Largest unit in the bldg & great location- 2 Brms + Kids Bonus Room
We purchased this double unit at The Inn at Silvercreek and completely renovated it with an eye for comfort, families, and mountain elegance. Everything, from the low VOC carpet, beautiful tile work and blue-stain pine trim throughout, to the hand scraped textured walls, fully appointed kitchen that includes full-size stainless steel appliances and cherry cabinetry were complete upgrades to the existing unit(s).
We gutted the main bathroom and extended the upstairs loft by 6 feet to include a reading nook; then built out a kid’s bonus room off the loft with a twin over full futon couch/bunk and space for them to hangout while the grown-ups take in the views off the main deck and relax. The expansion gave us the largest unit in the entire complex.
Ours is a very quiet top floor end unit overlooking two ponds and the hillside up to Ski Granby Ranch. It has convenient access to the pool & fitness center without the long walk or extra noise of being a little too close.
The main living area has a full bath with double vanity, a real full-size & fully stocked kitchen for people who cook, living room with a pullout couch, large loft with 2 Qs, reading nook and the kids room with the bunk system. There is a large master bedroom with vaulted ceiling, a comfy king bed, cozy dining/work area, small fridge for necessities, full bath, large closet, and its own deck.
BR 1- The master bedroom has a king bed.
BR 2 - The 2nd bedroom is the loft with 2 queen beds and an armoire for storage.
The 3rd room is the kid’s bunk room with a twin over full futon couch off the loft.
Also has the queen pull out couch in LR in needed.
Both living spaces have adjoining decks that can connect as one long deck or be locked-off for separate use. The views from the decks are amazing year round and take in the hillside designated for elk & deer grazing range, a pond with fountain out front and the larger lake across the road looking up the picturesque hillside to Ski Granby Ranch. During the winter they light the slopes on the weekends for night skiing and we benefit with the view of a winter wonderland. In the summer you may just see moose/deer/elk come to feed at the ponds, coyote on the hunt, majestic white pelicans or even a yellow-bellied marmot sunning on the rocks! Grab our binoculars and see what you spot.
The living area features comfortable family friendly furnishings, a 4 top table for regular usage that expands to seat 6. There is an HD 42' flat screen with basic cable and a second TV in the master BR with a portable DVD player for those needed breaks from all the outdoor fun. There is a large hall closet, ample storage in the bathroom and additional storage under the stairs for large items if needed. There is also free WiFi throughout.
Many of the units at the Inn at SilverCreek are individually owned, and the quality of renovations varies depending on the owner’s preferences. Ours included making this a home-away-from-home for ourselves and now, for you, our guests. We take pride in the work and extra touches we put into making our unit special for us and you.
The Inn provides an unprecedented list of onsite amenities that include:
a year-round heated indoor/outdoor swimming pool, 4 hot tubs (2 inside, 2 outside), sauna, full fitness center, 2 racquetball courts, tennis and volleyball courts, putt-putt green, horseshoe pits, BBQ grills & smoker with an outdoor picnic area, a full restaurant, beauty salon, onsite "general store", free WiFi throughout, onsite ski rental shop, complementary business center, guest lounge areas, and onsite coin-op laundry. The building does have elevators & bell carts for guest convenience.
A note about canine guests… We do welcome well-behaved older dogs with a $25.00 per pet fee for the additional cleaning costs.
The Inn is a pet-friendly place, but not all units allow pets so please be respectful of other guests at all times. Dogs must be leashed and there are several strategically placed dog-waste disposal areas for our furry guests around the perimeter of the property. If you bring a pet, please abide by all Inn regulations or you may be subject to fines or cancellation of your stay. Pets must be registered at the front desk for their safety, all waste must be disposed of properly and pets should not be left in units for extended periods. Take your pooch by the front desk to say Hi and get a treat! (Ours view it is a “drive-by window”!) Lastly, if your pet gets anxious while you are out, you will be responsible for the havoc they wreak. Sorry, but due to a naughty puppy, we no longer allow them.

One of us is a Colorado native, but both have lived in many parts of the country and even internationally. No matter where we were, we had to end up back to the front range area because our family loves the beauty of the Rocky Mountains and Colorado active lifestyle.

This condo sits in a perfect, peaceful place for us to enjoy all the area has to offer. You really are in the heart of Grand County. There is beautiful scenery and wildlife to take in everywhere. We also have plenty to do year round. Skiing, snowshoeing, and sledding during the winter months. Playing in the pool, golfing, fishing, hiking in the summer. There is just something special about being able to get away from real life and gear down a bit in such a picturesque location.
What makes this Condo unique
Due its location in the building it is one of the closest units to the pool area making the walk there and back easy and fast. But its not so close as to be bothered by the outdoor pool noise. With the extra square footage we added, the space allows 2 families to spread out and enjoy this condo quite comfortably.

