Old Bend Bungalow Rental Photos and Description

2 Bedroom, 1 Bath Close To All Bend Has To Offer

This is a completely remodeled 1920's Bungalow. The house has an old charm with modern touches. The house is surrounded by Drake Park, Deschutes River, Downtown, and Old Mill District.

One bedroom has a king size bed and the other has a queen size bed. The beds are new with memory foam mattresses. Each bed has an electric mattress warmer for the cold Bend nights. The new sofa also has a comfortable double bed pullout.

The living area has a comfortable seating area with a HD TV. There is also wireless internet service. The home has a central heating unit and a gas fireplace.

The new kitchen has a gas stove, oven, microwave, automatic dishwasher, disposal, and built in ice maker. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare and serve a complete meal. There is a breakfast bar area for two and a dinning table that seats six easily.

The new bathroom has two pocket doors to provide a private shower and toilet area. The bathroom has a heated tile floor and a heated towel rack. The private shower area is very tall with a built in shower head and a hand held shower.

Outside the new sidewalk welcomes you to a covered porch. The side and back yard are fenced and has a stone patio. There is off street parking for at least two cars.

About Tami or Craig Ellingson

Craig is a High School Athletic Director and Tami is an Accountant. Our love of the outdoors brought us to Bend.

Tami or Craig Ellingson purchased this bungalow in 2010

Why Tami or Craig Ellingson chose Bend

We have been coming to the Bend area for years and decided we wanted to retire here someday. We wanted to be able to walk to all the areas that surround our house. We love walking to downtown, Drake Park and the River trail.

What makes this bungalow unique

We have enjoyed making this house our home and look forward to retiring in Bend and being able to enjoy all that Bend has to offer. This particular location is so nice because we are 3 to 4 blocks from Downtown, Drake Park, Columbia Park, Old Mill Shopping and Theater the River Trail, the bus pick up to Mt. Bachelor and Galveston restaurants like the Lot.

Great, cozy house with a terrific location

  • 5 of 5

Cozy, clean, comfortable, well-maintained. Nice, open floor plan. Loved the fire place-it's cozy and also helps to heat the place. Heated flooring in bathroom was a plus on cold mornings! We will definitely stay here again. Excellent location. Close to everything (with in walking distance). Stay here. You won't regret it.

Very well appointed home. Kitchen had all necessities. Comfortable bedrooms and living room. Close to downtown, trails, shopping, restaurants. We pretty much walked everywhere. Clean, classy, made us feel at home.

Cute place in a great location

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is located in a fantastic location - walking distance to pretty much everything, but in a quiet neighborhood. We came to Bend to visit some breweries, and there are so many that we were able to just walk to. The house itself had all amenities you could need and it was very clean. My only complaint is the bed was a little too extra firm for me. Otherwise great place! Would recommend it to anyone!

Charming Home, Great Location!

  • 5 of 5

We had a delightful stay in this cute, cozy and well kept home! Well stocked, good size kitchen, nicely decorated living area and comfortable beds. Fortunately the weather was beautiful for our September stay so no need for heat or air. The fenced backyard was a big plus for our dog and outside eating and lounging. Location perfect for strolling downtown to browse or have a good meal. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic Bend House!

  • 4 of 5

This is our 2nd year renting this little house - location is perfect. Walking distance to downtown and very easy access to the Mill District. Fully stocked kitchen with every gadget and plenty of dishes.

A note if you're renting in the summer: The window AC unit, which is the only AC in the house, is very, very loud. We didn't feel comfortable having the windows open at night, and it was a hot evening, so we ran the unit most of the night, but it kept us awake. Wasn't an issue last year, as we came in September and the evenings were cool.

Would give this house 5 stars, except for the AC.
