Explore the neighborhood or stroll along the Deschutes River into the Historic Downtown in just minutes, either way, you’ll quickly fall in love with The Westside Cottage.

The Westside Cottage has wonderful outdoor space with a sun patio, gas BBQ, outdoor dining area, and private hot tub. And the icing on this very tasty cake is the location on the trendy west side! Just 1/2 block off Galveston, walk out the front door and into 10 Barrel Brewing Company, Ariana Restaurant, Brother John’s, Mother’s Juice Bar, The Victorian Café, Longboard Louie’s, Ida’s Cupcake Café and more within minutes.

This is a private, standalone house exclusively for guest use. The house, grounds, hot tub, and parking area are all unshared. We have complete contactless check-in for the convenience and safety of our guests.

All towels, linens and bedding are included. We also leave guests a small amount of starter supplies including: toilet paper, paper towels, dish and laundry soaps, hand soaps, bath soap, shampoo, and coffee bar items mentioned above. We also provide blow dryers, iron and ironing board. Please plan accordingly to bring anything else you may wish to have with you on your trip.

Note: Guests who book this home will be required to sign an auxiliary rental packet with specific rules and information included, such as neighborhood quiet hours, check in and out time restrictions, and non-smoking policies. If you are traveling with a pet, you will also need to sign a copy of our pet rules.

This was one of the best vrbo experiences! Super easy check in- very pet friendly house but it was so clean you would think it was no pets allowed. The front yard was very cute and the back yard was private - perfect for a Hot tub. Both are fully fenced. Walking distance to town but also has some great restaurants right down the street. Will stay again!

Fantastic location for Mt. Bachelor ski trip

This property was perfect for our group of two couples staying in Bend to ski at Mt. Bachelor. The locations is great- we could walk to restaurants, a bagel shop, breweries, everything! And the hot tub was nice after a day of skiing. Great communication from the property manager, too. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful Home!

The home was perfect! I was traveling alone, hiking in the area so the hot tub was delightful. The home is in walking distance to many restaurants and parks. I only stayed for one night and am definitely going back when I can stay longer. I loved that the combination to the door lock was the last four digits of my phone number so it was easy to remember.

This home is across the street from the Westside, and it did not disappoint! Everything we needed was there, had great communication with the property manager Erin, and the property was central to walking everywhere in Bend! Perfect ski retreat

Our family had the absolute best time in Bend and this house was the perfect place to stay. After a day skiing at Mt. Bachelor we were able to relax in the hot tub, cook dinner and then watch a family movie. Everything about this house was easy. The one time we needed help from management I got an immediate text back from management and the issue was immediately resolved. Location was superb, with delicious restaurants right around the corner. We plan to be back next year!

A Perfect Home Base

I recently stayed at the delightful Westside Cottage with my two doggies, and found it the perfect "home away from home." Everything one could need to settle in, be it the well-equipped kitchen, the outdoor gas grill, or even a printer for one's computer, is provided. The location can't be beat, convenient to downtown, restaurants, and river trails. But of equal importance was the attention of the owners to any concern or problem. I loved the hot tub in the private backyard, and my dogs loved the secure front yard and back area. I would highly recommend this charming cottage to anyone looking for that true Bend experience..

Great House, Perfect Location

This a an excellent property, within walking distance to downtown and the river. The front yard is fully fenced with lush, green grass that my dogs enjoyed. There is no grass in the backyard, but it is fully secured with fencing as well. This house has all the typical amenities and is nicely decorated and very comfortable. The neighborhood is also very nice, and it is about 1 block from 10 Barrel Brewing, so you can hear the "party" there during the afternoon and evening - but not so loud it will keep you awake or anything like that. Overall I would highly recommend this property!

Charming Lovely Cottage in an Ideal Location

Wonderful stay for my husband, myself and our small dog, Esmé. The home is tastefully decorated, was impeccably clean, uncluttered and very beautifully updated. The kitchen was well stocked with everything one would need including a neatly presented spice rack, knife set in block, clean cutting boards and space for any pantry purchases. The beds were comfortable and the linens of superior quality. If that wasn’t enough, it is within easy walking distance of restaurants, shopping & the river. With Esmé we enjoyed having leisurely breakfasts and lunches at the many patios of the nearby restaurants and cafés. I had to work some while on vacation, so I also enjoyed sitting at the patio table in the front yard on the computer while Esmé safely explored the gated grassy yard. We enjoyed our stay immensely here. Erin, who manages the property, was promptly responsive, extremely helpful and, by far, the best property manager we have ever worked with.

Fantastic Base for Exploring Bend

We stayed five nights at Westside Cottage in July 2019. We found the cottage to be clean, spacious, and comfortable for our stay. We only used the master bedroom/bath, but the cottage would be great for two couples or a couple and one child, as the second bedroom has a queen-size bed and there is a second full bath (which we used as a powder room). The cottage is tastefully decorated, and the kitchen is fully equipped. We were pleased to find coffee beans and a grinder for our use. The cottage is well situated. Within walking distance are several restaurants and brew pubs, coffee houses, etc. Downtown and everything else (Old Mill District, REI, movie theater, Deschutes River recreation, etc.) are within a five-minute drive. The cottage has a comfortable outdoor seating area, hot tub, and cruiser bikes to use. The cottage is not inexpensive, but we found it to be great value for the money. Erin at HomeSpun was super friendly, responsive, and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

My favorite feature of this home: the outside areas. Bend is so beautiful, all year long. You have picture-perfect snowy winters and bask in the sunshine summers. The outside areas at this house let you experience all of those wonders. The backyard area is totally natural landscaped with patio, pergola, BBQ, and outdoor dining. It's totally fenced so your dog and kids are safe too! The front yard area, also totally fenced, has a wonderful little patio with outdoor furniture and bistro table so you can sit and enjoy the amazing energy radiating off of this eclectic and vibrant part of town. It's private without being cut off... it's amazing.
