It doesn't get more classically Palm Springs than this mid-century Alexander home in Vista Las Palmas, built in 1958 and beautifully updated and reimagined in the years since. Designed by the legendary architect William Krisel and nestled at the base of the mountains, this home offers luxury, comfort, and impeccable style in one of Palm Springs' most exclusive neighborhoods. Step inside to find walls of glass, inspired retro-chic design, deluxe bathrooms, an updated kitchen, and three flatscreen TVs. The gorgeous, resort-style backyard is framed by the mountains, featuring a shimmering pool with a spillover spa, a lush lawn, and space to grill, dine, and lounge in the sun and the shade. At night, you'll have four bedrooms to choose from - three master suites with a king-size bed apiece and a fourth bedroom with a queen-size bed and a private patio.

WHAT'S NEARBY
This iconic home sits on a quiet residential street in Vista Las Palmas, one of most desirable neighborhoods in all of Palm Springs. You'll be within walking distance of the world-famous Palm Canyon Drive (three-quarters of a mile east) and its fabulous restaurants, galleries, nightlife, and Uptown Design District. Spend your days hiking up into the desert mountains, teeing off at one of the countless renowned golf courses nearby, or riding the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway (six miles west) for a memorable view of the desert.

THINGS TO KNOW
-Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
-The utility deposit is $1,500 for 28 nights with $375 added for each additional week the guest stays.
•Pool and Spa heating can be purchased for an extra fee per day. Pricing can vary, depending on the size of the pool and spa; it can take up to 48 hours to heat. Please reach out prior to arrival if you are interested in adding this amenity.

AMAZING home in beautiful Palm Springs!

We've rented this house many times and each time it gets better and better. Each time some of the furniture and decor is new and we always find it very well stocked. The backyard is huge and faces the gorgeous mountains. Pool is amazing. It's walking distance to town and in the best neighborhood in Palm Springs!!

The house decor was beautiful and right on point for Palm Springs. There were some things that we had issues with. When we got there the pool and spa had algae in it. I contacted Casago and they had someone out the next morning to clean it, which left the pool cloudy for the rest of the day. A little disappointing given that we paid to have a heated pool and couldn't use it. The spa wasn't warm until the next day. The pool and spa definitely need to be resurfaced. The garbage was overflowing and even after the trash came, bags were still left in the area of the cans. Not great looking out the kitchen window and your view is of garbage and garbage cans. The A/C malfunctioned, we contacted property management and they responded again, very quickly, and after several texts about it, they sent someone to fix it that night. A few quirks about the house: the primary bedroom has shades that still allow viewing from the kitchen/dining area to the shower. The only TV is in the primary bedroom. The small bedroom has no closet to hang clothes. The drains did not drain well in the other bathrooms. The positive side is that the house is in a beautiful area and the landscaping is very nice. Kitchen was stocked with the essentials.

Enjoyed Life Here!

This is a great house in a great location. Close to town, the yard was great, we loved floating in the pool and using the hot tub at night. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking and serving items. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet.

Thankful Thanksgiving

We had a fabulous family vacation in the Rise house. Great location for daily walks . The setting is spectacular with the views of the mountains while sitting poolside. We hope to do it all again next year!

So relaxing!

Our group included two families. The house fit us perfectly and had a great feel. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful! Would definitely book again here. We all left Palm Springs feeling relaxed and recharged :)

This house was so much trouble. The photos online look beautiful however the entire experience was terrible. The management company managing this house was so difficult to reach for any questions or concerns. It took over 15 calls to pay to get the pool heated (150 per day in addition) prior to our arrival as the management company was not sure how this worked. When we arrived, 2 of the 3 umbrellas around the house were broken and would not open, the cushions surrounding the pool had been shredded with foam sticking out. One of the showers was broken and spraying water everywhere. A different shower had the light fixture removed above the shower head with wires and lightbulbs exposed. The shower in the primary suite had extensive mold. The mattress was lumpy in one room. I’ve stayed in several VRBO properties and I’ve never had an experience anywhere close to this. We reported all of these issues to the management company during our stay in. It took so many phone calls that my vacation was not enjoyable and I was stressed the entire time as we were there with two sets of grandparents. We asked for a partial refund/reimbursement for all of our troubles and have still heard nothing. The one positive is the house is in a very beautiful location in Palm Springs with a great view of the mountains from the backyard.

week in Palm Springs

The location is perfect. This was my second time staying here. I did a girls weekend a few years ago. We very much enjoy the house. There was no bike pump but we contacted them and there was a pump an hour later. Only negative is it could be a little cleaner.

