The property was spacious, clean, and well-supplied. The host was pleasant and communicative. The location was convenient. The price was reasonable. Parking was plentiful. I have no complaints - this stay was a positive experience!
We absolutely loved this house!!! The host was super hospitable and made it clear that if we needed anything he would get it! We can’t wait to stay again next year!
We greatly enjoyed this property. We had 12 guests and there was plenty of space for more guests. We were in town celebrating a 21st birthday with the entire family and was able to spend great quality family time together. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. Property is close to main attractions including the Pearl district. Plenty of parking. Dog friendly. Host was great and communicated well with us. We definitely will stay here again.
This beautiful old home on a quiet street was beautifully decorated with high ceilings and felt peaceful and relaxing. The home was located within minutes of everything we had on our agenda...the Pearl District, the Botanical Gardens, the McNay and multiple wonderful restaurants. This made for easy driving by out-of-town guests. We had nine people and there was room for everyone. We didn't cook in the kitchen but did bring in food and had plenty of room to put out a spread. The kitchen was well appointed, with seating at the island, and the formal dining table could easily seat 10. The host was responsive and very helpful. The check-in process was easy to understand, and the check-out process was clearly explained and uncomplicated. We had to change the dates on our original reservation to a couple of weeks later, and the host helped us accomplish that without difficulty. It was a lovely weekend for everyone.
Back patio door was unlocked Bedroom bathroom door will not close has to be lifted to close and lock. Dining room chairs were all stained. There was hair in the shower and bathroom. The auto toilet back panel was open. There were Cobb webs on the curtains connecting to the lamps. The fireplace mantel was very dusty. The yard was lacking maintenance. The chairs were rusted. The house and location is great. There just need to be better maintenance. There was also just one towel per guest. I feel that I had to communicate this so it can be addressed and better serve for future guests. Thank you, this house made it possible to celebrate my 70th birthday my granddaughter first birthday and my 46th wedding anniversary with all my out of town and state kids.
Very cute clean house, we loved the living room and dining space. This house could have very comfortably accommodated a much larger family (7 couples or more) and the back house was perfect for an additiinal couple with a young baby.Host was very helpful and communicative.
This home was such a lovely place to stay! We were close to everything! The house itself was extremely clean and comfortable. The owner was very accomodating and easy to work with. I would absolutely stay here again!
