Very spacious 3 bedroom 2 bathroom condominum located in Building 5 at the Kamaole Sands Resort. BRAND NEW AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM FOR ALL ROOMS THROUGHOUT JUST INSTALLED!!! First floor very private corner unit with everything on one level, no loft or stairs. Reserved parking directly in front of condo entrance. Great open concept with attached kitchen and family room. All bedrooms have doors and complete privacy. Two bedrooms have king size beds and the third bedroom has two twin beds. Washer and dryer inside the unit. Tastefully decorated with a coastal beach theme. Two beautiful private ground floor garden patios for eating and relaxing with a small water view. Complex has a gorgeous large pool with multiple hot tubs, drink bar and gym. Spectacular grounds include 4 new tennis courts. All of this just steps from the best stretch of beaches on Maui!

Beautiful unit and property, steps from Beach

Quiet corner on the ground floor – best lanai on the whole property. Pool is fun, kids loved the ping-pong, hot tubs and giant shaved ice at the snack bar (only $5!). Unit does not have a snorkel or boogie boards but can easily be rented unit does not have a snorkel or boogie boards but can easily be rented. The beach in front of property is outstanding for snorkeling, boogie boards, beach play… And even some shade in the early morning.

Tons of supplies in the condo… A few books and games, plasticware for lunch on the go, good washer and dryer to keep towels fresh. Main bathroom is small and without a tub, but master bedroom has one . I wonderful time – hope to be back soon

Nice property, well taken care of and a great location.

Our family of 7 adults had a great one week vacation at this condo. The condo was spacious and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The owner was helpful and easy to work with. The price seemed fair for the area and the access to the beach was easy and close by. We did have one problem and that was we were burglarized. While we were at the beach one morning the someone broke in and took the ladies purses and wallets. I say this not as a negative of the property, just to warn you that you need to take precautions. We were unaware of this concern and did not use all the door and window locks that we available. The only negative is we wish the owner made some sort of comment in the welcome instructions about the locks. If we knew of all the locks and used them properly, this would not have happened. If we ever go back to Kehi we will rent here again.

Owner's Response: Hi Michael, in the 5 years we have owned the condo and the hundreds of guests who have rented, we have never had a break in until now. I am so sorry your family experienced this and I honestly wish it had happened to my own family instead of one of our guests! We have slider locks on all the windows and doors. We also provide security warnings and instructions upon arrival with your check in material. Great suggestion, for future, I will provide additional instructions with arrival material prior to check in to reiterate the importance of using the slider locks. You were perfect guests and we would love to have your family back!

Great location, beautiful condo!

This place was awesome! It is in a great complex close to the beach and has a nice pool that we enjoyed. The best part is it is on the ground level and has a great little backyard area my kids loved exploring and catching lizards in. Close walk to lots of stores and resteraunts and across the street from a Kamaole 3 beach with lots of turtles! We would stay here again!

Amazing ground floor unit!

We loved our stay here! The unit is very loved with its cleanliness and all it's "beachy" touches. We loved the Lanai! Our 4 kids could run free and do cartwheels on the beautiful geeen space and come and go to the pool, -as it was so close. The unit was very cozy and well equipped with anything you need for a vacation! We recommend getting or renting boogie boards, as the beach out from is very fun!!! We highly recommend this unit and hope to return soon!

*we forgot our iPad in the unit after leaving, and the owner of the cleaning company called me and offered to bring it to the airport!!! Luckily we were still on the grounds though.

Well maintained and managed property

We are a group of 3 generations. The place is perfect for the grand kids. They can run around and not confined to a small hotel room. The unit is exactly looks like the pictures. The kitchen is almost well equipped. The only thing it does not have is a rice cooker. I had to buy one because my grand kids like to eat rice. Communications from the landlord is good. Starting April 2017 the complex uses open parking system but the landlord did not communicate this with us. Their standard welcome letter told us about the assigned parking spots. It almost created problem with us (May 2017). Swimming pool is a dip pool. Don't expect swim-able pool here. The landlord provides starter soap for laundry and dishwasher. If they are willing to spend a couple of dollar more to supply the soap for the whole stay, they could get a super happy tenants and a five star. I know, it is cost less than $10 but a small gesture goes a long way. Certainly would be one of my first 3 choices for future trip to Kihei.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your review. I am so glad you had a wonderful vacation in our home! I apologize about any inconvenience with parking. We have 2 reserved parking spots directly in front of our condo. One of the other buildings in the complex is currently being painted. So for a few months the parking will not be reserved to handle over flow. I was unaware of the exact start date at the time of forwarding the arrival instructions. But for the most part, according to my current guests, parking is very easy and still vey available in front of our condo. I have a wonderful property manager who would have gladly gone out and purchased a rice cooker. Sorry you went to all that trouble. Next time, do not hesitate to call her for anything. She has been known to go out and purchase wine glasses, phones and other items. In regards to soap, I agree, there should be plenty of soap products in the condo. Typically I stock an abundance of shower gel, hand soap, laundry soap and dish soap. I will check with the cleaning staff on our current supply. We take a great deal of pride in our rental and want to make sure each guest has the absolute best experience. I am glad you will consider us for your next stay on Maui.

Where do you live?

The property was nice and in a great location.

Loved the location and comfort of the home. It could use some measuring cups and other essentials. I was a little taken back by the amount of cleaning that had to be done before we left the unit especially when we were getting charged a cleaning fee. I felt we did most of the cleaning for them. Thank you for the lovely place though. All in all it was great and we would use it again if the opportunity presented itself. A big thank you to the owners for all the information they provided on restaurants and activities.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for the review! We really value feedback from our guests. It brings us great satisfaction knowing that our visitors had a wonderful stay. I will make sure we add measuring cups to the condo, things periodically go missing as many of our guests rent multiple units and share supplies between the condos. My wonderful property manager, Doris, is always happy to run to the store if there is something you need. She also mentioned that the condo was immaculate when you checked out. Thank you so much for taking such great care of the place. I am also very sorry if there was some sort of misunderstanding on the amount of cleaning that is required. Typically, guests check out and check in the same day. We have approximately 4 hours to turn the condo over to another guest. We ask the following of our guests: dishwasher be run, garbage taken out, sheets cleaned and folded, empty fridge and start a load of towels for the next guest. The cleaning staff take care of the following: clean the bathrooms, wipe down the fridge, wash floors, make up beds, wash duvet covers, wash towels, clean rugs, dust, clean couch covers, sweep patios, put dishes away, wash down kitchen, clean stove and oven. I am sincerely sorry if there was any misunderstanding. I would be happy to refund some or all of the cleaning fee if you went beyond the usual routine. I take full responsibility if the details were not laid out clearly. We would love to have you back, you were fabulous guests!!!

Condo is located directly accross the street from one of the nicest beaches in Maui, Kamaole III. Also, great central location within walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. Wonderful seaside walking path in front of unit.
