Upon arrival we found food and grime on the island, food spills under the table and candy wrapper remnants on the rugs. The property manager gave us access to a vacuum. We vacuumed and wiped down all the countertops. Then on Wednesday a guy showed up at 7:30 in the morning to do maintenance on the spa. I first noticed him as he walked past the back door while we were eating breakfast. Then he knocked on the front door and asked me to watch the hose that he was using to refill the spa and left for a hour or so. Before he returned I had to cut off the water, replace the filters and turn the spa back on. We wouldn't have minded him coming had we be forewarned he was coming and he had completed the job and not left it to me. Like another review I had read, the cabin needs some updating. The couch feels like you're sitting in a hole and face sideways to the TV so it's awkward to watch TV from it. The quits on the beds are old and stained and need replacing. The beds themselves were comfortable. The A/C just to note are window units. However, maybe in late July to early August you'd need to use them. Tha cabin in mid June stayed very comfortable without them. The "fire pit"'is a joke. It's a Walmart bowl that sits on the edge of the back deck allowing a max of 2 people to enjoy it due to the space.
