Oceanfront 5 Bedroom And 3 Baths

White Caps is right on the beach and you will love the ease of going from your home to oceanfront. At the end of the walkway there is a short sand path (no climbing over dunes or trying to avoid prickly sea grass) to reach the white sand of Holden Beach. You don’t need to “pack for the day” to hang out on the beach as the kitchen and restrooms in the house are easily accessed.

As soon as you open the front door, you see the ocean and feel the breeze. Immediately you start to unwind. Vast windows allow a view of the ocean from anywhere in the open living area. From the kitchen, you can clearly see your friends, children or family on the beach as if they are in your backyard at home.

White Caps is open and airy with a large sitting area indoors for those wanting to talk the night away with friends or space to quietly read a book in your own corner. The covered back deck has a large picnic table and rocking chairs to enjoy each other’s company or quietly contemplate the wonders of the ocean.

There are five large, comfortable bedrooms (two are ocean front) and three full baths. There are beds for 12 comfortably without the hassle of trying to manage sleeper sofas or futons. All mattresses are newly purchased! The upstairs bedrooms have covered balconies with ceiling fans – one overlooking the ocean and the other overlooking the marshlands across the street. Each bedroom has a new flat screen TV that accesses all cable options. There are 5 queen beds and 2 twins.

The kitchen is fully equipped and there is an outside charcoal grill. The dining table seats 10 with 4 counter spots as well.

White Caps is located on the 900 block with only ocean front and second row homes. There is no public access nearby so your beach remains quiet and serene for friends and family.

Outside there is a shower as you come up the walkway with bench seating around the open sundeck. This is a great spot for everyone to gather to watch the sunset or, if early risers, sunrise. There is also an enclosed shower with hot and cold water outside.

Kids of all ages have plenty of safe areas for biking or walking without ever being in a high traffic area. Go snorkeling, build a sandcastle or watch the sunset. Come to do as little or as much as you want.

About Ronnie & Sheila Israel

We have wanted a home on Holden Beach for quite sometime. We were able to achieve this goal in November of 2013. This is the place that I want my grandkids to talk about when they go back to school in the fall and look forward to going to all year long. We have always lived in the mountains of western North Carolina, but have always wanted to retire here. Now we spend as much time as possible here on the island. Thank you for sharing this place with us.

The west end of Holden Beach is serene and seems almost untouched by the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We traveled the entire eastern coast along with the western coast of Florida and always came back to Holden Beach. This house gave us the perfect opportunity to make it our own.

What makes this house unique

As soon as we entered the door and stood looking directly at the ocean, we were sold. The sunrises and sunsets are amazing.

Wonderful beach front home!

This was our first year at Holden Beach and our stay at White Caps made it a wonderful experience! The home owners were great. They called to make sure we arrived ok and even had a bottle of wine waiting for us in the fridge! We had a couple days of rain but with the house's comfortable furniture and stock pile of board games and books it was barely noticed. We look forward to our next stay!

A cut above – we most certainly will be back next year.

My friends and I have gotten together for an annual beach trip for the past 13 years. This year was our first year staying outside of the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I have to say, after experiencing Shiela & Ronnie's wonderful beach home, it will be quite some time before we return to the Outer Banks - Holden Beach is our new destination.

The home is perfect for a party of 5 to 10 people. It's proximity to the beach is perfect with respect to the other 'oceanfront' properties we have visited. It was very nicely appointed (newly renovated, it appears) and to be quite honest, much nicer than the rental properties in which we have booked in many parts of the Outer Banks and Wrightsville Beach.

From Carova to Buxton, White Caps is unparalleled. We were so impressed that by mid-week, we decided that we would return to White Caps next year. Normally, there are one or two dissenting voices when we try to choose our next place to stay for our annual beach trip, but there was absolutely no disagreement about where we will be next year.

From the five of us, Ronnie and Shiela, our deepest gratitude and sincerest compliments. Have a great summer.

Cozy house, wonderful hosts ...

The Whitecaps was a terrific setting for hosting our summer ending vacation with the kids and grandchildren. The home is extremely comfortable, cozy and very nicely decorated. The short walk from the house to the beach is a big plus, especially in transporting toddlers. You could not ask for better home owners than Ronnie and Sheila Israel, as they take a personal interest to ensure your stay at The Whitecaps is perfect!
