Four Bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, Waterfront Home Four Miles From Sandpoint.
We live in this paradise and are very excited to share our home with you. Our home accommodates up to 16 people (or more with the complete RV hook-up next to the house). This home is a custom, high quality home built with high ceilings and a floor to ceiling rock fireplace inside. You walk right off the deck down to the dock!
Imagine starting your day sipping coffee (or tea) on the deck overlooking the water, listening to the birds sing good morning, and watching the eagles soar overhead. Sometimes we jump on the pontoon to savor our coffee and let the breath taking sunrise or sunset on the beautiful Pend Orielle nurture our souls. For the adventurous ones in the group, there is jet skiing, mountain biking, roller coasters at Silverwood Amusement Park in the summer or downhill skiing at Schweitzer Mountain or snowmobiling in the winter.
Sandpoint has earned many awards for fun activities and endless beautiful resources (check out Sandpoint's Chamber of Commerce website under 10 amazing places).
However, although every season is filled with different activities to do, one common theme throughout the year is sending time in a home away from home that welcomes you and your loved ones.

About Mick Reina
We were both born in Alaska, but did not meet until a few years ago. Although LeDette grew up in Alaska before moving down to the states to raise her three gorgeous girls, Mick was raised on the Oregon Coast and went to Alaska every summer to visit his Dad and to work construction. He raised his family of four daughters here on the lake, taking his family to Alaska each summer to run his commercial fishing operation in Bristol Bay for 23 years. Every winter he'd return to Sandpoint to live at this location and raise his four beautiful daughters. Currently, LeDette is a teacher and Mick is a commercial and residential building inspector in Sandpoint. He enjoyed flying his airplane to Alaska every year and now enjoys flying to remote areas here in North Idaho. His hobbies include flying, four wheeling, motorcycle riding, fishing and hiking here in Sandpoint and in Alaska. He also enjoys snow skiing and golfing here locally. LeDette enjoys flying with him, boating, hiking, dancing, laughing and spending time with family and friends. Mick bought his first home on this property 25 years ago and built this home in 2007. We decided to rent out this home, and the one we bought next door that Mick built 17 years ago, as vacation rentals so that other people could enjoy our homes as we do! Before Mick moved here in 1985, he spent two years looking for the perfect place to raise his family. He will never forget the feeling he had the first time he crossed the long bridge and saw Sandpoint for the first time. He knew this was where we wanted to be. When LeDette visited friends here, she knew this was were she wanted to live and retire. Sandpoint has most of what Alaska has to offer, but much better weather and all four seasons to enjoy. The people here are very friendly and the quality of life is amazing. We look forward to talking with you about renting our home and to helping your vacation be the best ever!
Mick Reina purchased this House in 2007
Why Mick Reina chose Sagle
This home is a very nice upscale home. I have beds for 16 people and decided to price the home under the market pricing, as to offer it to a wider range of family's and friends budgets. I am also hoping to keep the home rented throughout each season. I have very much enjoyed meeting all of my travelers. You will enjoy the quiet neighbor hood and the location of this home. You will be able to access most of what this area has to offer without a long boat ride or drive to your destination. We are four miles from Sandpoint, 45 minutes from Couer d' Alene. 40 miles from Canada, Montana and Washington borders. Hard surfaced roads will take you from the home to any of these locations. The home is only one mile from Hwy 95 and is in a quiet and private setting on the water with its own private dock. There is a paved walking/biking path that leads to Sandpoint or you can ride south toward Coeur d' Alene. There is a great hiking trail called Gold Hill, five miles on bottle bay road, heading east from the home, that will give you a amazing view of Sandpoint and the lake at the top of the mountain. Gold hill is also fun for mountain bike riders. North Idaho offers endless outdoor activities year round and you will have no problem finding fun things to do indoors or outdoors during your stay. There are many great restaurants that are a short boat ride away, from my home, that can be enjoyed for every meal of the day. Sandpoint is a 15 minute boat ride from my dock to the city harbor or Sandcreek.
