of outdoor fun, plus all the comforts and conveniences of home.

When you're not out dining shopping, and enjoying amazing sights and scenes, your home base provides a great space to relax and unwind. Outside, there are charming decks, a private hot tub, a basketball court, and a park-style grill for warm-weather barbeques. Take a refreshing dip in the shared pool throughout your stay.

The main level offers an airy space with high ceilings and natural light, the perfect environment for leisure. Settle into comfortable furnishings amid the quaint decor and warm hues and enjoy your favorite shows on the large ROKU TV. There is a cozy dining space for gatherings, a formal dining table, and bar seating for sharing meals prepared in the unique kitchen with major appliances and a coffee station for early risers. On this level, you will also find a foosball table - perfect for more fun.

There are six bedrooms to choose from, all of which offer comfort and quality linens. The primary room is a true delight and has deck access and an ensuite bathroom with a jetted tub and double vanity.

Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details around this facility will be shared in your check-in email and during the check-in process. The club is typically open Mid-May to Mid-October, depending on weather.

Location of this home is great as it is directly across from the beach path. Pleasant surprise that the beach access did not have steps like other parts of OBX. Short drive to stores, shops and community pool. Kitchen was well stocked. Home was not the cleanest upon arrival (sand in the beds) and the wi-fi was spotty at best. Overall we enjoyed the house and our first trip to Avon!

Location is everything!!

Fall Fishing Trip

The house was great for a long weekend fishing trip. Driveway is a little tight, but we managed to make it work. Kitchen is well stocked and great living space to wind down in the evenings. Would recommend this house!

A home away from home!

This property was a gem! It really fit our families needs and made us feel truly comfortable. Each room was comfortable and not overwhelming. Our children's ages range from six to 27 years of age and everyone found it to be just what they needed. We would definitely return again!

House was great! Perfect location to the beach, big enough to accommodate 10 adults comfortably. Only thing to be mindful of is the parking is tight if you have bigger vehicles. We made it work, no issues. All in all we had a great vacation!

Overall great stay!

The house is perfectly located to public beach access with a few minute walk. This house is spacious and perfect for my family! Only downside, is that the cooktop unfortunately had only 2 functional burners. I placed a called to the realty company, but sadly no one ever came to repair the stove.

Beautiful Hideaway!!

The whole family enjoyed this house!! The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen I have seen in a long time. We love to cook at home and we needed nothing, it was wonderful. Sunrises and Sunsets were the best. The trip to the beach was very straight forward, no up and down steps once you got to the beach!!.So very convenient to everything and very relaxing. Tucked back out of the way!! Everyone was very pleased. The carpet looked brand new. So clean!!!. Wish we could stay there again but we will need more bedrooms next year but if something changes between now and then I would rent again--over and over!! Thanks for a very relaxing week at the beach we everything we needed.!!

Great location, house disappointed!

Location is great but house is needing updates and maintenance. Towel rack in bathroom fell off the wall. Fridge on first level doesn't cool well, the upstairs fridge is falling apart (drawers are propped up with wood shims and are very difficult to open and close) and the stove, some burners barely heat and it was very dirty. The entire house was so dirty we were unsure if it was ready for us. When we removed sheets the last morning, we discovered a bed had vomit on the mattress pad. The grill was out of gas so I had to pay for a tank exchange. Generally, we liked the house but we were disappointed in it based on what we paid. This is the first time Hatteras Realty disappointed us. The house is for sale so I think the owner has just stopped maintaining it. Finally, pictures need updated on website. We chose the house partially because the easy beach access including the boardwalk directly across the street and the wooden steps over the dune. We have a family member with significant mobility issues, but the steps over the dune have been torn down and the pictures don't reflect that.

The layout was nice but...oh my...the issues. Won't be staying here again

This was our first time staying in a property run by Vacasa, but our 3rd time in the OBX. Let's start with the good. - The layout of the home was great - Distance from the beach was perfect Now let's get to the bottom of the poor review - When we arrived, the house was dirty -- Sheets had not been changed. Multiple bedrooms had beds covered in human hair that required us to strip our beds and sleep on our beach towels. -- There were long black hairs in the ice cube tray -- An orange sticky substance was on the counters in the kitchen -- Trash in some of the bathrooms had not been taken out -- We found sand and grime in bedrooms and bathrooms -- The first and second glass we pulled out of the dishwasher were chipped - A few things did not work when we arrived and more things kept going wrong -- There were only 4 towels when we arrived in the house for 10 people and it took a full 24 hours to get them. We called ahead to verify they were bringing towels and we still didn't have them -- The internet went in and out for all devices (ours and the TV's in the house) the whole time we were there. FYI, the remote in the annex room upstairs was never found. -- A smoke alarm in the bedroom downstairs went off in the middle of the night. After ensuring there was no smoke anywhere and no bad smells, we replaced the battery and the alarm went off -- Multiple outlets in the master bedroom and one of the middle bedrooms would not consistently charge, and when they did, would heat up wall plugs. I really believe there is an electrical issue in the house -- The dryer stopped working two days before we left. The guy who came to fix it told us "hit it hard on the bottom of the door to get it to work" -- The hot water would not always heat up, even when nobody had used the shower. This was happening all week and we just assumed it was kids in the shower too long, but we woke up the day before we left and fussed at them and they told us none of them had been up yet, so nobody was in the shower
