The Best Of Both Worlds With Bay Harbor View And A Short Walk To Crescent Beach.

Enjoy this beautiful two bedroom, two bath villa, featuring a view of the intercoastal and neighboring yacht club Marina.

Guests have deeded access to the private beach at Gulf and Bay Club, making one of the world’s most famous beach destinations an easy walk away.

This ground floor property is just steps to the one of two large community pools, as well as the fishing pier, exercise room, sauna and grills in this gated resort community. Enjoy the lighted tennis courts, ponds stocked with fish, and walking paths.

Our villa sleeps 6, with one King in the Master, 2 twins in the second bedroom and one Queen sofa bed in the living room. All bedrooms have a TV and plenty of closet space. The plantation shutters allow you to let the sunshine in or darken the room for a great night’s sleep. There won't be much you need to bring with our fully equipped kitchen, linens, beach towels, full-size washer and dryer & high speed internet.

Guest reservations also include use of the beach cart, chairs, pool and beach toys, bikes and fishing gear stored in the garage.

Walk to the Village for great food, shopping, entertainment or ice cream, or walk 1 1/2 miles on the beach to the Point of Rocks. There is something for everyone!

Why Jim Lay chose Siesta Key

Bayside offered everything we love - fishing, boating, private beach access and a short walk to the Village. We chose this villa for it's prime location near the pool and it's view of the Bay. Bayside has a Key West charm to it and feels more private than other resorts. It has everything we were looking for.

What makes this villa unique

One of the unique benefits of being at Gulf and Bay Bayside is that you don't have to find a public access to the beach and fight the crowds. You can pack up your beach cart and use the crosswalk in front of the complex to our private beach access which is just across the street. At the same time, you are right on the Bay where you can fish or watch for manatee. There is something for everyone!

Cute complex, walking distance to the beach, in need of updates

Gulf & Bay Club Condominiums (we stayed on the Gulf side) is a very cute facility which is walking distance to the beach and has two pools/tennis courts in the complex. The owners of the condo were very easy to book with/get in contact with during our stay if needed. We fit six people in this condo comfortably (three of them slept on the couch/lazy boy recliner chairs in the living room). Although the place is in needed of major updating, we were able to look past that as the majority of our time was spent at the beach. However, were unable to look past the maintenance/cleaning issues. All items a renter needs to fulfill their stay should be in mint condition. The bathroom pocket door/sliding glass door should open and close without sticking, more lighting should be added and a thorough clean (vacuuming under couches/beds, dusting baseboards and fans, etc.) should be conducted after each rentor. In addition, cleaning supplies should be kept on hand in case a renter, like us, needs/wants to clean more adequately. Our family would stay in this complex again as it was a good deal and not far from the beach. If updates were made, maintenance errors fixed and more beach equipment was present, I'm sure the owners should charge more.

This condo did not stop us from having a wonderful time in beautiful Siesta Key!

We loved our stay at Jim and Debbie Lay's condo at Gulf and Bay Bayside.

We loved that it was so well equipped, nicely decorated, had comfortable beds and so close to the pool. They had had beach toys, chairs, umbrella, lawn chairs and fishing gear and a cart for the beach which was wonderful. The only complaint was that the bike had a flat tire. We loved being able to use the facilities at Gulf Bay Club especially the large pool so close to the beach. Debbie was so responsive to all my questions and we appreciated all the information provided about the area. We would love to return in the near future.

Had a very enjoyable vacation in Siesta Key. There were six family members with plenty of room and the condo was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for fishing, swimming and a just short walk to the beach. The owner was great to work with and made our stay awesome! I would highly recommend this unit and plan to visit again next year!

This rental experience was a big disappointment . Initially rented this unit because owner said they had arrangements for boat dockage available, few weeks before arrival, it was not. Upon arrival, unit had been closed up for some time, and hot water heater turned off. Master bed was uncomfortable, stained towels and sheets. The refrigerator and stove were dirty. The roofs were being done on this unit, noisy, workers present, having lunch on door step, and roofing supplies and garbag around. We had a screw in our tire. And then mid way thru our week the air conditioner went out. Owners did not respond propmtly instead we were told the day after air conditioner went off, find a new rental and we would be given a full refund. So we spent a day of our vacation locating another rental, packing up from this unit and moving into a different property. Owners did not do a full refund. The one good experience of this property, is it is in a good location and pool is across the street.

Owner's Response: Review #12040303 “Disappointed” It is interesting that I spoke to this renter several times and most of these issues were never mentioned. We could have taken care of ALL of these had they been mentioned. I answer my phone 24/7 but I can't read someone's mind. They did say that the roofers left a mess and they had to clean it up. When I said I would call and complain, the renters said " It wasn't THAT bad so we just picked up and they are finished here anyways". They could have called me and I would have taken care of it right away, as there is a maintenance crew on site. We offered an alternate dock to which the renter said "Oh that is even closer to your unit". I also told them that they could come a day early or stay an extra day, no charge. They did not end up bringing their boat! We use a professional cleaning co. and have never had a complaint but would have liked to known this sooner. The fire inspector suggests the hot water heater is turned off when there is nobody there. On Tuesday at 8:30 pm, I received a call that the air conditioner went out. I immediately made phone calls and early Wed. morning called the renters to tell them someone would be there at 5pm. I thought they would just spend the day at the pool or beach but they said they didn't want to wait and would find another place and would like a refund. I never said I would give them a FULL refund. They were there 4 days before the A/C went out. We immediately refunded them for all but 3 days and ate all tax. We went beyond the norm to try to make these renters happy and monetarily made it up to them for their inconvenience. Other vacation rentals do not refund but they give a credit for a future stay.

Perfect Home Away from Home

This condo was so perfect for our annual family vacation to Siesta Key. Upon arrival we immediately felt at home. The condo was very spacious and clean and it had all of the supplies we needed for an easy and enjoyable stay. The property was beautiful, the pool is right across the street and was great for our young kids. We enjoyed going to the beach every day, either walking with our beach cart or driving down to park at one of the more secluded access points. Debbie, the owner, was very accessible and answered all of my questions and was extremely helpful. We plan to be back as soon as we can!

Great location! The unit had everything that we needed.

The unit was a great location and had everything that we needed for a great holiday! The pool was very close to the unit - the pool area is very nice as well. The pool is large and there are lots of chairs around the pool. The condo was clean and comfortable. The beds are comfortable, the unit is a nice layout and well stocked. We really enjoyed the lanai. We liked the ground level as well. We went to the beach daily, about a 10 minute walk. We really enjoyed having both options of beach and pool. Condo complex is very nice and people are very friendly. Siesta Key is a lovely destination! We went with our teenagers and everyone had a great time!
