The Space:

Whether you're looking to entertain loved ones or simply relax in a beautiful coastal setting, you'll be able to do it all at this Seaside home just a few blocks from the beach. Enjoy an expansive deck and backyard, comfortable leather furnishings, and a private firepit to gather around each evening when fire season is not in effect - all in a prime location close to the sand, the Seaside Promenade, and downtown.



Additional amenities include a level 2 electric vehicle charger in the garage. Tesla vehicles MUST manually limit charge to 24A to use this charger



If you head less than two blocks west, you'll find an access point to the ocean beach and the end of the Seaside Promenade. Downtown Seaside is within walking distance, just three-quarters of a mile south along the river, offering superb dining options. You can also feed the seals at the historic Seaside Aquarium on the Promenade, hop on the Seaside Carousel inside the mall, or tee off at one of the five beautiful golf courses between Seaside and Astoria.



THINGS TO KNOW

Parking for two vehicles available in the driveway. No on-street parking is allowed for vacation rental renters, or their visitors, in the City of Seaside. Limited overnight parking is available by permit at the Seaside Visitors Bureau for extra vehicles of VRD renters or their visitors. Guests may obtain a parking permit at the Visitors Bureau, located at 7 N Roosevelt in Seaside from 9am to 6 pm Monday through Saturday and 10am to 2pm Sundays seasonally.

The firepit is not available for use from June 1st to December 1st.

This was a perfect base for our weekend away with our pup. The location feels secluded but is a short walk from Broadway and the Prom, two blocks from the beach away from the crowds at the turnaround. We only ate breakfasts there, but the kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, gadgets, etc., the primary bed is comfortable and the fenced yard and deck were both great for our pup to also enjoy his stay.

Quiet Cottage

Great Oregon coast multi-level property. Felt like "the good ol days" stepping inside with the decor, classic DVDs, and a big back deck that was shaded in the evening. Also VERY quiet and still very short walk to the beach. Would stay again!

Great house, close to beach.

House was very beautiful, and just a short 2 block walk to the beach. Would absolutely stay here again.

Absolutely loved the location! Great sized home and very dog friendly! Gave 5 stars for everything aside from cleanliness. The bed and bathrooms were clean, however there was a lot of dust/webs around the home and mold on the shower door along with old chips crumbs by the couch. Noticed they didn’t offer A/C only heat but the evenings are cold enough to open windows to cool off. However, you can’t beat the price, the dog limit allowance and the location.

Great Location!

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with river views, and only a few minutes walk to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. The owner really thought about how people would use the home with seating areas, plenty of blankets, towels, books, and even DVDs.

Great escape

The location was great and not on a main road. Perfect setup for our family of 4. Abundance of towels and beach toys.Had some trouble at check-in. We were given a code for the door, but batteries on the lock were dead. House was very clean besides master shower (had hair left around drain and mold on the bottom of the shower door).

Property is a little tired for the price we paid and gas log stove was non-functional. Worn furniture and not quite enough seating for 4 adults. Carpet is worn and should be replaced with vinyl tile or other easily maintained surface which would give place less of a tired feel. Deck furniture is exposed to elements and not appealing to use either. Living area is nice and open and kitchen was well appointed though.

It’s good

The location was great! Layout was nice. Weird entrance to the home through the basement and backyard which needs a path instead of walking through high grass and pooling water during a rain event. Definitely overall a good place to stay

Amazing Home

House was very clean with a Kitchen that has everything you need. Totally fenced yard where we didn't need to worry about the dogs getting out. We will definately make this our go to when staying in Seaside. Thank You so much!

Comfy, Cozy, Close to Beach!

We stayed in this VRBO home with our two adult children and our small dog. There was plenty of space, blankets, games and movies. The deck was wonderful to hang out on, use the grill, have evening cocktails. The walk to the beach was easy with soft sand and plenty of space to spend an afternoon by the water. What a wonderful surprise with the raspberry and strawberry plants, and the turtle/beach decor made it feel like a vacation even more. Highly recommend! Seaside is fun to explore as well.

It’s a maybe

Cute home 2 blocks from beach. Very cool layout. Gorgeous fenced yard rental that allows multiple dogs. Awesome deck facing private empty lot. Home is outdated and could use a bit of a deep clean but overall not awful. If you have dogs or kids it’s a good fit. If you’re having a girls weekend not so much.

Harrassment about parking

Kept getting harrassed about the parking situation, when it was the house across the street. They have parties and shoot fireworks off every night since they rent out the ex-large parking space. The owners of the house are not aware of what's going on . Sorry 1 neighbor has ruin it, but will never will be back.

Home was very nice, cleanliness was to be desired.

The home was nice, however the cleanliness was not good, when we arrived there was hair in both showers, there was fecal matter dried in the upstairs toilet along with urine on the rim, there was dirty dishes left in the dishwasher, coffee pot had old grounds and old coffee left in the pot. There was a load of sheets left in the washer as well. This isn't the first time I have had troubles with Vacasa homes not being clean and they don't address the issue ever, I just wish it would be in the original listing that it is managed by Vacasa.

Wonderful getaway

This is a very nice multi-story house in a very quiet street away from downtown. Very clean home with everything you would need. Loved that the beach was only 2 blocks away. Our visits to the water were always at low tide and it's amazing how far it is to get to the waves! Our dogs loved romping around in the shallow waters. Be aware that since it is multi-story there are some stairs to climb. The entrance is through the garage in the back of the house and you climb up and enter in the the kitchen. Could be a problem for older folks and dogs. The photos in the gallery really only show one set of small stairs. The backyard is very spacious and fenced. Watch out for the Monkey Puzzle Tree in the yard. The hard spikes are nasty! All in all would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

Ouiet Oasis

For us, the best feature of this house is its location. It is a 2 block straight walk to the beach and the north end of the promenade starts just a few block away from the house. There is a view of the river from the deck. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and peaceful. The decor is old world but very clean and well-cared for. Plenty of linens, towels, blankets and dish ware. The wifi was strong. The fenced back yard was perfect for our 2 dogs. It should be noted that from the house the only entrance directly to the back yard is down the basement steps from the kitchen and through a laundry/ garage work area. There was one disappointment which is certainly correctable. You can only enter the locked house through the basement door on the back side of the house - which is no problem. But during our stay, immediately upon walking inside, we were faced with a gas can, open cuttings shears, rake, lawn edger, etc. piled in a heap by the door. Not a safe passageway in our estimation for dogs or young children.

Turtle terrace

The property was fantastic! Very comfortable and clean. Instead of vrbo, Vacasa was in charge , we had questions .. The only phone number given was some Vacasa central place - they had no idea about anything about the property. It would’ve been nice to immediately receive the phone number of the property manager or whoever was familiar with it. . We gave up. Also there was very generic instructions on close out Need more specific info on what is excepted, about recycling, leave trash in , etc.
