About the property

This Is The Place To Stay On The Mountain At Big Sky, Mt

Cedar Creek is an attractive, extremely quiet and well managed condo complex, only a hop, skip, and jump from all of the exciting activities at Big Sky Resort. Hiking trails nearby include Beehive Basin, rated one of the top ten best trails....or just walk across the road and take a stroll through the woods, where you are likely to spot our local moose and her calf. Walk over to The Cabin, an upscale gourmet restaurant where both food and service are excellent or visit the cafeteria in the Mountain Mall, where you have a selection of lower priced treats, or dine at any of a number of affordable restaurants. Go shopping in the newly remodeled Mountain Mall where you can find something for everybody back home....at off-the-resort prices. In the summer, zip down the mountain or ride the tram to the top of Lone Peak where the views are spectacular and will have you saying 'this is too beautiful for words' to your favorite friend.....cell phone reception is excellent, all over the mountain....and you'll be so awe-struck you'll want to call all of your friends....beginning the moment you arrive. The slopes range from double black diamond runs that cause the heart of even an expert skier to skip a beat...or you can ride the magic carpet and ski down the gentle bunny slopes....Big Sky offers the biggest skiing in America and Cedar Creek offers the most attractive, comfortable, and affordable place to stay on the mountain. There is free parking and a private ski locker. After a challenging day on the slopes....no lift lines so you get to ski more....sink your tired body into the hottub on your private patio while the burgers, steak, fish, or fowl sizzles on the gas grill. The unit has a SmartCode lock and you select your own entry code....no keys to lose. Book this unit and you'll be raving to your friends about it...but only after you book it for your next ski or summer vacation to ensure you get the dates you want ;-) Come stay with us!

Another favorite place to eat is down in the meadow at The Riverhouse...beautiful view of the river and the food is reasonably priced and yummy. If you enjoy Chinese food, the perfect place to go is in the Town Center to a place called The China Café....family owned and operated. If you're ready for something a little more upscale, make a reservation at Bucks T-4. You can get most of the local restaurant information by going to Big Sky Resort's web page, under activities, under dining. And if I've not told you what you want to know about Big Sky in this ad, you have my number and email....just contact me and ask.

Would definitely return

  • 5 of 5

This apartment is very comfortably appointed, with everything you need for your vacation. We have stayed at a variety of apartments over a number of years (including another one in the same complex). We especially liked the quality of the consumables provided (great shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry products, dishwasher tablets and very soft toilet tissue!) Add to this the little extras like chocolate and we loved it. We did encounter a maintenance issue and the big advantage of VRBO was that the owner was local and able to respond quickly to provide a solution. All contributed to an extremely convenient and comfortable stay for a skiing holiday.

Owner's Response: Bob & Alison: We had another guest from the UK staying with us as the same time you were here and all of you were delightful guests and great sports about the snow conditions. I can control the type of Shampoo and toilet tissue I put in the units but Mother Nature has a way of ignoring my fervent requests for snow! We work hard to ensure things our guests need are available so that you don't have to buy a lot of stuff like sugar, flour, coffee, creamer, toiletries, detergents, etc., since nothing comes in sizes for just a few days. I hope your trip back to York was safe and that you took a lot of memories home with you. Please keep us in mind if your travels bring you back to the US. If your schedule permits, a little earlier in the year the slopes typically have great snow conditions. Again, thanks so much for choosing to stay with us and for taking time to tell our potential guests about your experience in this unit. We work diligently to earn these excellent reviews. Billie

A great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

Our spring skiing trip to big sky was a little bit slushy at times, but the accommodations did not disappoint! Amazing proximity to the Mountain village, only a short 8min walk through the free parking lot to the mountain village center. The condo was comfortable, very well appointed with so many additional supplies that we didn't expect (like coffee!). The hot tub was AMAZING after a long day of skiing, and the ski locker very convenient. The "ski in"--during non-slushy ski conditions-- would be very convenient. For us the amount of polling needed due to the very sticky snow became a little too much by day 4 of skiing. However if you don't want to ski in, it's literally a 1 min walk to the bus pick up for the free skyline bus to the village. A fabulous place to stay for the great price!

Owner's Response: Rebecca: Thanks so much for choosing Unit 41 for your few days of skiing before starting your residency program over at the Medical Clinic. We really appreciate your taking time to review your stay....your words have a greater influence in a future guest's decision-making process that anything I can say in an ad. If your travels bring you and your family back to Big Sky, please keep us in mind! Sincerely yours, Billie

Hard to beat

  • 5 of 5

Very cozy accommodations, easy to ski to, and less than a 5 min walk to the edge of the parking lot to take advantage of the brief shuttle ride to the base area (probably faster than the ski out option and the slow, small lift across the street). Nice functional kitchen, comfortable bed, great hot tub and really everything you'd need for the week!

Owner's Response: Thanks so much for your comments. Hope Bill enjoyed his conference at the Yellowstone Center and that you'll both come back to ski next year. Big Sky provides the absolute best skiing in America with great options for all ages and abilities, from first-time out there to the skiers who head straight for the tram. We know you have choices in where to stay and are blessed you opted to stay here at Cedar Creek in Unit 41. Billie

Owner's Response: Thanks! Our units are indeed reasonably priced, conveniently located, and comfortable. By providing most things a guest needs, such as sugar, flour, spices, coffee, tea, Pam, all detergents and paper products, shampoo and conditioner, etc., it saves both time and money for short-time visitors. Hope your travels bring you back to Cedar Creek sometime in the future! Billie
