Sawmill Creek Chalet
This finely crafted, quality home is a short walk to the snowflake lift and has ski-in access via the Four O’ Clock ski run. The 3 BR, 3 ½ Bath home is located just 2 blocks above Historic Main Street of Breckenridge on Sawmill Road. The location provides access to all ski lifts, downtown Breckenridge and the Free ride shuttle route.
The beautiful, mountain and southwest inspired décor boasts large windows, vaulted ceilings and open design. The 1,995 square foot chalet features a living room focused around a decorative, slate rock gas fireplace, creating a warm, cozy space. It invites après ski gatherings for friends and family to enjoy time together away from the distractions of every day concerns.
The full service kitchen features granite countertops, all the new appliances necessary to enjoy a home cooked meal in the comfort of your mountain get away.
A mission style dining table with seating for eight, along with four bar stool kitchen dining, provides ample dining space for large groups.
The main level master BR features a master bath with 2 sinks and a full size jetted bath tub and separate shower.
The loft upstairs affords an overlook to the living area and desk with wifi available. There is a side chair with excellent lighting and a library of books for readers of all ages.
The upstairs hosts a second BR which is decorated in mountain décor, has vaulted ceilings, queen size bed, side chair and full bath.
The third bedroom, located upstairs, hosts 2 bunk beds for comfortable sleeping for 4 and a separate full bath with shower for your convenience.

This is your place to unplug and spend quality time together. Enjoy the library of books, movies, games and puzzles. A concert upright piano affords music making opportunities for special memory making, especially at the holidays.
There is a large south-facing deck off the dining area for grilling, gathering and taking in the sunsets on Baldy Mountain after an invigorating day on the slopes. Enjoy a cup of hot chocolate or a glass of wine while watching the skiers coming down the 4 O’ Clock run at the end of your day. The sunsets and moon rises are also something to behold.
Jeff and Mary Beth Cross enjoy spending time in the mountains with their boys. They love to ski, hike, bike, fish, ice skate and take in the general splendor of their mountain playground. Jeff grew up in Golden, Colorado and Mary Beth is from Green Bay, Wisconsin. They are living their dream of raising their two boys in the Rocky mountains.

We feel the location of the Sawmill Creek Chalet is ideal for all of the opportunities the Town of Breckenridge affords, as well as easy access to the activities folks come to the mountains to do.
Minimal to no driving once you arrive at the door. 7 min walk to town for shopping and Riverwalk concerts and events
My family stayed at this very convenient ski home. It was very well stocked, great layout, and comfortable for our family of five. We especially liked the proximity to the Snowflake lift, which was about a 3 minute walk going out and ski right to the front door coming back home.

Great place, just what we wanted. Ski-in, walk-out. Only about 200 yards to the slopes. Close to town. Nice and clean and very comfortable. Mary Beth was very accommodating.
Our third trip to Breckenridge and this was the ideal location, very central and accessible and what a great free standing home. The covered garage was a great plus as it was very cold and snowed a lot during our stay. Lots to do in the house (games, entertainment, piano, foosball) and close by (gondola, restaurants, bus, groceries, ski rental, ski lift, shops etc). Very well cared for home and skiing to the doorstep cant be beaten. Foosball in the mudroom was a big hit with our sons. We will definitely be back. Mary Beth is a great resource. Four O'clock Run Lodge really made our trip memorable!
Overall wonderful layout, amenities, condition, location in resort. Only small downside is minimal family room lounging area. More couches/chairs and smaller table would be great.
We loved the Four O'clock Run lodge. It was a beautiful home, clean, well appointed and comfortable! And I think it even had heated floors. It was spacious enough for our family of 4 and our beloved nanny! The location is pretty perfect, right on the 4 O'clock run. Allows for ski in and ski out, sledding and even some ski lessons (me with my 4 year old daughter.) We saw a large fox and 3 moose right near the house. Mary Beth is very nice and professional and was lovely to work with. I have to say again that many rentals I have been in have not been very well taken care of. This was the opposite, it was extremely clean and everything was new and up to date.we would do it again!
We were sort of in a bind trying to locate a house for our party of 9 adults. We came across this listing. After working with the gracious owner, we were able to book at a rate that beats most other houses in the area. The house was very well taken care of. The location was perfect (5 Min walk to Snowflake lift, 10 min walk to Main Street). The owners were incredibly accommodating in our case. This house ideally would sleep 8 adults comfortably. We made it work with the available inflatable bed. Would def. rent this house again next season!
