This was one of the best vrbo experiences! Super easy check in- very pet friendly house but it was so clean you would think it was no pets allowed. The front yard was very cute and the back yard was private - perfect for a Hot tub. Both are fully fenced. Walking distance to town but also has some great restaurants right down the street. Will stay again!

Bend getaway!

Nicely appointed home in short walking distance to downtown, a market, and several restaurants! The home was very clean and our pup loved the fenced in front and back yard.

We had a great time. The house is cute and very well maintained. The hot tub was under repair, which was a bummer but that didn’t dampen our spirits. Great outdoor space!

Super Comfortable Cottage

Located in a great location. Did not get an opportunity to use all the amenities available, but got some much needed rest. Loved the bathroom and the yard. School nearby and neighbors were very friendly.

Fantastic location for Mt. Bachelor ski trip

This property was perfect for our group of two couples staying in Bend to ski at Mt. Bachelor. The locations is great- we could walk to restaurants, a bagel shop, breweries, everything! And the hot tub was nice after a day of skiing. Great communication from the property manager, too. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Nice place- well used but had everything you need. Location was exceptional. Primary bed was nice. Guest room bed was really uncomfortable and we were not able to use it

Great location and well furnished

We loved our stay at the west side cottage. It is walking distance to great breweries, restaurants, and the river. The hot tub is great and everything was well appointed and made a good home away from home for our stay. Would definitely return.

Beautiful Home!

The home was perfect! I was traveling alone, hiking in the area so the hot tub was delightful. The home is in walking distance to many restaurants and parks. I only stayed for one night and am definitely going back when I can stay longer. I loved that the combination to the door lock was the last four digits of my phone number so it was easy to remember.

We stayed at the Galveston, fantastic stay!

This home is across the street from the Westside, and it did not disappoint! Everything we needed was there, had great communication with the property manager Erin, and the property was central to walking everywhere in Bend! We enjoyed the river walk each day, amazing restaurants all within walking distance, all in all a fantastic stay! We will be back! 😊

Perfect place in Bend

Prime location, didn’t drive once as it is walking distance to everything you could need. Very clean and homey. Had our dogs who enjoyed the yard and SO many parks nearby. Will be back!!!

Perfect ski retreat

Our family had the absolute best time in Bend and this house was the perfect place to stay. After a day skiing at Mt. Bachelor we were able to relax in the hot tub, cook dinner and then watch a family movie. Everything about this house was easy. The one time we needed help from management I got an immediate text back from management and the issue was immediately resolved. Location was superb, with delicious restaurants right around the corner. We plan to be back next year!

A Perfect Home Base

I recently stayed at the delightful Westside Cottage with my two doggies, and found it the perfect "home away from home." Everything one could need to settle in, be it the well-equipped kitchen, the outdoor gas grill, or even a printer for one's computer, is provided. The location can't be beat, convenient to downtown, restaurants, and river trails. But of equal importance was the attention of the owners to any concern or problem. I loved the hot tub in the private backyard, and my dogs loved the secure front yard and back area. I would highly recommend this charming cottage to anyone looking for that true Bend experience..

Great House, Perfect Location

This a an excellent property, within walking distance to downtown and the river. The front yard is fully fenced with lush, green grass that my dogs enjoyed. There is no grass in the backyard, but it is fully secured with fencing as well. This house has all the typical amenities and is nicely decorated and very comfortable. The neighborhood is also very nice, and it is about 1 block from 10 Barrel Brewing, so you can hear the "party" there during the afternoon and evening - but not so loud it will keep you awake or anything like that. Overall I would highly recommend this property!

Charming Lovely Cottage in an Ideal Location

Wonderful stay for my husband, myself and our small dog, Esmé. The home is tastefully decorated, was impeccably clean, uncluttered and very beautifully updated. The kitchen was well stocked with everything one would need including a neatly presented spice rack, knife set in block, clean cutting boards and space for any pantry purchases. The beds were comfortable and the linens of superior quality. If that wasn’t enough, it is within easy walking distance of restaurants, shopping & the river. With Esmé we enjoyed having leisurely breakfasts and lunches at the many patios of the nearby restaurants and cafés. I had to work some while on vacation, so I also enjoyed sitting at the patio table in the front yard on the computer while Esmé safely explored the gated grassy yard. We enjoyed our stay immensely here. Erin, who manages the property, was promptly responsive, extremely helpful and, by far, the best property manager we have ever worked with.

