Gorgeous View, Beautiful cabin, Wonderful week, Comfortable, Clean, Attentive Owners
We had a wonderful week stay at this lovely cabin. We were thrilled to find it met our expectations and much more! The view of Flathead Lake and the Mountains was spectacular. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings and taking it all in. Watching the moon rise over the lake was a highlight each night. We saw deer in the evenings and early morning every day. The cabin was well stocked, clean, very comfortable and accommodated us very well. Comfortable beds, great showers and we appreciated the ceiling fans. We pulled the shades during the day, then opened up the windows each night and it cooled off beautifully for sleeping. This cabin easily accommodated our group of 5 with three very nice bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. We loved the loft Master bed and bath! So peaceful and quiet . . . A perfect get away! We spent several days enjoying Glacier and the surrounding area: hiking, white water rafting, Going to the Sun road, Many Glacier, Big Fork, etc. Our daughter was married at FLBC near Lakeside and we were happy to have this beautiful, restful home to come back to after a very busy wedding weekend. Thank you, Janice, for sharing your lovely home with us! We appreciated your attention to the details and your great communication! We would love to come back someday!
Gorgeous views, thoughtful and attentive owners, beautiful home!
This place is amazing! The log home is so comfortable and well situated for the things we wanted to do. The beds and linens were high quality and the entire place was very clean. The owners stocked the kitchen with everything you could possibly need. The spice cabinet is legendary, in fact. We spent as much time as we could on the spacious deck enjoying the incredible views. Proximity to Glacier National Park, Whitefish and Missoula was perfect. The owner actually got in touch with us from her vacation to make sure all was well. We highly recommend this property and are hopeful we will be lucky enough to come back soon! Thank you for sharing this exquisite home!
You couldn't of said it better! Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a beautiful review. We welcome you back anytime!
Great location, beautiful views!
Fantastic wrap around deck, perfect for enjoying sunset with a glass of wine after a day at Glacier or on the lake.
Seclusion and Awesome View
We loved the view! The property is exactly as described- well kept, well stocked, bed was comfortable, ample linens, Wi-Fi worked well. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening. Happy to have the ceiling fans and the extra box fans with the unusually hot weather the week we stayed. We would highly recommend this property. We already received our security deposit!
Thanks for your review and we are glad you enjoyed! Janice Sumner
Wonderful VIew, all the amenities of home!!
We were looking to stay somewhere that we could cook meals as we don't like eating out and have a nice view with no neighbors right next door. This was definitely it! 4 of us stayed here with room to spare. I could work downstairs while the others slept in the early morning hours and we had plenty of room. Everything we could need to cook was there and even an entire drawer of spices! (we forgot those) We never turned on the wonderful TV as the view was amazing and we were outside any time we were there. Hiking and kayaking were our favorites (I had over 25000 Fitbit steps daily!) and it was very breezy in the house most days. The evenings were awesome as the sun doesn't set until about 10pm (we were there summer solstice) The bedrooms were great and we each had our own bath, which made getting ready easier. 3 couples can easily stay here, there is plenty of room. We all came away renewed and were really sad to leave. It was an awesome week and the few questions we had were met with kindness from Janice, who was great and either answered the phone right away or got back to us quickly. Communications were always great which was much appreciated. The place is more wonderful than the pics and the pics are amazing! We had an awesome time in the area with so much to do (Must visit West Glacier, it was amazing) and the views from the house are just as amazing! We were very busy with a family wedding a few days in Kalispell, and wish we would have spent more time just sitting at the house. We have stayed at some awesome VRBO's, our first in the mountains, and as stated, your breath will be taken away by the views. Oh, and there is still snow in the mountains, awesome view this time of year! Thank you Janice for such a wonderful experience!!
Thank you for taking the time to write such a beautiful review. In the past 7 years I've had many good reviews but yours is definitely one of the best!
Awesome get away
From waking up in the morning with deer just outside your window to watching soaring eagles in the evening to the peace and quite it does not get any better. With Kellispell being a very short drive you can be a busy or as lazey as you want. The log house was fantastic and the views of the lake and mountains are beautiful. The wrap around deck will give you as much shade or sunlight, you pick. So much to see and do. The history of the area is very interesting.
To sum it up "Great place for a get away"
Thanks Les for the wonderful review, so glad you enjoyed your stay!
