About the property

2 Bedroom, 2 Bath Condo (Sleeps 4-8) with 4 Transferable Ski Passes at 3 Resorts

This third-floor, 1260-square-foot condominium is located on the shore of Lake Dillon in Point Dillon Condominiums which are next to the Dillon Reservoir dam. The large deck with southern exposure has spectacular views of Lake Dillon, the Peak 10 range, Keystone mountain and the sky. There is a bike trail adjacent to the property that is part of a paved trail system that runs to Keystone, Breckenridge and Vail.

In addition to a queen size bed in the master bedroom and 2 extended twin size beds in the second bedroom, there are 2 queen size pull out sofas in the family room.

Underground parking and an elevator provide easy access to the unit. The four ski passes permit daily free skiing at Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, and Breckenridge. Short distance to shopping center and five minute walk to downtown Dillon. The unit is professionally cleaned before your arrival and after you leave. Pets are not permitted.

We prefer full-week rentals from Saturday afternoon to Saturday morning, but will consider three-day rentals during certain periods of the year.

About Leah Nelson

We, Steve and Leah, grew up and worked most of our lives in Iowa until retiring in Colorado. Steve had the privilege of being a partner of Bill Bergman, one of the founders of the Keystone Resort. We, along with other Iowans, were original shareholders of Keystone International, Inc. which is the reason we have the transferable ski passes. Our family has vacationed in Summit County for over 40 years.

Leah Nelson purchased this condo in 1979

Why Leah Nelson chose Dillon

We purchased our condominium primarily because we fell in love with the views from the family room and master bedroom. The unit is located adjacent to Lake Dillon the south wall is primarily glass so, unless you lower the blinds, your view is exclusively the lake, mountains and sky. The underground parking, indoor pool, hot tub and sauna were also factors in our decision.

What makes this condo unique

In the summer after biking on the hard-surfaced bike trail (adjacent to the condominium) to Vail, Breckenridge and Keystone or hiking, mountain biking or just sight seeing, enjoy relaxing on the deck and enjoying the views. The indoor swimming pool, hot tub with a water feature and suana are also options.

In the winter most of our guests take advantage of the 4 free ski passes to ski and snow board at Keystone, Breckenridge and Arapahoe. Keystone has great programs for kids, including skating, tubing, a snow fort and ski and snowboard lessons.

Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay for a ski vacation in the rocky mountains

  • 5 of 5

All the amenities of home with plenty of room for a comfortable stay with family. Watching the sunrise over the mountains and lake Dillon paired well with a cup of coffee in the morning. The close proximity to Keystone, A Basin, and Breckenridge made for an easy commute to and from the ski slopes. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

Perfect Lakeside Location in Dillon, CO

  • 5 of 5

This condo was very nice and comfortable. We loved the location as it was very convenient. The pictures are accurate...the lakeview is outstanding. The only words of caution are to beware of the altitude (9,500 ft) if you're not used to the mountains. It took a toll on us Houstonians! Also, the parking garage has a very low ceiling so tall trucks and SUVs can't park inside (had to park my Nissan Armada outside). Otherwise, it was a great vacation! Thanks to the Nelsons for a lovely rental.

Beautiful Lake view

  • 5 of 5

Thank your for allowing us to stay at your condo at Dillon.. We had an amazing stay. The view of the lake was beautiful and the condo is very convenient to grocery store and shops. We love to walk and bike around the Dillon lake. When we were not running around, sitting on the deck to watch the changing the color of the lake was our greatest joy.

Great Ski HQ!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great visit, three full days of skiing and a day trip into Denver and back. Having the ski passes made this stay totally worth it, and the condo was perfect for a family of four. We may be back for a summer adventure next!

Beautiful paved bike trails around Lake Dillon and along the Blue and Snake rivers. With the daily ski passes enjoy skiing and snowboarding at the Keystone, Breckenridge and Arapahoe ski areas. Summit County has many cross country skiing trails. If the indoor swimming pool is not large enough, the Silverthorne Rec Center has great water features.
