The Wildwood Den is designed for action. We are centrally located right off the main road, meaning you spend zero time navigating dirt roads or getting lost, and 100% of your time hitting the trails, the slopes, and the local breweries



Located just 1 mile from the Kancamagus Highway and 15 minutes from North Conway, this peaceful 3-bedroom retreat is ideal for families, friends, and dogs who want comfort, convenience, and nature all in one place.

Start your mornings at the coffee bar or on the private deck overlooking the woods. Spend your days hiking, skiing, swimming, or visiting Story Land. Come home to relax by the fireplace, play games, and unwind together.

We had an awesome stay and definitely would return. The home was clean and comfortable. We wanted to be close to North Conway and this was not far at all, restaurants, shopping and mountains are nearby. The hosts Chris and Alicia were very welcoming, quick to respond, accommodating, and super friendly. We had 3 couples, we all had our own rooms and were very comfortable with the layout. Super cute. Would highly recommend a stay here to anyone whether your going as couples, friends, or a family.

We’re a family that loves spending time outdoors, whether it’s skiing in the winter, fishing in the warmer months, or simply enjoying the peace and beauty of the mountains. The White Mountains have become a special place for us to slow down, reconnect, and make lasting memories together.

The Wildwood Den was created so other families can experience that same feeling. We’ve put a lot of care into making the space comfortable, welcoming, and fun for both kids and adults, from cozy nights inside to easy access to everything the area has to offer.

As hosts, we truly enjoy sharing this space and helping our guests create their own memories, whether that’s a quiet weekend getaway, a family adventure, or a trip filled with outdoor activities.

We chose this area because it offers the perfect balance between convenience and tranquility. The home is located just about a mile outside of Conway, so you’re close to everything the White Mountains have to offer, without being right in the middle of the crowds.

What we love most about the neighborhood is how peaceful and quiet it is. It gives you that true mountain feel, where you can relax, unwind, and enjoy the outdoors, while still being just a short drive to restaurants, shops, ski resorts, hiking trails, and all the local attractions.

It’s the kind of place where you can spend the day exploring and then come back to a calm, cozy space to recharge. Whether you’re here for adventure or just looking to disconnect, the location really gives you the best of both worlds.

What makes our property unique is the experience it creates from the moment you walk in. The home has a warm, inviting cabin feel with a fun, rustic bear theme that gives it a true White Mountains vibe. It’s not just a place to stay, it’s a space that feels like part of the adventure.

One of our favorite features is the layout itself, with cozy spaces, unique angles, and little twists and turns that make exploring the home part of the fun for both kids and adults.

We also created a hidden bear game throughout the house, where guests can try to find all 15 bears tucked away in different spots. It’s a simple but memorable activity that families really enjoy and adds something extra you won’t find in a typical rental.

We wanted to create a place that feels warm, a little different, and full of character, where guests can relax, have fun, and make lasting memories.
