About Tammy Kreger

I have been in the vacation rental business since April of 2012 and have two other vacation rental homes. My most popular is Nature's Paradise on Hood Canal VRBO property #422166, (please read my reviews). It has been wonderful sharing my properties with guests from all over the world. My guests have taken wonderful care of my homes.

I have been very fortunate to travel to every continent, 62 different countries, and 50 cruises so far. My favorite trip was traveling to Antartica. I think that I understand what guests appreciate when traveling. It is very hard to pack much on the airplane with luggage restrictions. The house is well equipped with things that will make your vacation more memorable and enjoyable.

Tammy Kreger purchased this house in 2013

Why Tammy Kreger chose Hood Canal, Olympic Peninsula

The Seal Rock home has easy access to the beach. The main floor bedroom and bathroom is wheelchair accessible. The home is very comfortable for 16 people to come together and enjoy each others company and the amazing property. It surprises and delights me how much people enjoy my homes.

What makes this house unique

You can enjoy oyster picking, crabbing (seasonal), hiking, beachcombing, etc. There is so much to do. At the house we supply crab pots, crab bait, oyster knives, shovels, rakes, buckets for clam digging, rubber boots in many sizes, boats, life preservers, and much more.

Great house and location!!

  • 4 of 5

Owner Tammy is beyond nice and helpful. House so large-just perfect for a big family stay-thoughtful amenities for a group like HUGE dining table with 12 chairs, PLENTY of outdoor chairs and indoor living room seating, TWO washing machines and TWO dryers, etc. Cleanest and best maintained rental house, inside and out, that I have ever encountered. GREAT view and beach access-shucking oysters on the beach was SO much fun. The Brinnon kayak rental center is a few minutes down the road, so easy to get watercraft delivered. One thing-which could be a boon for some because of easy access to get anywhere, or a distraction for others who crave extreme quite and solutide-is that Highway 101 is maybe 50" above the house, so noise from cars and big trucks is an obvious issue. I am really sensitive to noice (we live on a farm way outside of town) and I have to say it did not bother me much and that in my opinion the house is just about perfect in every other way!

Great staying experience at the beautiful house

  • 5 of 5

The house has wonderful views, easy access to waterfront. You can find all necessary tools to let you having a great experience to catch fish, crab, and clams, oyster. The living room and dining room were large and comfortable, I especially love the roomy dinning table. The kitchen is well-equipped, the bedrooms are well-maintained, clean linens and towels generously supplied. Also owner provided us the well-informed instruction and attraction information nearby. The only little drawback was a little noise from highway next to house. But if you closed all windows and doors, it was not an big issue. It was a pleasure to stay at this beautiful house.

Owner's Response: We are glad that you enjoyed our home, property, and beach so much. The beach access is very easy. We have amenities for enjoying and harvesting shellfish or salmon ready for our guests use. It is a thrill to catch and then cook fresh shellfish and cook it in our well appointed kitchen. The kitchen, dining room, and living room are extra large and comfortable with an open floor plan. My team and ourselves take pride in offering well maintained homes for our guests to enjoy. Our sheets are high thread count and we have plenty of soft thirsty towels for the bathrooms and for use after you use the jetted spa. I send out an activity list to all of our guests before their stay. A year ago we planted many Leland Cypress trees between the road and our home to decrease the noise. This type of tree grows quickly. Our home is very well insulated so it is not an issue if the windows are closed. We will look forward to welcoming you back for your next stay. Thank you, Tammy

Plenty to do for all ages. It is fun to try crabbing and then cook up your catch. We provide an outside propane crab and clam cooker. Perfect Summer Getaway!

  • 4 of 5

Great place! Amazing views of water, Eagles, Otters, Seals! We had a group of 8 and needed nothing! We could not believe how well stocked the house is for large groups! Spent our days kayaking and exploring and evenings enjoying the deck! Only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was due to the street noise, the house backs up to Hwy. 101 and it's pretty loud. We like fresh air, so our windows were open, if we closed them and used the air conditioner it probably would have been fine. Or drank more wine! It's a great place that needs to be experienced, so don't let the noise deter you from staying here! Also, loved the welcome basket with great coffee and makings for s'mores!

Owner's Response: We are pleased that you enjoyed our home and Hood Canal area so much. We try to make out of town and local guests feel right at home with a well appointed and well stocked house. One year ago we planted Leland Cypress between our home and Hwy 101, they grow quickly. They will be a good noise block from the noises of the Hwy. When the windows are closed our home is very well insulated and noise is not an issue. It is so fun to watch all of the wildlife from our home or a boat. We are glad that you enjoyed our welcome basket. We hope to have you back for another stay. Thank you, Tammy
