Historic District 2BR + Parking | Walk to City Dock & USNA

Stay in the heart of Annapolis’ Historic District, just a short walk from City Dock, the U.S. Naval Academy, restaurants, shops and the waterfront. This character-filled two-bedroom home combines an unbeatable downtown location with vintage furnishings, nautical touches and the convenience of reserved parking beside the house.

The main level features a comfortable living room with TV and sofa sleeper, a fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, breakfast-bar seating and hardwood floors. Just off the living area, an enclosed porch provides an additional cozy spot to relax with morning coffee or unwind after a day downtown.

Upstairs are two individually styled bedrooms. The first has a double bed, while the second has a three-quarter bed—wider than a twin but slightly narrower than a standard full/double bed. The home is best suited for and limited to a maximum of three guests. A sofa sleeper in the living room provides additional flexibility in sleeping arrangements while maintaining the three-guest maximum.

The full bathroom includes a tub/shower and pedestal sink, and guests also have the convenience of an in-home washer and dryer. High-speed Wi-Fi and window A/C provide modern comforts while preserving the character of this older Annapolis home.

One of the biggest advantages here is the location. Leave the car in the reserved parking space beside the house and explore downtown Annapolis on foot:

Annapolis City Dock: approximately 4-minute walk
U.S. Naval Academy: approximately 0.3 mile / 6-minute walk
Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium: approximately 1.2 miles

This is not a newly built or contemporary-style property—it is a distinctive older Annapolis home filled with collected furnishings, maritime artwork and vintage details. Guests who value walkability, history, personality and location will feel especially at home here.

Plus: great location, good space for three adults, all amenities functioned, quiet street and neighbors, interesting decor.Negative: poor beds, tight parking, narrow stairway could be dangerousI might reserve it again.

Thank you for your review and for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the location, space, quiet neighborhood and unique character of the home. We take guest feedback seriously and have since made several enhancements to the property, including replacing the mattresses. We also do our best to make guests aware prior to booking that, while having a dedicated parking space is a real convenience in downtown Annapolis, the space is on the smaller side. Likewise, the home’s steep, narrow staircase is part of the character of this more than 200-year-old historic property and may not be ideal for every guest. We appreciate your comments and are always looking for ways to make each stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We’d be happy to welcome you back!

Hidden gem

Excellent location for all things USNA and downtown Annapolis. We walked everywhere. The second bedroom was a little warm but it was unseasonably hot while we were there. There is a K cup coffeemaker but you’ll need to bring everything to enjoy a cup. Would definitely stay again!

Checking in

I never received an email telling me the code for the keypad on the door. My daughter and I tried calling the emergency number multiple times, always leaving a message. It was a good hour before anyone responded to our call. The lady had the correct email, but an email was never received. I had expected that calling the emergency number that I would hear something very soon. 57 Pinkney is a lovely place, in a fabulous location.

Location, location, location

Just a few blocks to State House & Governor's mansion, Gate 1 entrance to Navel Academy, harbor, St John's College, St Anne's & shopping. Amazing restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Pinkney is a very quiet Street in a charming neighborhood.
