In addition to The Kirkwood Resort for Skiing, Snow Park, Silver Lake, Cables Lake & Jackson Rancheria Casino, there are also wonderful quaint towns of Jackson, Sutter Creek, & Volcano w/ great shopping, antiquing, sightseeing, lights & decorations. You can also go ice skating, cross country skiing, sledding, snowmobiling or take a moonlight snowshoe walk at Sorensen Ranch, or just stay at the house & go sledding behind the cabin & then sit back & enjoy a movie in front of the fire with a cup of hot chocolate.

Great house for a large group

It was a great stay on a big property. It's worth bringing some extra mattresses if you have a group of 25. Mark and Lisa were great hosts and very gracious.

Great stay!

We had a great time here, the property is even nicer than the photos! Kitchen was very well-stocked (we definitely over-packed) and the host was communicative. Only nits are that the key wasn’t where we were told it would be and some of the furniture is a little worse for wear. Overall would definitely recommend!

Snow School Trip

It was awesome as usual. We've been staying here every year for about a decade and it is always nice. Plenty of room and the owners are super accommodating. We love it.

Comfortable Stay

A group of 12 ladies had a ladies retreat there. Except for garbage on the back deck, it was very comfortable. Lots of comfortable beds. Had to contact the owner to get TP and Paper towels as they had not been replenished in the bathrooms and kitchen. I would recommend this house for large groups.

Great house for a large group

The house is very big so it was a good location for a large group. There were lots of extra mattresses for people to sleep on. Because of how the beds are set up, this would be a fun house to bring your Girl Scouts or a soccer team. A lot of the windows didn't have blinds, so if you like to sleep in, I recommend bringing a sleeping mask. The kitchen was huge and had everything we needed to make our meals. The basement had a lot of fun things to play with.

Beautiful house in the Sierras

We had a little family reunion and we absolutely loved our stay! The house was in great condition, very well equipped and very big and spacious. We all had a great time and the host was great and easy to work with. Hope to be back soon!

Winter Camp

We stayed here with our youth group for a weekend to spend winter camp. It plenty of beds and mattresses for our students and with an open layout it never felt like we were crammed for space. We stayed here and went skiing up at Kirkwood, which was less than an hour drive. Very doable and also not too removed from Jackson which has places like Safeway if you need to go into town for some grocery shopping.

A fine property with lots of room and character. Game room in basement a delight and would suggest this for any group needing some room to stretch out in the woods. Only complaint is the shower was pretty short, but I'm 6'8" so used to it. Would definitely use again.

Huge place, pictures dont do justice

The place was perfect for our needs as a large group. The house is even better than the pictures included in the listing. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. Overall a great experience for all our guests.

1. Check in and check out process is easy and simple. 2. Kitchen, living room and bedrooms are spacious and clean. Master bed bathroom does not have lock. 3. Entertaining game room has lot of games for kids and adults . 4. Adults and kids can enjoy the summer in river water with in 30 minutes drive.

Huge house excellent for a large group.

This is our second time staying here. We love this home. Huge kitchen and living room. Big game room for kids. Many lakes nearby for day activities. Owner Lisa is great with communication.

Wonderful stay

We had an awesome time staying at the house. It was absolutely clean and spacious for our large group. The owner Lisa was very considerate with checkin and checkout times. The kids has so much fun at the house. The pictures posted in Vrbo doesn’t do justice to the house. One minor thing to change would be to add blinds to the windows so as to get a late wake ups. And to fix the lock for master bedroom. These are nothing compared to the amazing fun we had in the house. The place and the owners deserve 5 stars.

Amazing vacation home

As soon as you arrive at the property you will fall in love with the trees and the feeling of being away from everything. The home was absolutely wonderful and so much space for our entire family( and we are a big family). The family/game room downstairs was amazing for the kids to enjoy themselves downstairs while the adults were able to relax and enjoy upstairs. We also were able to take off for apple Hill and had an amazing time which was a beautiful drive there and back. Would definitely recommend this property to any family trying to get away! It’s a must stay! One last note the property and home is more beautiful than the pictures show, you will be impressed.

Family stay

I stayed here with my toddler, newborn and husband. We had a great time. The property is extremely private which is what we were looking for during this crazy pandemic. The house is really large and very comfortable. Its a great base for a tahoe day trip or just to hang out and enjoy the wilderness. I would love to come back to this great property some time in the future.

Great Stay

My buddy and I took our boys up for a few days of fishing, riding quads and eating. We had 3 boys all 11 and when we were at the cabin they spent all of their time downstairs playing either ping pong, foosball, air hockey or basketball. Place was GREAT!!!!
