Absolutely stunning in all of the best ways, this colorful Ranch style architectural gem has all the charm and swagger of 1954 Palm Springs, plus modern updates and conveniences where you want them. As soon as you step foot inside, you will be greeted by the vibrant paint, pops of modern art, and spacious layout perfect for you and yours to kick back and enjoy Palm Springs the right way. The living room offers an HDTV, fireplace, and plenty of seating for watching movies or entertaining your guests for cocktails. Or you can move the conversation out back through the french doors to the garden patio, complete with an outdoor bar and poolside fire pit with a great sunset mountain view.

While outside you'll enjoy being surrounded by lots of lush landscaping, mature banana, tangelo, and lemon trees, and a large inviting saltwater swimming pool with a nine-foot deep end, all situated on a generous and private 10,000 square foot lot! On warm days you'll enjoy plenty of shade from the sun under the huge olive tree that is the focus of this backyard oasis. This tree was planted when the house was built in 1954!

Back inside, also circa the 1950s and 60s, both bathrooms feature original green or pink porcelain tile and have been modernized with fun and vibrant wallpaper that is sure to make you smile. Nearby, there are two private and comfortable bedrooms to retreat to. The front bedroom offers an HDTV and a private patio with access to the backyard and beautiful mountain views. The en suite bedroom also has an HDTV, plus a quiet office area and a private bathroom, with direct access to the pool patio. The kitchen has been updated with stainless steel appliances and a coffee station to start your day properly. And the adjacent dining room and bar area will help wind down your day properly!

Located in central Palm Springs just over a mile from downtown shops, restaurants, and museums, Oliver's Oasis is the perfect home base for a relaxing and enjoyable visit to Palm Springs.

Perfect Palm Springs vacation home

The owners created a wonderful place to relax in Palm Springs. We loved that there just as many sunny areas as shady areas to relax on the property. Everything inside was clean and the amenities were great. We would stay here anytime we come back.

A truly phenomenal property that provided tremendous local color and a badly needed respite from dreary Northwest winter. Hope we’ll be allowed to visit again. Would love to make an annual or even semiannual pilgrimage!

Little slice of heaven

This home and grounds are even more beautiful than pictured. In terms of decor, the owners have a wonderful eye and have taken care of every detail. All furnishings--indoor and out--are tasteful and well-maintained. Kitchen fully equipped, and then some. Backyard pool is perfect and the yard offers tons of different spaces for sun and shade. Really, it deserves a 6th star.

Absolute perfection

This house has one of the most gorgeous outdoor areas imaginable! Beautifully shaded with many comfortable areas to sit, laze, swim or sun. The owners have outfitted the house with every possible convenience. A coffee station, a fabulous stove, spices galore, SHARP knives and lush bedding. It’s all here. The location along the river walk couldn’t be more inviting. The vistas spectacular! I miss it already!

Wonderful property

We had a great stay during Memorial Day weekend. The property is beautifully landscaped, it is indeed an oasis! Dog-friendly, people friendly, and impeccable. One small thing—the overhead light in the main bedroom did not work. Not important but I thought you might want to know. Everyone enjoyed the whimsical 60s prints as well as the vintage French posters. We look forward to returning at some point.

Exceeded Expectations

We've stayed in a lot of P.S. homes, but this one is unmatched. Great fun to stay in a home that reflects thoughtful concern for every little detail. Landscaping and interior decor especially impressive. Only glitch for us was miscommunication between VRBO, from whom we thought we were renting, and Vacasa, who actually administered the rental. (That's why the 2 stars for communication w/ property mgr.)

Good Vibes Only

This location has everything. We were fortunate to have warm weather and use the marvelous pool. We spent most of our time enjoying the backyard, which is gorgeous. We felt safe and secure at this house. The neighborhood is a walk away from shopping centers, downtown and within 10 minutes of many golf courses. Strongly suggest the use of the list things-to-so in the binder. All amazing suggestions. We even used the book which had a self-guided tour of Palm Springs, it took us four days but it was educational and so much fun. Amazing stay with friends at this marvelous location. Location is outstanding, safe and very close to all major arteries and even within walking distance from downtown. Thank you, Oliver for letting us stay in your digs.

Palm Springs break

We loved this house and all of the great decor and art! The back yard was the best we have ever stayed! Vacasa was right up to the 4:00 chwck in for access to the house. It was confusing with the various texts and emails on who the right person to communicate with, which delayed some of the communications, I started just contacted all of them when we need to communicate; very confusing. The floors were pretty dirty and the laundry area was really dirty. We had no propane for the patio heater, Vacasas first suggestion was for us to take and get them filled ourselves and they would reimburse us. This kept us from being able to enjoy the patio for a day and half of our trip. The house and owners were awsome, Vacasa not so much.

Incredible home and location

A True Oasis

(This is Mrs. Hood) I read a lot of reviews before seeing this property, and it seemed like there should be a catch. It looked so fun! The reality was even better. I could go on about the yard; trust me it's wonderful. So green. The hosts are super generous with everything one would need and even more. We had a welcome note with wine and baked treats for our Frenchie, Ani. They had lots of suggestions for things to do (for us there was no reason to leave the lush green backyard 'oasis' with mountain views). Ani was in heaven bouncing around and exploring the enclosed yard. Plenty of pool toys and yard games. The home is adorable and full of fun art, glassware, and other interesting pieces. The owners left several books on local architecture my husband thoroughly enjoyed. If you visit in cooler weather there's board games, a nice fireplace, etc. The neighborhood is quiet and only the occasional car drives by because of the location. The front faces a dry riverbed so it has an open view. The beds are super comfy too. All the wifi and TV worked great. Just a darling home and we'll be back if it's still available in the future. Thank you so much for making the visit beyond special. Hated to leave!

Beautiful Retreat

The photos don’t come close to showcasing how lovely this Palm Springs home truly is. From the breathtaking front lawn views to the relaxing backyard haven, this property is a gem not to be missed. I have stayed in luxury hotels and rentals throughout the world and can honestly say that this spot is one of my favorites to date. The owners have out so many thoughtful touches in every corner to make staying here feel like home, it’s tough to leave. Imagine all possible comfort amenities + luxury bedding, appliances, furnishings, art and so much more. Hummingbirds flock to the backyard each morning where lemon trees and flowering hedges line a spectacular pool area. The owners think of everything- from laundry needs to coffee. It would be paradise in any location- but the close proximity to the most beloved spots in Palm Springs makes this ‘oasis’ exactly that and more. It’s a Four Seasons hotel suite combined with an all inclusive island resort landscape. You can’t go wrong booking this one-of-a-kind haven!!
