Not what I imagine the place to look like based on the pictures. I knew it was a simple place, but it was so dirty and someone kept and so run down when the property next door was run down. It was not enjoyable, so disappointing. The dock was across the street in front of somebody else's house, so you didn't even know. If you could use it or not. Very uncomfortable. Left the next day was supposed to stay friday saturday sunday monday last saturday morning

With the exception of the bathroom, the house was clean. The furniture is in poor condition.The bathroom was the main issue. There is an unclean smell emitting from it, which takes over the entire house. Also, when running hot water in the bathroom, the toilet will also fill up with steaming hot water, making the smell even worse.We actually did not spend too much time there by design because we do not feel comfortable. we understand that the price Less than many of the houses around. However, there are many updates that need to be done..

Fabulous place

Our cottage was adorable!!! Everything was very accommodating, cabinets fully stocked, comfortable beds, beautiful lake view and close proximity to everything we were there for. We can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed staying here very much, we had warm weather and relaxed on the deck much of the time. Full sized bed did not fit 2 people but we were able to spread out. Nothing fancy about this place, no a/c but we managed fine with fans.

Rustic Fishing Camp

We had a nice stay at this property..the property is as listed an older fishing camp....but was good for the price. If you are looking for a rustic older fishing camp to stay it is what you are looking for ..no air conditioning which at this time of year is something that is very nice to have.

Well situated to visit Chautauqua and Jamestown. Enjoyed kayaking. With some TLC, this place could be adorable. Windows and screens were quite dirty; otherwise clean.

This property was awful! The pictures in the ad do NOT match what it looks like now. Place is overgrown with weeds, house in need of repair, moss all over roof, gutters full of weeds even a tarp on the back porch roof House smelled of musty, mildew, dust etcPlace was filthy!!!!!!! Furniture was so dirty I did not want to even sit on The bathroom had old nasty carpet that smelled like urine! The shower/tub was filthy. I would not even bath in it . Afraid of catching something!! Bedrooms- beds are from the 1950’s, I had to put our own blankets on top of their nasty items. I was afraid of catching bed bugs or something else. There is no air conditioning just really old fans The ad made you think the dock for your boat was behind the house but it’s way across the street. Cannot see from the cottage! The owner should be ashamed for renting such a placeI would tell people NOT to stay here! I have rented numerous VRBO homes and I have never seen any house like this absolutely disgusting!!

The property could use a good cleaning, but the bedding was fresh and clean. The property manager was very attentive and even brought us fire wood to last our entire stay. Everything was in working order. Water was hot, and electric, wifi, and gas grill all worked well. As others reviewed, if you're looking for a 5 star resort, this isn't it. But other than mattresses needing updated, all was as expected.
