Welcome to your beautiful mountain cabin above the lake with great access to Garwoods & Tahoe City and less than 1 mile to the water. Completely renovated with an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen featuring charming wood beam ceilings, new appliances, large picture window and a gas fireplace. 2 bedrooms on opposite ends of the cabin allow for privacy while the updated bathrooms provide for a mountain retreat of tranquility with modern appeal. Upstairs you will find a fully enclosed loft with a quaint reading area, TV and a a separate space for sleeping. A perfect quiet area, or a space for the kids to be entertained!

Father of 2 girls and a Frenchie, business owner and sports enthusiast. I first set foot in Tahoe in college and knew it was a special place. After spending a couple winters working in the area and a few summers at Garwoods I had a hunch I would be back. I purchased the home in the fall of 2025 and completely renovated it being involved with every detail so that my family, friends and you could enjoy it. I live in San Diego with my lil Frenchie Zadira (aka Z, Zebra, Gremlin).

Why they chose this property

The location sits on a ridge looking out above the lake right between Tahoe City and Kings Beach and equal distance to NorthStar and Palisades. Carnelian Bay is very sought after for its unique wooded tranquil location right next to the lake with access to many hiking trails.

Completely modernized renovation without losing the charm from the original 1956 build. You will love the wood beam ceiling in the open kitchen, dining and living room with a warm modern desire. You will love how open and comfy the cabin is, with all the modern comforts and a gas burning fireplace.
