New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests.

Enjoy a canal-front getaway that is full of peace and serenity at Sea Schulz. You'll have access to a floating boat dock for swimming, kayaking, and boating, while beach access is within easy walking distance! This lovely house features a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, and other small appliances. There is also a nice dining and living area for everyone to enjoy! Other amenities include central air conditioning, a private washer/dryer, ceiling fans in all rooms, a covered porch with rockers, enclosed outside shower.

*This dock at this home is 15 feet. The water at low tide in the canal varies, but maneuvering a boat should be easy (if the boat isn't too large). No ropes or buoys are provided. Guests may swim in the canal!

Family fun at Holden

Holden Beach is our family's favorite! We have been coming for 30 years. We always stayed at a home owned by extended family. It was sold earlier this year so we were pleasantly surprised to find the Sea odyssey. We loved its roominess and layout for our family. It is dated and shows the wear of many wonderful beach summers but we had a great week!

Fun at our favorite beach!

We have been coming to Holden Beach for 30 years. It is our very favorite! Up until this trip we were able to stay at a wonderful house owned by extended family. But it was recently sold. We were pleased with the Sea odyssey. Definitely has weathered many summers and is showing it's age. Although outdated we loved its roomy floor plan and beach accessibility. Our family of 10 ( grandparents children, and grandchildren ) had a wonderful time!

Family friendly beachfront house

We enjoyed our stay in this old style beach front house at Holden Beach. The house is well loved, well equipped and was very comfortable for our family vacation. Our only complaint would be the quality of the mattresses and linens, but we would definitely stay there again.

Very good beach vacation

The location is great. The major appliances (stove, dishwasher) are a bit dated but serviceable. The lack of streaming apps on the TV limited our evening entertainment. But overall it's a really enjoyable place to stay on the beach for a week.

Comfy, older beach house

Our family had a wonderful time at Sea Odyssey! There are ample bedrooms, large table to dine together, and the kitchen had most of the things we needed for cooking at home. We all loved the enclosed outdoor shower which is always a feature we want at the beach. The home is definitely older, as well as the furnishings, but it has a classic Holden Beach vibe!

Great place for the price

Good proximity to the beach. House and parking are large enough for a decently sized group trip. Plenty of seating in the living area and the table was big enough for a full group meal. Outdoor shower was an unexpected plus. The three bathrooms are very nice for a large group. The home is older but in fairly good condition and pretty clean.

Family vacation

Loved the space of this big old ocean front house. We do a family beach trip with kids, spouses, & grandkids every year. This place was perfect with lots of seating to enjoy a movie in the living room and table space big enough to seat all 9 of us for dinner or a family game night. Also loved the porch and rockers. This was our first trip to Holden Beach and we loved it.

Very Enjoyable

Our week at the beach at this house was very enjoyable. The house and all its amenities met all of our needs very nicely. Even though it's an older style beach house and could use some cosmetic sprucing up (i.e., new paint outside on the house would be nice), it's a very comfortable, homey house that has clearly stood the test of time well. Our group (family) had no complaints and would recommend staying there.

Sea Odyssey

This house was perfect for our family of 7. My grandparents had a beach house for many years and sold it. Sea Odyssey was like stepping back in time, it felt and smelled like my Grandparents old home. The decor is dated and it could use minor updates but it reminded me of old HB, even though HB hasn't changed much in the years we have been going. Linens were provided for us but we brought extra blankets to cover couches and snuggle with. I would only recommend the owner stock 1 or 2 new frying pans. We really had no complaints, there was plenty of room, and we were comfortable. We hope to come here again!

I need a receipt for my fees

Price was good for condition of property mgt. Property Management was terrible could not get in for over an hours due to door issues with lock and contacting vacasa. Everything was done by text over cell phone finally reached person who took forever making us go through the process we knew would not work and you really could not use locks or keys for the house.

Unfortunately

We arrived at the property and noted the lack of upkeep almost immediately. Additionally the upstairs bathroom leaked into the kitchen light fixture. We called the emergency number and never received a call back. The longer we stayed the more work we noted the home needed. Not to mention that you could literally feel the house sway!

Home away from home

Great place to stay, very spacious and comfortable. 4 bedrooms upstairs, 1 downstairs across from downstairs bath. 4 adults and 5 children stayed here very comfortably, and everyone had their own beds except my husband and I, who took the king bed. Vacasa could consider increasing the capacity to 14 or 15. Add a sleeper sofa and consider the queen beds as 2-person. Also upstairs storage room could be converted to a nursery. The porches are amazing! Beautiful scenery from that vantage. Absolutely pleased with our stay; the appliances are quick and convenient, the warm-water exterior showers are nice. The house needs some minor repairs resulting from the age of the home, but we reported them and it’s nothing huge, therefore 5 stars.
