Bright, beautiful, spacious and extremely comfortable, luxury upstairs condo in one of Breckenridge's landmark properties in the core of downtown Breckenridge.
It has an extremely open feel, with a large living/Dining/kitchen area, central to the property and each master suite in a separate "wing" branching off from that. This allows for a very comfortable social atmosphere as well as privacy when it is desired. It is an incredible place for a family or multi family get together.
The property was originally built in 1890 as home for a successful gold miner's Family. The most recent, previous owner's operated their store, the Bay Street Company out of the location and lived upstairs. It was recently heavily remodeled and all of the finishes were built specifically for the property from the custom doors and cabinets to specifically milled reclaimed floors.
The bathrooms, and specifically the center master bath will rival or surpass nearly any. All of the bath floors are heated. There is an extra large infinity bath tub, specifically the Kohler SOK, and a steam shower, another wonderful soaking bath, and incredible tile and stone throughout. The beds include plush pillow top kings in each bedroom, as well as 3 twins in the historic wing and one fold out twin ottoman in the Central master. It is a wonderful place to stay and enjoy everything that Breckenridge has to offer. Blue sage spa is within 30 yards of the property, the bus stop to access the entire county is across the street. There are 2 private, partially covered parking spaces.
The property itself is one of the most photographed properties in Summit county with impressive perennial gardens and plantings. It won the town Christmas lighting competition the last year they held it, and it has been on the cover of Sunset magazine more than once as well as featured in the magazine on more than one occasion.
There are countless restaurants and shops within just a few blocks. The ski lifts are an easy walk and the new Free town trolley runs directly in front of The Loft, taking you to the gondola, the Ice rink and City market.
It is the best place there is to enjoy all that breckenridge has to offer!

We are local business owners who operate the shop in the same building, downstairs. We have been in love with the property since moving to Breckenridge in 1998. Purchasing it was a dream come true and making the residence a rental is an opportunity for us to share this incredible property as well as the town we love with the rest of the world.

Why Robert Helt chose Main Street
If you come you will know why we chose this property, but if you need convincing, it is one of the only properties in Breckenridge that survived a fire in the late 1800s. While it is not entirely original, a large addition was done in the 80s, it was very tastefully done without destroying the character of the historic portion, as vouched for by our historic landmark status. We have some of the most unique perennial gardens in Breckenridge with the warmth of downtown sheltering some very unique plants that grow no where else, that we know of, in summit county. The Loft is 3 blocks from the ski lift where my children learned to ski. While the lift does access one of the best beginner areas in the west, it also drops you in an area where you can easily take the cross mountain express to very advanced terrain. The Loft is very special. It has a very unique history, dating back to the gold rush and the people who have owned it through the years have done great things for the the town and history of Breckenridge!

Amazing place, central location, Rob Helt was the best host.
We just went up to Breck and stayed at the loft at Ruby Jane. Can’t say anything bad about the place, it was beautiful, fully equipped and nothing was lacking. We had a wonderful time. I just had a spinal fusion so wanted a place in town we could walk around (but I did ski 2 days:) we had 5 kids and 4 adults and we could have had a few more guests for a night. Plenty of room and I can’t even explain how clean the Loft at Ruby Jane was, impeccable. Amazing stay will return! Thank you Rob!
We had a fabulous time staying in this amazingly spacious loft. The loft is absolutely stunning. The location could be beat. Lots of room. Nice decor. We can not recommend this property enough. Thank you Robert!

We had a wonderful stay at Ruby Jane! Enjoyed the loft. Very comfortable mountain chic place to stay! Walking the streets of Breck at night was my favorite thing to do! Short walking distance to the lift for my son & son-in-law! Groceries super close too. Would stay again and again! The mudroom area was great to hang coats and park our boots too. Great views! A home away from home!

The property was great. Highly recommend this for a trip to Breck.
The layout could use a bit of explanation.
Large island kitchen
Big 10-seat dining room table
Big living room with couch and love seats.
3 bedrooms each with king beds.
The first bedroom you come to off the landing is the smallest and most private. Nice full bath with large shower & tub.
The true master Is the the middle bedroom. It's a larger bedroom with the master bathroom.
Both of these could be "parent" bedrooms.
The 3rd bedroom has the king bed and a twin with a twin trundle. It also a has a smaller room off of this bedroom. There is another twin in there as well. There's also a nice-sized tv with a Nintendo. There is a bathroom for these beds.
This last bedroom is perfect for the kids. We had teen-aged girls share the king. We pulled the trundle mattress into the smaller room and two boys shared. Gave each group some measure of privacy.
The entrance is a door behind the Ruby Jane off the alley- under the covered parking. Plenty of room for skis helmets and poles. There's even some boot warmers. You walk up the stairs to enter the loft.
Great property right in the heart of town.
There is essentially a children's wing that works very well as long as the kids can share a room. Our girls loved it and felt like they had their own little hideaway. Very convenient to the village.
We stayed in the property with my sister's family total of 4 adults and 3 kids for a week. Place was perfect. The third bedroom and more than enough room for the three kids. The living area is super large and always nice to have a sizable eating area where even my parents joined for a meal or two. Location is as central as it gets. You can walk to Peak 9 and fall out the door on to Main street. Will rent again.
