Esta adorable cabaña tiene el siguiente interior: en el piso principal: cocina con lavaplatos, todos los platos, ollas y sartenes, olla de cocción lenta, licuadora, tetera, utensilios, etc., tiene 1 baño completo y 2 dormitorios (uno tiene una cama queen size y otra habitación tiene 2 camas individuales), chimenea de gas y ventilador de techo en la sala de estar, y una gran terraza con vista al lago. 2 mesas de terraza con sombrillas con capacidad para 10. Hay una buena parrilla de propano para su uso, pero debe suministrar su propio tanque de propano. El piso del sótano tiene 1 dormitorio principal con ventilador de techo y una cama queen size. Un baño completo con una unidad de lavadora y secadora, y dormitorios en la habitación inferior principal que consta de 2 camas gemelas XL y 2 camas ocultas dobles XL y un patio de salida. También hay un ventilador de techo en la sala principal inferior. A / C en toda la cabina. TV por cable y reproductor de DVD en la cabina.
Afuera, cerca de la costa, hay un Tiki Bar incorporado con 2 ventanas que se abren al lago y encimeras de granito. Hay un refrigerador adentro para que usted y sus invitados puedan abastecerse y disfrutar. También hay un compresor de aire con accesorios que puede usar para hacer estallar sus juguetes inflables. Tenemos un sistema de ducha exterior muy exclusivo justo debajo de la cubierta que ofrece agua fría y caliente. Esto es muy agradable de usar después de nadar en el lago. También hay un largo muelle con un banco incorporado al final y una escalera de baño para entrar y salir del agua. En la orilla hay un columpio para sentarse y admirar las impresionantes puestas de sol. Un bote de remos, 2 tablas de paddle para adultos, 2 tablas de paddle junior y 2 kayaks juveniles también son divertidos para disfrutar y usar durante su estadía. También tenemos leña a mano para usar en la hoguera. No le cobramos por la madera, pero tenemos una 'caja de donación de leña' en la parte superior de la nevera y realmente apreciamos las donaciones para que podamos continuar suministrando la madera en el futuro. También hay un garaje individual separado para que use para almacenar cualquier artículo que traiga durante su estadía.

I do not recommend that holiday home, the attitude is terrible, there are rodents running around on the roof and along the walls, and there are a lot of them, we did not sleep well there, we left the building early for 4 nights, we needed to return earlier, they refused us. Let them be on their conscience,

Friends weekend with young kids

We stayed here with 4 adults and 4 kids (6 and under). The beach was awesome for the kids to play. We appreciated the sand toys, youth canoes and space for the kids to run around. There was plenty of firewood to use for fires to keep warm in the evenings and roast marshmallows. Overall we had a great time and it was a great place for kids to be able to play all day. Great place for a family or group gathering. Roomy. Very well equipped. Excellent beach, with lots of “toys” for children and adults. Excellent response time from owner. Highly recommend.

Relaxing beach-front haven

We always have a great time at "our" cabin! The beach is wonderful and private, and the kids (and the adults!) can play and lounge happily for hours. The cabin is clean and quaint, and we just love staying there! Always fresh and welcoming, and it feels like home. We'll do this for as many years as we can. Thank you!!

Family retreat

This property provided something for us all….lake recreation, swimming on the beach, playing in the sand, bonfire under the stars, reading in a lounger, board games, beautiful location for biking, walking, and jogging, and TV entertainment as needed. We enjoyed the close proximity to restaurants and stores in Nissea and Crosslake as wel.

GREAT GIRLS GET AWAY!

A GROUP OF SIX GIRLS STAYED HERE FOR OUR ANNUAL GIRLS WEEKEND. WE USUALLY STAY AT BREEZY POINT, BUT THIS WAS SO MUCH BETTER. WE NEVER HAD TO LEAVE, BUT IF WE WANTED TO THERE WAS SHOPING AT NISWA WITHING 15 MINUTES. WE GOT SUCH GREAT QUALITY TIME WITH EACH OTHER AND THERE WAS PLENTY OF SPACE AND THINGS TO DO. ALREADY LOOKED TO SEE IF WE COULD BOOK SAME WEEKEND NEXT YEAR, BUT UNFORTUNATELY ITS BOOKED....NOT SURPRIZED!