We recently stayed at this condo twice in a months period! We had 2 special birthdays to celebrate. One for a 40 year old and one for a 14 year old. Totally different celebrations but the condo was perfect for both! We had plenty of room for Grandparents, kids and the birthday kids (40 year old). For the 2nd celebration we had plenty of room for the parents and 4, 14 year olds and 2, 11 year olds. The separate master suite offers privacy for the adults to get away and the upstairs loft and bedroom is perfect for the kiddos or 2nd family. The condo is stocked full of anything you need, including plastic cups to take to the pool:). Speaking of the pool, indoor/outdoor pool and hot tubs were fun for kids and adults. Racquet ball courts and game room offered extra fun during snowy days. The condo itself is in a great location in the building, offering privacy and quiet surroundings. Close to lots of restaurants ( order your to go pizza from Brickyard 40, delish!). Beds are comfy, water pressure is awesome (these are the things we look for). Owner was extremely accommodating and friendly. We'll definitely book again in the future!
Favorite place to get away!
This is our favorite place to stay when we go up to the mountains in either the winter or summer. The unit is extremely comfortable and up to date. The kitchen has everything you need to be able to cook a gourmet meal. The beds are all very comfortable and there is enough sleep space for 8 plus two bathrooms. Multiple TVs and bedrooms/loft allow for "space" so that you never feel like you are on top of each other.
The unit overlooks a pond and has view of Granby Ranch. It is so peaceful to sit out on the balcony with morning coffee and enjoy watching the wildlife in the area.
The property has all sorts of amentities: pool (indoor/outdoor-year round), 4 hot tubs (indoor/outdoor), sauna, workout facilities, racquetball courts, tennis courts, arcade, ski shop and restaurant. Everything is well maintained and provided hours of entertainment for the kids -- great for "unplugging".
Winter Park, Frazier and Granby are all nearby with many activities and food options. Our favorite is the Mid-town Cafe in Granby for breakfast.
Big bonus - there is a grocery store (and liquor store :) ) right across the street so you don't have to pack in all of your food.
Of all the places we have stayed...this one provides the most comfort and fun!

A true home away from home! We all slept well, ate well, relaxed and enjoyed the property.
Seven of us stayed and felt at home the entire time. Our beds provided good nights sleep, the baths and showers were good, and the kitchen allowed us to cook meals dine in.
The place was very warm and comfortable and we enjoyed the lodge as well (hot tubs were cleaned everyday, sauna, and ski rentals).
The views and location were ideal for us, the trip each day to Winter Park was fine (we do recommend leaving the mountain around 3-330 to beat the rush), and we enjoyed going into Granby and he Hot Sulfur Springs.
Our hosts stayed in touch and the entire reservation process was very simple and helpful. This is an ideal property, accurately described and very enjoyable.
Enjoyable Stay in a Fabulous Condo
We truly enjoyed our five-day visit to the condo at SilverCreek. The unit was well-apointed and equipped with everything you need for a worry-free vacation. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking at the hillsides of Granby Ranch. Another benefit: the unit is situated at the end of the building and on the top floor. We were never disturbed by noise from other condos. Casey was quick to respond to every inquiry and checked in with us on day one to ensure everything was to our liking. We will definitely stay at this unit again on future visits to the Granby and Grand Lake area.

The location in Grand County can't be beat- literally in the middle of everything there is to do in the rocky mountains! 4 golf courses, 3 lakes & multiple rivers, Rocky Mountain National Park (with moose), YMCA of the Rockies just 5 minutes down the road, miles of mountain biking trails, a range of dining options...you won't be bored or go hungry. There is a grocery store, Starbucks, liquor store, gas station, McDonalds & Subway across Hwy 40 from the Inn. Granby is 5 minutes and has shops & some casual dining (try Brickhouse 40 and Midtown Cafe or Azteca Mexican). There are also medical & vet facilities there. During the winter months the activities change in nature but not in number. Granby Ranch ski area is 2 minutes up and over the hill. They have great family friendly skiing/boarding, lessons, and special activities all season long complete with fireworks off the main slope on NYE. There is free snow shoeing and cross country skiing right on the Granby Ranch Golf Course or miles of trails throughout grand county. Snowmobilers have access to some of RM National Park as well as adventures to the continental divide. Tabernash -10 minutes (try 5-star Tabernash Tavern or Devils Thumb Resort and Spa- both are great); Fraser 20 minutes; Winter Park 25 minutes; Lake Granby 10 minutes and Grand Lake 25; Sulphur Hot Springs 15 minutes; Rocky Mountain National Park 25 minutes. There is an onsite restaurant called Silvercreek Steakhouse that provides casual, quick and affordable meals that can even be prepped to take back to the condo. Don’t forget the onsite game room for the kids.
