Fantastic

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed in Wailea and Ekahi Village three times now, and love everything about it. We loved this unit...it was very close to the pool and beach and was very nicely decorated. We can't wait to come back!

Nice condo with great location in a quiet low key complex with beautiful grounds, well kept pools.

  • 5 of 5

Unit has perfect location just up the hill from main pool and beach access, easy parking. Furnishings are average but unit has updated kitchen with everything you need. Bed is comfortable. TVs nice with cable. No road noise and is on green belt looking at beautiful grounds and ocean view. Pools are clean, clear and well kept. Morning beach walks, runs, snorkeling and swimming within short walks. Get up early and get beach activities done as trade winds hit around 11am. We were snorkeling at 7:30 (north side of Ulua - walking distance, south side of Maluaka, north side of Makena Landing and incredible coral at Ahihi Kinau Bay). Quick bite after snorkel and hit the beach for relaxing swim and resting. We hiked the afternoons ( lava fields at the end of Mekena Rd, Haleakala sliding rock, Kapalua coast trail and Pipiwai trail). You need a car for affordable restaurants. The location was perfect for so many great beaches by heading south (walking or car) to get variety. And South is less crowded. Keawakapu beach at the bottom of the complex is a clear, beautiful Long Beach great for walks, runs, wading and swimming. Perfect until the wind picks up in the afternoon, great again in the evening. My hint - less is more for the beach. Bring your room key, leave your flip flops and towel at the pool and head out the gate to the beach of your choice. When done hit the shower inside the gate and then the pool. Never a worry about leaving things unattended on the beach. And nice only being weighted down by a key.

The condo: Perfect location, has everything you need, GREAT management and did I say perfect location. Air conditioning! The only negative Is that when living room and kitchen drapes/shades are open you can be a bit exposed if you don't close the folding doors to the bath/bed area. These don't work smoothly so easy to forget. Once we realized we simply closed them. I had to say something negative about this incredible place. Was so sad to leave and will do everything I can to stay here on our next trip. It is great. If you want first class hotels without the condo benefits just head a few hundred yards down the beach. If you want to relax without crowds in a beautiful setting with everything you need, this is the place.

Relax in well equipped 23 D with an easy walk to pavilion pool and beach

  • 5 of 5

We've had a wonderful time in the comfort of 23 D with the beautiful lani view of the Pacific and Moloini Crater. The pool, beach, and snorkeling right off the beach access are outstanding and never overcrowded as the hotel properties are.

Tranquil respite amidst the Bougainvillea

  • 5 of 5

Unit 23d has become our favorite winter getaway for my husband and me. The view toward the Molokini crater from the lanai is spectacular over the splashes of fushia and pink bougainvillea that surround the lanai. The unit is well maintained and Bob Folk is incredible to deal with. He is so responsive to any questions or concerns. We plan on returning every year to this tranquil respite in Wailea. Thank you Bob for another wonderful experience this year. Ekahi condos are located on a beautiful beach with easy access to restaurants and a breathtaking 2 mile walk along the ocean. Love the happy hour at Monkeypod Kitchen and 5 Palms.

Morning Coffee on the Lanai

  • 5 of 5

This was our first time staying at the Ekahi Village. Both the complex and the condo were fantastic. The complex is well maintained and my bad back enjoyed sleeping on the king sized bed. Our morning ritual of coffee on the lanai watching the ocean and the sun come up will be sorely missed. If you sleep with the windows open no need for an alarm clock as the birds do a great job of letting you know when the sun is coming up. The condo is in excellent shape and was stocked with everything that we needed. The gas barbecue and air conditioning worked well. The condo is within a couple of minutes walk to 2 of the 3 smaller quite pools as well as the main pool and beach. However, we tended to spend most of our time down at the fantastic beach which has excellent snorkelling. The condo comes equipped with the requisite beach chairs and umbrella as well as a cooler (which we did not use).

We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay at both the complex and this condo again. If we can maybe stay a little longer.

Mahalo Bob for all of your assistance and sorry for the late night call on our arrival.