Summer lake getaway

Everything was just as described. Loved the sandy beach and clear shallow water! The boat house with the extra fridge was nice to store our extra food, drinks, and beach stuff. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back! Side note: to no fault of the owners or anything that hurts my review but the public beach next door gets very loud and many pontoons/boats anchor in front of this cabin with blaring music and lots of loud people. If you want peace and quiet you may want to choose someplace else. In the five days we were there it was only really bad one day.

Our family enjoyed two nights at the John’s cabin. It’s well equipped for kids and has a great outdoor set up. The water is clear, the sand is soft, and chairs are perfect for lounging by the lake. Beautiful sunset one night too. Minor things that may be helpful to others, pack bug spray, there were some biting flies one evening. Bring body wash/soap, and drinking water. We assume it’s well water with high iron, it does have a smell & off putting taste though. We had to run to the nearby store for water. The kid kayaks were super fun, an adult sized 1 or 2 person kayak would be a great future addition. Mahalo for a memorable trip!

A wonderful stay with plenty to do when the weather was rainy, windy or hot and sunny! Loved the sandy beach just steps out the door and all of the provided beach toys! Our 4 year old and teens were equally entertained.

Great stay at a beautiful location

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation on Pelican Lake. It was our second time to this cabin. The first was with friends and it was perfect for a getaway and the second was with our family and our parents and it was perfect again. The swimmable lake and all beach lawn make the cabin perfect. Spraying for mosquitos this time around was a huge plus too. Can't wait to go back again.

Perfect family vacation at the lake!

This was a gathering of family from Minnesota, Texas and Massachusetts. The home is beautiful, clean and well organized. Plenty of room for all 10 of us! The lake is clear and the beach is soft sand. The host was gracious and quick to respond to questions or address problems. We loved this location!

A great week away!

My husband, daughter & my sister with her family very much enjoyed our stay at the John cabin. The beach was great for the kids & we all loved the water. Erin was very responsive & we couldn’t have been happier. Hoping to come back next summer for longer!

The gradual walkout to the lake in sand was great! The water was so clear it was amazing! The kids loved that it was shallow for like 75 feet before getting deep. The whole family had a great time!

Great family time on a private beach

We had a blast! The kids did not want to go home, and the youngest said that he would miss "his cabin" if we left. The beach was amazing, and "our" cabin was cozy, clean, family-friendly, and homey. Thank you!!!

Amazing beach, but poorly stocked house

First and foremost, this beach is the best we've ever been to. The sugar sand shore that stretches for 100 yards out waist high with crystal clear water is spectacular. It was perfect for young kids on kayaks and paddlebaords. The outside shower was a huge bonus as well. The house on the other hand was just okay and not well stocked. I woke up the first night in the basement to water dripping on me from the ceiling during a rain storm. Water was also leaking from the doorway to the basement bedroom. The basement rooms were subsequently musty and damp for the week. When I contacted the owners to let them know the next day, they completely brushed it off which made me think this has happened before. The house was mostly clean, but my sister did find a prescription painkiller under the side of her kid's bed. Luckily the preschoolers didn't find it! Lastly, the owners skimped on little things that were very frustrating. We went to grill one night and had to run to town to fill the empty propane tank, only to use a fraction of it and leave it for the next guest. We also had to make multiple trips to town for supplies like toilet paper, paper towels and laundry detergent. The supplies they skimped on only made it half way through the week for our 9 guests. I saw the owners response to a similar review and the owner claimed that rentals always do this. This has never been my experience with any other rentals and was very off putting.

We purchased this cabin because we love this area. There is NO better lake in this area for families and for fun than Pelican Lake. The lake has so many sand bars for families to enjoy and the shallow warmer water makes parents rest a little easier knowing that the kids are safer. You can walk far out into the water off the shoreline before it becomes deep and it is ALL SAND!

AWESOME FISHING LAKE for Walleye, Northern, Bass, Perch, and Crappies....year round! Prime location for bringing your fishing boat and hooking that trophy Walleye!

During the winter months, bring your fish house with you and enjoy the private lake access 'on-site' from our property to drive your fish house out to your desired fishing hot spot on the lake.
