We really enjoyed our stay at Shane's cabin. It is a very cozy and comfortable place, perfect for a ski getaway. It is spacious and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for dinner cooking. Shane was very responsive, friendly and forthcoming. We'd recommend in a heart-beat!

The house is in a quiet area and on a clear night the stars are incredible . The house has plenty of room for my family (5 in total). It is very clean and had any kitchen items you could need. The host is a great guy who went out of his way to ensure we had a great stay. 15-20 minutes to Sunday River was an easy drive. We will rent the house again.

Less than three hours from our home north of Boston, located on a lake for great summer life, outstanding views of the mountains in the fall, and only 15 minutes from a major ski resort.

What makes this property unique

Our property is a four season location for active groups or those looking for relaxation. We are located on picturesque Howard Pond, one of the deepest and cleanest lakes in Maine. We are also a quick 15 minute drive to Sunday River Ski Resort with 135+ trails and one of the most powerful snowmaking systems in the East.
