The Space:

Whaler's Point, located in a very prestigious gated community a short distance south of central Seaside, is the perfect romantic getaway. Get a babysitter and come to this elegant home with a 180-degree view from Tillamook Head to Astoria. Treat your loved ones to a special meal prepared in the kitchen and served with candles at the dining room table or in front of the fire. The master bedroom has a king bed, a bath with a jetted tub, and marble and granite everywhere. The views are to die for! There is a second bedroom with a queen bed and bath looking out onto a private garden. It's situated on a cliff above a whitewater cove (the cliff is the reason we recommend against children staying here). You could see a whale or an eagle from your vantage point. If you want to impress someone you love, this is the place.

A perfect condo for 2 ladies friends for 50 years. Comfortable drives to Cannon Beach one day and Astoria another. Since stairs would be an issue the lower level property was perfect for us. We enjoyed the fireplace in the evening. Definitely will stay here again.

This property is truly a gem. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the location at the end of the road in a gated community truly provides seclusion and peace. The condo was well appointed with a fully equipped kitchen, toiletries, and even laundry detergent. The beds were comfortable, the sheets and towels clean, and the condo meticulously kept. The ceiling to floor views of the ocean and private patio overlooking the Pacific were truly spectacular. This is one of the best rentals I've stayed in and I would absolutely book it again. If you stay here you are in for a real treat.

Listing was very misleading. You are not booking a two story attached house as the listing states. Instead it is a small lower level condo with someone above you. No access to the private balcony shown in the listing instead you get a shared outside patio area with absolutely no privacy. As other reviews have noted unit is perched on a high cliff with no white water views or beach access. Not safe for children.

Pretty amazing views. You have two choices in this area: to stay right in town walkable to anywhere, or stay out of town and hope for some amazing views of the ocean. We went for the ocean and were NOT disappointed.

The house was really clean & comfortable & well stocked and the view of the ocean was amazing. We also really enjoyed the little downtown area in Seaside and the beach. We were originally going to stay in Cannon Beach, but are glad we close Seaside instead. Cannon Beach has a beautiful waterfront, but Seaside had more little shops and restaurants to wander around in during the evening.
