About Julie Zemel
In 2006, we moved from San Francisco to Denver to start a family where we could embrace our passion for the outdoors. We have dreamed about having a place to call home in the mountains since our first year here when we experienced all of the amazing opportunities for skiing, hiking, biking and fun Breckenridge has to offer for our whole family.
Julie Zemel purchased this Condo in 2014
Why Julie Zemel chose Peak 8
We spent several years renting various condos on various mountains before deciding that there is no better place to be than this small complex.
What makes this Condo unique
Convenience: No car needed! Walk to ski lift, ski to door, soak in connected hot tub, walk to apres ski without worrying about a designated driver. Comfort: 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are perfect for a group of friends or a couple of families. Mountain: Breck is just the best! Its got so much terrain for every level of skier/boarder. Town: Breck isn't just another Intrawest pre-fab ski village with the usual array of national chains. It's a charming town with locally-owned restaurants, bars, shops, etc. All in easy walking distance from our condo! Neighbors: Our condo is in a very small complex with owner-occupied units so everyone is friendly and respectful.

Great place, owners very helpful.
Fantastic accommodations, awesome location, best stocked kitchen of any rental.
This was a PERFECT place to stay for the 5 of us for Spring Break. A very short walk to Snowflake lift to get the day started, and skiing right up to the building for lunch and at the end of the day made it possible to stay on the mountain longer. The kitchen is the most well stocked I've ever seen in a rental property. No shortage of plates, bowls, cookware and utensils. The property owner is by far the BEST I've ever delt with. Always happy to answer texts quickly and even invited us to join them for a "locals annual event" while we were in town! We will definitely be back! Thank you Julie!
Great location just steps from the slopes
This condo has everything you need or would want! It is conveniently located on the 4 o'clock run and just a short walk to the snowflake lift where you spend no time in line to get up the mountain. The kitchen was well equiped as we cooked quite a bit. When we did go to town it only took a minute or two to get there. The kids loved the games provided by owners. My sister loved the condiments and spices left by the owners and former occupants. It was nice not having to buy the staples as they were already there for you! Lastly, because our visit coincided with the cyclone bomb snow storm, Julie Zemel, the owner bent over backwards to get us in the unit as soon as it became available all the while soothing frayed nerves due to our slippery commute. She was very attentive to our questions and answered them as soon as they arose. Having stayed at many VRBO properties I have never had an owner as interested in making our visit the best it could be. I would definitly visit this condo again.
The location of the property is fantastic. Very easy access to lifts, ski to the door and access to town for bars and restaurants. The condo is a perfect home from home; thoughtfully refurbished and very well maintained. The owners are the nicest people and made our stay a treat. Already planning on coming back.....Do not hesitate - book it!
GREAT LOCATION & HELPFUL OWNER!
This condo location could not have been more perfect, just a half block away from the Snowflake lift a short walk to town. No need for a car and had all the amenities of home. The owner was beyond helpful and friendly and we loved working with her! FIVE STARS!!!!
Great location super cute condo
This condo could not be more convenient to town and the slopes! We were able to walk into town and ski in after a long day on the mountain. The owner was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend.
With five huge peaks spanning 2,908 acres, Breckenridge skiing has something for all abilities and interests. Every beginner and intermediate trail is groomed nightly so you can enjoy endless turns throughout your day. Or, ride North America’s highest chairlift, the Imperial Express, up to the high alpine bowls for unforgettable views and steeps. If you’re looking for terrain parks, Breckenridge has four—one for every skill level.
Breckenridge is a charming, friendly, historical small-town with activities that would appeal to all
family members, both in the summer and in the winter. Even if you are not a skier, you have free
access to an in-town gondola to venture to the top of the mountain to watch the skiers and
snowboarders. If you prefer cross country skiing or snowshoeing, we have 3 Nordic centers less
than 10 miles apart. The same gondola takes you to the 'fun park' in the summer for miniature golf,
alpine slides, a roller coaster ride, bungy jumping, mountain bike rides, segway tours and hiking.
Most of the ski shops become bike shops in the summer and there is a dedicated recreation path all
the way to Vail and beyond for the serious biker. Breckenridge is very biker friendly!! Lake Dillon is
also about 15 miles away for sailing, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding and more! There are
multiple outfitters in town if your interest is flyfishing. And for the shopper, there are many
charming boutique shops in Breckenridge plus an extensive selection of outlet stores in
Silverthorne. The tourist center on Main Street at the Riverwalk is invaluable for letting you know of
the weekly activities. There is also an in-town Arts District showcasing up and coming artists. And
did you know that Breckenridge is home to 2 classical orchestras in the summer? They also use the
Riverwalk for other musical venues with appeal for everyone. For a real workout, visit the
Breckenridge Rec Center and check out all their activities. And the list just goes on and on---