What makes this House unique
This home has a hot tub, fire pit, private dock and the waters edge is only 100 foot away from the covered deck where you can sit and dine outdoors and use the gas Weber BBQ for cooking. Fish and swim right off the dock. The home has an attached 55' RV covered port that has full hookups and will fit most large recreational vehicles. You can see your boat and watercraft's while standing on the covered deck of the home. There is a very nice Connelly pool table inside the home that will be able to be converted into a large 10-12 capacity dining room table with seating. The granite kitchen counter top also offers dining and seating for six additional people. The home offers a beautiful granite fireplace for use in the winter months. Air conditioning and forced air gas or electric heat provided throughout the home. Electric floor heat in the master bathroom. The home has two laundry room areas, one upstairs for the two bedrooms and one full bath area upstairs of this home. One full bathroom and laundry off the master bedroom and a large walk in closet area. The main house ceilings are 9' and the flooring is beautiful Brazilian Cherry wood and Slate flooring, at the main level of the home. Carpet in all the bedrooms. All counter tops are granite. All bedrooms offer flat screen TV's with cable TV and a DVD for viewing movies. Wireless internet provided throughout the home. Use of the large two car garage and RV port will also be available to the renters. Cement parking area in front of the home with a basketball hoop. Owner will supply a canoe that will be secured to the dock for the tenants to use during their stay. Tenants will need to supply their own flotation vests. I have two three place Sea-doo jet skis and a pontoon that can be rented to my tenants for they're stay if desired. Please give early notice to me if this is your desire. Rental rates will be discounted.

Incredible amount of space
We really enjoyed our stay. There were 7 of us and a ton of room. It was a great location. Easy drive to Sandpoint. It was great to have the dock which was a short boat ride to the lake. It was so quiet. We would definitely stay here again. It was our best vacation in years. The house was well kept. Mick was easy to deal with.
Great place Great owner
The house was beautiful, spacious and very well stocked with everything you might need. The water is a big draw if you have kids. Wish there would have been a ladder at the dock, so this chubby old granny could get out easier. Had a blast watching the kids though. Mick is awesome, taking very good care of his renters, and rental. There are beds galore, and most are extremely comfy.
awesme place... everything you need to have a memorable stay
Our Family's Experience
I had booked the home for a family vacation. There were 10 of us, 7 adults, 1 teen and 2 kids. We thoroughly enjoyed the home. It accommodated all our needs and wants. There was something for everyone, including basketball hoop and foosball table. Having the dock was great--convenient and protected for our boat.
I very much enjoyed meeting you all this summer! Thank you for your review of my property. I have met so many wonderful people this summer and in the past seasons of renting out both of my homes. What a great way to make friends! Mick Reina.
Wonderful property for families and large groups
We stayed here in July 2017 and the house was amazing. The house had a great setup for our large group and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking for meals for many people. The lake access was convenient for boating, swimming and paddle boarding. The house was clean and well cared for, it felt like home. And the owners were beyond helpful and willing to offer suggestions for dining or to answer any questions we had. We would absolutely recommend this property to everyone and hopefully we can stay here again next year!
Stunning property and Mick is wonderful!
Had a wonderful time at Mick's beautiful home. Rented the jet skis and pontoon which made the stay even better. House is huge and provides ample space for 12+ easily. If I ever come back to Sandpoint I'm staying there (if it's available :))!
This home is located four miles south of Sandpoint on Fry Creek, off of Lake Pend Oreille and is a five minute boat to the lake or five minute car ride to Sandpoint. The water is 10 to 12 feet deep in this safe channel and can safely moor 34 foot boats at the dock, which has about 8 feet of water. Schweitzer Mountain Resort is 15 miles from home. Sandpoint offers a wide range of activities any time of the year, including boating on the lake Pend Orellie which is the 5th deepest lake in the US. Sking at Schweitzer Mountain Resort and dining at our many fine restaurants are some of our favorite activities. Boating, summer hiking, mountain biking ,huckleberry picking and ski lift rides are other favorites of ours. Silverwood theme park is located only 20 miles south on hwy 95 and a must for most of our young guests.
