About Nicholas Burgett

We are three siblings who took over this property from our father when he passed away in 2006. We live in California, Arizona, and Texas so having a nice home in the mountains where we can get away from the heat in the summer and play in the snow in the winter is fantastic. As we are located out of state for most of the year, we would like to share our Mountain Home with you and your families and friends.

Nicholas Burgett purchased this condo in 2000

Why Nicholas Burgett chose Georgetown

Our father purchased this condo in 2000 when he was working in one of the local mines. We would visit him during the winter to ski, and in the summer to escape the heat. The Georgetown Christmas Market in December and the 4th of July Parade are particularly memorable highlights of our family reunions in Georgetown. That being said, the best part of our trips would be the skiing! We would start our trips with a day at Loveland to get our legs under us, and then venture from there. One day at A-Basin, night skiing at Keystone, exploring Winter Park and Copper Mountain; all were a part of our trips and the variety added to the enjoyment. Each day would bring a new mountain and new adventures.

Great time in quiet Georgetown

  • 5 of 5

The condo was great and well appointed. Loved it. Very relaxing and lots of room, since there were two of us. Thank you Nick for the use of your place.

Pros: Lots of extras left by the owner or previous guest from sugar/spices to paper towels and aluminum foil. There were lots of things we didn't need to go out and buy which was a blessing. The in unit washer and dryer were a plus and wireless internet can't be beat.

Cons: Be prepared to carry everything to the third floor yourself. There is no elevator in this complex. I about passed out carrying the luggage up. I'm sure altitude and physical fitness played a big part in this outcome. Carrying everything down was a breeze. The washer cycle took for ever to complete, but this wasn't a big deal. It was just nice to have a washer available.

The location was perfect for our needs, right near the interstate. Because it was not in season, the condos were quiet. The town is very cute, as were the neighboring towns. The only down fall was that since I am old and terribly out of shape, the third floor at that altitude with no elevator was a struggle with the luggage.

Loved the condo. It was perfect for what we needed.

  • 5 of 5

The beds were very comfortable. Everything we needed for the kitchen was there. Loved staying in one place, especially being in Georgetown. The only problem was the noise from I70 (we live in the country) but it didn't affect our stay. We were able to travel during the day and come back to comfort. Thank you!
