This property is located on the LITCHFIELD COUNTRY CLUB golf course . Litchfield is a top-rated course and is one of the eight original courses in the Grand Strand Area. It is the oldest course in Pawleys Island. Other outstanding nearby golf courses are: CALEDONIA, TRUE BLUE, HERITAGE, TRADITION, RIVER CLUB, PAWLEYS PLANTATION, WILLBROOK PLANTATION. There are hundreds of golf courses in the Myrtle Beach area.

FISHING INFORMATION:
Pawleys Island boasts excellent salt-water and fresh-water fishing. It is especially known for flounder fishing, but many varieties of fish are abundant in the local waters. This property has sufficient space to accommodate your boat and trailer. A small jon boat or kayak is a great way to fish for flounder in the lowcountry backwaters, and surf fishing is popular as well. Fishing licenses, fishing equipment, boats and charters are readily available for rent or purchase in the area and kayaks are available to rent with this property.

WACCAMAW REGIONAL TENNIS CENTER is less than a mile away.

Pawleys Island has some of the best restaurants around - bar none: Frank's and Frank's Outback, Cafe Piccolo, Bistro 217, Perrone's, Chive Blossom, Gio's Italian Kitchen, Austin's Ocean One - just to name a few. For outstanding live music, check out the P.I.T. (the favorite of locals) or the many venues on the Marshwalk in Murrell's Inlet. Dead Dog Saloon is a favorite spot for excellent live entertainment.

Golf trip to Pawleys Island

Myself in three of my buddies that were with me in Vietnam, usually plan a golf outing in the Myrtle Beach area each year. We have never used Vrbo before. After our visit, we felt very lucky to have found this property to rent. I feel it is truly the best property in Pawleys Island for golfing. It was comfortable, well appointed and in a very pleasant area.

Excellent location

We had a wonderful family vacation here and loved all the space in this house. Plenty of sitting areas for us to spread out and not feel crowded in the least. The slow drains continued to be a problem which it seems Cynthia is addressing. Overall we loved our time in Pawleys Island and the beautiful setting of this house - enjoying the trees and wildlife!

We had a wonderful time staying here. The location was great, and the home is quite spacious. Our only issues were that 2 of the 3 showers would not drain well. Also, many of the electrical outlets either did not work or wouldn't "hold" a plug. The critters around the pond (ducks and frogs) outside made awesome singing noises at night - not audible inside.

Golfer Alert!

Attention golfers! If you have a foursome traveling to Myrtle Beach, then this is the place to stay! Literally in the middle of every course on the southern Strand, you are no more that 10 minutes from any tee box. Four great bedrooms with two living rooms give plenty of room to spread out. There's a sweet outside area with chairs overlooking the 10th hole of the Litchfield course, complete with an gas grill. The host Cindy was super-responsive... this place is highly recommended!!!

Beautiful Setting with Lots of Space

This property was ideal for our family group. The dining table was large enough to handle our group, plus there was a neat breakfast nook in front of a picture window looking across to the golf course. There was plenty of seating to accommodate us all and the second living area allowed us to splinter off into smaller groups when we wanted. The location was just minutes from the Litchfield Country Club and many restaurants were close by. Working with Cynthia was a breeze! She kept me up-to-date on the aftermath of Hurricane Ian (little to no impact on this property) and made the arrangements easy for us (VRBO newbies). Thank you, Cynthia!

Our family has lived in an adjacent property in this tranquil Pawleys Island neighborhood for nearly 30 years. We have divided our time between enjoying the beach and golf life here in Pawleys Island and the mountains and rivers of our home in North Central Pennsylvania.

Why they chose this property

This property was one of the first homes built on Litchfield Country Club. The original owners lived in the home for more than 30 years before our family purchased it from them in 2012. The home was designed and built with a great deal of thought, planning, and care, with particular attention to detail. After purchasing the home, we made many upgrades and improvements while taking care to maintain its original charm. The property has many unique features that we love and we're sure you will too!

What makes this property unique

We love this Pawleys Island location because we have the best of all worlds. It is a secluded and relaxing spot, just minutes from the beach, top-rated golf courses, fishing, shopping and outstanding restaurants. And if you want all the activity and night-life that you could find anywhere, it is just a short drive to Murrell's Inlet, Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand.