Fantastic Base for Exploring Bend

We stayed five nights at Westside Cottage in July 2019. We found the cottage to be clean, spacious, and comfortable for our stay. We only used the master bedroom/bath, but the cottage would be great for two couples or a couple and one child, as the second bedroom has a queen-size bed and there is a second full bath (which we used as a powder room). The cottage is tastefully decorated, and the kitchen is fully equipped. We were pleased to find coffee beans and a grinder for our use. The cottage is well situated. Within walking distance are several restaurants and brew pubs, coffee houses, etc. Downtown and everything else (Old Mill District, REI, movie theater, Deschutes River recreation, etc.) are within a five-minute drive. The cottage has a comfortable outdoor seating area, hot tub, and cruiser bikes to use. The cottage is not inexpensive, but we found it to be great value for the money. Erin at HomeSpun was super friendly, responsive, and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

Great location

We enjoyed the Westside Cottage very much it works well for 3 to four people. We were Mt. biking and were able to keep our bikes safe with plenty of room. The hot tub was perfect after our rides and very private. The location was within walking distance of the market and many restaurants and breweries. Our favorite restaurant fine dining Zydeco in downtown Bend it was superb also close by was 10 Barrel brewery right on the corner. We had breakfast at Chows which was across from the Market they had a few items that you would not see anywhere else. Barrio was good for Mexican in downtown Bend as well as Parrilla which was at the roundabout. It was a walk in and order with great food as well as beer and Margaritas. We also loved Drakes. We had no bad meals I think those restaurants don't last long. We came from Alaska and had a early flight and Erin gave us a call when the cottage was cleaned and we were able to get in a little early. This made our day after our long flight and drive from Portland. We really appreciated the extra effort. Thanks so much Erin. Nice and clean and we had everything we needed.

Location I perfect; home clean

A wonderful location on the west side with walking distance to just about any type of eatery, bar, park, shopping, etc.... . The property is completely fenced and makes a great destination for anyone traveling with dogs. Neighborhood feels very safe and comfortable for walking, however sidewalks on some side streets are not present. Interior is clean and adequately furnished with 2BR and 2BA. The kitchen seemed to be stocked with anything One would need including dishes, cookware and essential seasoning, bags, paper towels, etc..., however we did not cook while we visited- so many great eateries just steps away. Owners were attentive to questions and pleasant to work with. All the “rules” for cleaning up when you leave seem very consistent with other rentals we have used in the USA and throughout Europe. Not sure why prior posts list this as a concern. Regardless, if you are on a time crunch, they will gladly clean up after you for an added fee- how easy! We will definitely return to this property and or one of the other 18 (approx) other properties run by this family-owned group. We love Bend and the different options to visit, the vast activities and of course, the people.

Perfect location

We had a great stay in this home. The location is perfect so close to a couple of great breweries. We enjoyed walking to dinner every evening. Home was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed and more, especially considered we didn’t cook much with all the great eateries nearby.

Great stay for Snowboarding

Perfect location! Walking distance to many restaurants and breweries, close to Mt. Bachelor, and to Redmond airport. Very clean property and had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the hot tub! We used it every day after time on the slopes. Also the beds were so comfortable! Nice mattresses which allowed us to have a great night's sleep. Will stay again if we find out way back out to Oregon!

My favorite feature of this home: the outside areas. Bend is so beautiful, all year long. You have picture-perfect snowy winters and bask in the sunshine summers. The outside areas at this house let you experience all of those wonders. The backyard area is totally natural landscaped with patio, pergola, BBQ, and outdoor dining. It's totally fenced so your dog and kids are safe too! The front yard area, also totally fenced, has a wonderful little patio with outdoor furniture and bistro table so you can sit and enjoy the amazing energy radiating off of this eclectic and vibrant part of town. It's private without being cut off... it's amazing.