The house was in an incredible neighborhood and close in for walking to Palm Springs Proper. Our family enjoyed the spaciousness of the house and the pool especially. It must be noted that you cannot have ANY outdoor music playing in this neighborhood. The house is beautifully decorated, but needs maintenance. The master shower does not work and there is previous water damage all over in the bathroom. The kitchen has a good set of working tools minus a working can opener, and any baking tools (spatula, measuring cups and baking dishes.) The refrigerator built in ice/water does not work properly so we opted to purchase bottled water. The bbq was fantastic and clean to use. All linens were fresh, clean and neat. My son found a huge cockroach in his room that would scurry around. Please note: the communication was terrible in this process. VRBO rents house, then transfers it to Vacasa who then transfers it to Casada (Acme rentals). I had to hunt Casada down a month and week in advance for info. We did not receive the check in information on time and I had to call everyone. VRBO could not even get ahold of them! Casada does not return calls and does not do a zoom or live check in like they said would happen. I did not receive the arrival info 24-48 hours in advance, (it was 8hours by text) and when we arrived the door code was incorrect. We sat in the car in 107 degree heat waiting for someone to call us back. It was dicey getting in! We left the house neat & clean.

Nice house with a great layout and pool area.

Vacasa did a great job and was very helpful. There is a technical problem with the hot tub that would not heat up without their help. Owner should upgrade this so that it works.

Beautiful house, TERRIBLE management

House, location, and neighborhood are beautiful. Sadly, the management of property through VACASA was horrendous. My stay had to be shortened by one day due to their mistake and had to make about 12 calls to get the pool warmed.

Rooms With A View

The stay was absolutely perfect! The neighborhood was old school Palm Springs which immediately set the tone of our trip. The house was clean, decorated beautifully and literally had a spectacular view of the mountainside and palm trees.... we loved our stay at Enjoy Life!!! Actually, I want to say Thank You! Prior to our visit, one of our friends had a stroke and surgery and you guys accommodated is and the changes in our travel plans and it meant a lot. It was an emotional few weeks prior to our trip and you guys treated us very kindly! THANK YOU!!!

The Perfect Downtown Palm Springs Home

Stunning mid century modern home in the iconic downtown neighborhood. The management company was quickly responsive and very helpful. The backyard was very private with stunning views of the mountains. We have been going to Palm Springs for years and never had mosquito problems but this houses back yard was full of mosquitos. The lawn was soggy from the sprinklers going on multiple times a day, maybe the breading ground for them? All and all we will be back.

Amazing home

We just loved this home. With 3 couples, the layout was perfect. We had so much privacy with the primary bedroom on the other side of the house and each having its own bathroom. Solid construction where you could not hear a thing from the other rooms. It has been nicely renovated, we loved the design and all the furniture. The beds were incredibly comfortable; we all had such great sleeps. The yard was our favorite...absolutely stunning! Sitting on the pool deck in the early morning with that view of the orange mountains will be a forever memory! The pool is beautiful and it was worth it to pay for the heating as we used it every day. The area is so peaceful and serene and great for walks and bike rides. We have stayed in several homes in Vista Las Palmas and this one was our favorite yet. A real gem! We will definitely return.

Favorite house in a Palm Springs

Great house—have stayed here multiple times. Authentic mid-century in stunning neighborhood and close the heart of Palm Springs. Beautifully decorated and well-stocked with all the essentials. Pool and spa were working great and appear to have all new equipment. Pool is plenty warm without paying for heat in June, and spa still heated up quickly at night. Also happy to see all new carpet and some new furniture (and grill) since our last stay. One note: 4th bedroom is better for kids (queen bed with no attached bathroom). Other 3 bedrooms have king beds and private bathrooms. Other nice amenities: two beach cruiser bikes in the garage for riding around the neighborhood, EV plugin to charge our car, citrus trees in the backyard and a juicer in the kitchen. We look forward to returning next time we're in the desert.

Great House, Great Location

Great house in a great location. Great layout and space for guests. Air conditioning is maxed at 76 degrees. It was 122 degrees while we were there and the master bedroom always remained warm and somewhat uncomfortable. This room should be adjusted to a lower temperature. Management company was non responsive to reported issues during stay (ants) or after. Have had to call 5 times for a credit with no resolution. Other than the issue with the AC in the master bedroom and management company, this is a great house and highly recommended

Beautiful backyard and scenery

Really lovely decorated home in a great mid-century modern neighborhood. Plenty of space for us all in the home and the beautiful back yard. We did have issues with the heating of the pool/hot tub. The pool was crazy hot, 98 degrees plus. We called twice to have it checked on. They didn't come out until the second to the last day. They turned off the heater, which also turned off the hot tub. So we had a nice temperature pool on the last day but a cold hot tub. Kinda of a bust. It was a waste of our money to pay to heat the pool, only to be able to use it the last day of our trip.

Thank you for your review, Lisa. We sincerely apologize for the pool heat issues you encountered during your stay. Since you had requested and paid to heat the pool it was hot for your arrival. To clarify, this home does not have a hot tub. Rather, it has a pool spa that is connected to the pool. The pool spa and pool share the same heater, thus will always be the same temperature. This means if the pool heat is turned off, so will the pool spa. We apologize for the confusion.
